Pick n pay

Well stocked with most regular items. Shoppers well regulated and compliant and free parking as well. A bit slow existing as too few check outs active but overall a good experience.

One of my favourite pick n pays to go to, always well stocked. Just try avoid busy hours as waterfront can get a bit crazy

For the last two weeks the slicer in the bakery is not working. The staff don't seem to know what to do or how to correct this matter; they just keep accepting a lower standard, this is not acceptable.

Basic grocery store. Gott what we needed for a simple travelers breakfast and a few snacks.

Some staff are very friendly and helpful some are not at all.

Great Pick n Pay, neat and clean, easy to navigate and well layed out store.
The only problem with this Pick 'n Pay is the lack of cashiers. I feel this is an often overlooked and/or mismanaged area at this particular PnP, fix this/manage this properly by anticipating busy peak times and coordinate the staff focus on the till points to maximise flow of shoppers as well as profits for the branch.
This is a small ask that will change everything for the better.

Long queues and very slow moving as well.No staff to assist on the floor and no management present to even ask for assistance.Cashiers dont greet.This store could use training in customer service and perhaps their values.

I always find the staff so rude here. Specifically the cashiers. They won't even look you in the eye and respond to a nice hi. This is very rare to find people like this in SA but here it's been like this Every time for more than a year now which is almost 10 visits for me. Do the cashiers hate their job so badly?

Love how big the store is and they always have loads of specials. Its just very difficult sometimes becausevyhty dont stick halal meats.

You should try call them and see if they answer their phone,,, not gonna happen.. apparently I'm not the only person trying to call them.. Please answer your phones or add more numbers to try on the web site.

The Pick n pay is big. Has everything you need. From clothing, best already prepared food, cosmetics and food. Great service

A regular, typical supermarket. All you grocery requirements are available as well as a wine shop and hot foods deli.

Easy access to parking and the center of the Waterfront

This is a flagship Pic n pay store, it has all the groceries one could need, an in store butchery, bottle store as well as a selection of household appliances, clothing and pretty large toiletries section, the only selection lacking is the fresh fish selection but otherwise it has it all plus large cheese and cured meats selection.

The premises are clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. They have a wide selection of cooked meals. Business hours are good as well

Mostly visited here to get MTN data, honest chocolate for friends. Well stocked though.

Never enough people working the tills, the lines get super long and the bottle store security allows customers to push in all the time.

Wide range of groceries, meat, seafood and frozen produce. Good selection of wines. Plus everything you regularly need to keep yourself, your family and home presentable.

Only 3 cashier's at 4pm on a Friday, and 2 were dealing with a problem waited a very long time to pay

Plenty of free underground parking. Nice big shop with plenty of space for social distancing.

You will always wait in a long line in this store. There is NEVER enough tellers even during peak hours. It makes it very unpleasant especially when you just want to run in for one or two items.

Typically always full before the pandemic, as it is a tourist attraction. A delight during pandemic, as it will properly stocked, although promoted items sell out fast. Clean, secure, short queues, very friendly staff esp at entrance, til points and clothing department. I should make this spot again be my new grocery shopping store, although I live 500m from the Sea Point store...

Its a Pick and Pay. Fyi the fruit and vegtable section is very poor.

The butcher has some of the best aged steaks around. Better than all the artisan and specialist butchers. Suffice to say one doesn't feel as 'cool' to be buying steaks at Pick n Pay and not other butchers, but hey best steaks...

There are a wide variety of food items available at this Pick n Pay. The space is well maintained and hygienic, and the staff are very friendly. There is also a clothing section within the market, that's what I call convenience.

Terrible customer service, charged twice on my credit card 17 Dec. was promised to be contacted twice after bringing all the relevant documents. Still waiting ...

Great supermarket with lots of choices. If you scan your receipt at the parking garage, first 90 minutes are free to park. Also they have recycling bins at the parking garage area. As it is not very common in CPT, we carry our recyclables here when we come for shopping.

A great grocery store choice if your apartment is nearby. Clean and with good displays. Lots of healthy food choices and neat items. Nothing like its sister branch in the city centre, which was dingy, dirty and primarily stocked awful processed food. Like Woolworths, these store seem to be vastly different depending on the clientele.
