Pricey, but good place for an upscale happy hour on the patio.

The food was pretty good, but WAY more expensive than it should be.

Nice combination of good quality food, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and price. We came for the lunch buffet on Sunday which runs fairly late. I like it here a bit better than TRIO. We got a restaurant. com coupon so plan ahead a bit. Oh and complementary valet.

Note this review is completely based on my experience coordinating a wedding reception at this venue. Of the Austin venues I've worked, this is by far the most flexible in terms of rental time and use of space. The staff are super helpful and good at communicating throughout the process. The food is pretty good and all the guests loved the space with the city views. It was a good mix of indoor and outdoor space with two permanent tents. It can fit 40-50 indoors and 70-100 outdoors depending on your setup. As a restaurant, they provide all the tables, chairs, linens, etc. It's a pricey venue but can be worth it.

Awesome spot for a special brunch - the atmosphere is beautiful on the outdoor patio, and the buffet offers just about everything you could want. Not bad prices for bloody marys/ mimosas, either.

Awesome food and drinks, excellent staff (really, just talk to them). 1/2 off most drinks during happy hour, and the steak is superb.

I just visited recently with some great folks and have been officially been spoiled from all non-perfect wines for the rest of my natural life. Champagne, white, reds and a Riesling - their sommelier is on it. As far as what I ate: on the seasonal menu the antelope tartar was my favorite appetizer, though they were all delicious, the pea soup was green and sultry, the leafy salad was good but nothing special, and the duck with a simple orange and couscous was juicy and spot-on. Dessert disappointed some, but luckily I enjoyed my selection. Overall: what a meal!

Fun but it was expensive, i remember the old Paggi and the price range was very high.

I have only been to Paggi House of brunch, but highly recommend their classy buffet overlooking a golf course. Pretty much any food you can want is on their smorgasbord of goodness. You can also order off the a la carte menu and enjoy tasty treats like chicken and waffles. And as if it could not get any better, $1 mimosas!

Like so many great adventures, a meal at the Paggi House should start at the bar where you can enjoy some of their hand-crafted cocktails such as the chili pepper margarita. Their 5-7 Happy Hour is one of the best in Austin with half-priced drinks and a range of nibbles. As for the meal, our group of 8 tried most of the appetizers, all of which were inventive and well executed - though for me a stand-out favorite was the pea soup. The rib-eye special was spectacular - you can't really go wrong with a perfectly cook slab of top quality beef. We barely made room for dessert which again raised the bar on what you would normally expect from the forgotten third course. Beyond the food, it's a beautifully adapted building in a serene setting with a great view of the city. The service we received was flawless and it's a perfect example of how great dining in Austin can be.

Recently had brunch here and they have a mixture of a buffet and menu. The drinks are really good and some have fresh fruits in them and don't taste too syrupy. The buffet portion of the brunch gives you a good amount of options while the menu items allow you to have more of the fancier foods. I nice combination in my opinion and a place worth revisiting.

The drinks are well made and the atmosphere is relaxing, yet lively. What makes their happy hour really special is the half priced bar food menu. I shared mussels and fries with the friend I met. I loved it and I'm not even a big mussels person.

Paggi House is a great happy hour spot in Austin. Right up there with Parkside, East Side Showroom, and Contigo.

The place to go for happy hour. They even have happy hour on Saturday. The drinks are strong and cheap, especially the Mint Julip. It's only $5! Also recommend the chicken pot pie and the mussels with fries.

This is one of my "Top 5" favorite happy hours in town! Half off their bar snacks and drinks. My favorite cocktail, served up martini style, is the Texas Wildflower - Vodka, Grapefruit Juice, St. Germaine and Lavender Bitters ($5 during happy hour!). My favorite bar snack is the mussels and seasoned shoe-string fries.

There is plenty of patio seating in the front, and additional outdoor seating in the back where there is a bar and smaller tables. Parking can be challenging if you're not willing to use the free (except for the tip) valet. You can park along the golf course but you risk getting you car hit by stray balls.

Very loud! A great place to go to see all the different types in Austin. Food was okay, but overpriced, go during happy hour. Service outstanding.

We went to Paggi House for a nice night out. The food was good, though maybe not *quite* worth the asking price. They have a lot of very good drinks at the bar. The service was just ok. You can do better than Paggi for a nice evening out, but you won't regret going if you do.

My favorite brunch buffet spot in Austin. And they also have a great happy hour. Must try both the agave margarita and the strawberry mojito.

Gum chewing by the bad server after waiting 20 min for a table when you made reservations should never be ok i think the manager should get caned

I came here for brunch and highly recommend it! They have a buffet which includes ordering several dishes from the kitchen. Everything was well presented and very yummy. Mimosas are a must, and the patio is beautiful.

Best happy hour in town! The drinks are amazing, and the happy hour apps taste fantastic. The menu changes slightly every few months, which is a nice surprise. The location is phenomenal, especially the bar in the back, and the staff is great. Highly recommend! Try the cucumber margarita and the lamb sliders, won't disappoint!

Great food, great drinks. A little pricey, but the quality is worth it.

I've been to the Paggi House twice now. There food is good but rich. They have great ideas but I think they over-execute it. On each occasion, both my boyfriend and I, enjoy the food but feel that they over sauce it. For example, Lamb is already delicate and delicious so why smother it in sauce. Yes, the sauce may be tasty but again, don't overwhelm the palate. Let the meat speak for itself. They do have great cocktails and the atmosphere is very pleasing.

Oh man what a brunch. Manchego cheese is always welcome, but their link sausage was out of this world. Then, when I loaded my cinnamon french toast with fresh strawberries and cream? So much goodness.

It's up to like $25 a piece I think, but still worth it. Obviously not every Sunday.

I have only been here for drinks, but I enjoyed the atmosphere of the outside patio a lot. I like how it is almost hidden a street over from Lamar. You can sit outside and yet not have to endure the exhaust and commotion of pedestrian and automobile traffic.

Paggi House is one of the most romantic spots in Austin. I must recommend it for date nights.

So me and my friend went for brunch today. decided to get the restaurant week $17 brunch... EVERYTHING was cold... :( and we were both starving, so we ate it anyways, but never again.... heard good things about this place, ours wasn't a good experience...

This place has one of the best brunch's in Austin in my opinion. It is also great for happy hour and sitting out on the patio when its nice weather. Dinner menu is not the highlight here but it's all done very well and a good value.

Great for happy hour on the patios. Dinner in the dinning room is a bit stuffy, but if you really like your date-you'll have a great time. The food is really good.

i have mixed thoughts on the paggi house. amazing brunch but a less than stellar dinner. maybe my next will be better

The brunch here is absolutely amazing. With a buffet line as well as a menu order option, you'll get everything you want. At first I thought the buffet line was rather small, but supplementing it with that menu is brilliant! I split my brunch about half and half and would probably do the same if I can make it back.

Not sure what all the fuss is about. I found the brunch to be standard. The pound cake was awesome and so was the French toast. The Sangria was actually watered down wine with lemonade (no brandy). I'm going to go back for happy hour. The courtyard bar showed promise. The scene wasn't as hip as I had hoped for.

Good happy hour with tasty cocktails. $25 brunch with some damn good chicken and waffles.

Went here to celebrate my engagement- the staff could not have been more accommodating and friendly! Great food and atmosphere! I recommend eating on the patio.

I had a gift certificate for Paggi House and was excited to try as many dishes as I could. The restaurant itself is nice, with great outdoor patio seating for casual conversations, or private indoor seating for more intimate conversations.

The House Made Bread & Butter was good, I liked the butter spread they provided. The other dishes I have to say were just average.

All of Paggi House's portion sizes are really small; I would say appetizer portion. The Potato Gnocchi was not very flavorful and texture wise was a little harder than I would've liked. Foie Gras was a little salty for me. The Duck Breast was probably the best dish overall. I enjoyed the sweetness of the purple potato.

Of course I needed to try the desserts. Unfortunately I was disappointed. Some of the ingredients in the desserts just didn't make any sense. What are the cheerios for on the Caramel Brownie? And the frozen chocolate bananas? I think I would have liked the brownie by itself without the additional stuff.

The Chipotle Pecan Pie was difficult to eat, to the point where I couldn't finish it. And for me to not finish a dessert is a huge thing! I'm sorry Paggi House, some of your dishes just don't make sense to me. And the price for the portions received is a bit ridiculous. Or we can just say my taste buds don't agree with what's on your menu.

A shell of what this place used to be, Paggi House gutted it's once historic interior in favor of a more modern, Dallas-esque scene. Menu prices have also gone up and gone are the days of Sunday chicken-and-waffles brunch buffet. Bring your wallet and dress to the nines.

Paggi House is a bit expensive, but they have a decent brunch buffet and good drinks. Check it out during happy hour for more reasonable prices.

Food here is terrific. For a bargain, go during Restaurant Week. Also hear they have an amazing brunch, can't wait to try it!

Crazy overpriced, service was bad and the food was mediocre at best.

This place has really lost its appeal. It USED to have an awesome buffet, but now it's just overpriced food in a cool location. I don't recommend it anymore...unless of course they bring back the Sunday brunch buffet. Whoever thought to take that away was some sort of marketing genius /sarcasm
