I have only tried their yuk gae jang (spicy beef soup) here and it s better than the ones in Annandale. Annandale is the area that is known for Korean food. The soup is authentic and the galbi on the bone is a nice added touch. This is probably the most authentic yuk gae jang you will find in DC. The owner is super nice too and is always greeting you with a smile. Highly recommend!

My first time visiting with a friend and there was hair in my food after we arrive back at work to eat. I only tasted two bites before I had my friend take it back. Didn't get a refund and I can't really judge the food since finding the long brown hair which made me sick to my stomach.

This place does a make your own stir fry where you pick your ingredients and pay by the pound. The ingredients selection is good, chicken, beef, pork, tofu, veggies and noodles. It's a good option if you are looking for variety at lunch. They also do sandwiches hot and cold.

Mom and pop type food establishment with very friendly owner and staff. This restaurant makes up for its lack of ambiance and decor with excellent quality food. The stir fry noodles are delicious and at an affordable price (~$6.59 /lb , weighed after your stir fry has been cooked) for students in the area as well as workers -- or really anybody in particular who is looking for a potentially nutritious and very filling meal. Will return!

I have no words to explain this place. The food is ridiculously incredible. The stir fry bar is nice and refreshing. The prices are so adorable (stir fry by weight). The only down side to it is that, THEY CLOSE AT 4PM!! I would love to eat there on a late night.

Excellent

Build your own stir fry is great and just as one reviewer stated the staff is great.

The best kept secret in Foggy Bottom! The choose-your-own-ingredients stir fry is the main attraction, with fresh ingredients and divine sauces. The teriyaki cheesesteak is also fantastic and unique compared to other teriyaki and bulgogi cheesesteaks I've had. The staff is super friendly and will remember you after a few visits and the prices are very reasonable.

Any time I bring Penn Grill into the office for lunch all the coworkers suddenly have to get some, too.

I walked by Penn Grill and decided to go in when I saw how much the people sitting outside were enjoying their meals. I decided to go with the stir fry. You choose your noodles, vegetables, meat and sauce and it's prepared as you watch. I had both egg and rice noodles, kale, mushrooms, onion, beef, pork and chicken with mild/spicy sauce. Everything was fresh and delicious. Based on weight, my meal came to just under $12. Nice to get exactly what you want.

I like their cheese steaks and love the fries but recently my food always seems to taste like everything that has touched their grill and no longer a cheese steak. I suggest cleaning it more often.

UPDATE: I called and spoke with the manager and he acted as if I was lying or he didn't care. Never mind, I just won't bother next time!
