Treated like family! I went to see the Outboard Shop to ask them to look at my SeaRay when I was making the decision to purchase it. From the moment that I entered their shop, Bambi treated me like her family. They gave me great advice and offered several suggestions to me since I was new to boat ownership.

Since then, I return to see them every time I service my boat. The hospitality I receive from Bambi and Kenny continues to be amazing as is the great service they provide to my boat. Any question or issue that I have, they strive to resolve. On my most recent visit, I brought to them a complex request that they (literally) bent over backwards to meet. Always at a fair price.

I count Bambi and Kenny as two of the reasons that I am glad to have moved to South Florida.

Thank you so much!

I ve been taking my boat here for a few years now. The staff has always treated us like family - so much so they have pictures of my kids with their catches on the wall!

Case in point - my lower unit suffered from some water intrusion due to fishing line destroying the seals. The Outboard Shop stepped up to the plate and had Mercury send a brand new lower unit. And then they turned around and helped me upgrade to a heavy duty version with a nominal upcharge.

This is just one example of the continued excellent customer support that they ve always provided me. I ve got so many more stories - trailer, standard service and most recently redoing some pumps.

Buying a boat is easy, but finding a mechanic who is honest, does quality work and treats you like the only person in their client list isn t. Thank you very much guys!

Kenny and the entire staff and the best. They figured out and fixed a problem with my boat that 2 other shops could not figure out. Fast, reliable and most important, HONEST! I drive from Pembroke Pines and would not have anyone else work on my engine. Simply the best.

I brought in my boat which I had repowered with a used Verado and new controls. The team reviewed the rigging, programmed the new controls and gave me a full explanation on how to care for the new equipment. They were especially helpful and forthcoming with information. They squeezed me into a busy schedule and I was in and out within a day.

Having spent my entire life in So. Florida, and having my boat serviced at MANY different outboard shops... I have finally found "THE OUTBOARD SHOP"! Their above and beyond attitude, coupled with sincere integrity, made my experience very positive. They have an ability to communicate and discuss their approach to your vessel, that makes the repair or service, a simple decission. At the counter, you can get all of your questions answered, and advice that you know comes from years of Mercury Experience. In the shop, you can go deeper into "how & why" your rigging or power unit was functioning, or not-functioning, and a proper approach to your best performance. They make the simple things, as well as the complex things seem like priorities, and that's a value, that customers can/should, really appreciate in todays business atmosphere. They have earned my trust and my future service!!

The outboard shop has been the place to go for parts and service since I was fourteen years old. They treat you fairly and try to work to your needs. They usually have every part you would need, in stock. Most places don't have parts on stock like they do. I can't even remember ever having to order a part. Urgency is a big thing when your motors have issues. Always customer friendly. Great people! Great service! There is a reason they have been around so long. Go see Bambi and Kenny for all your Mercury outboard needs!

Bambi, Gene, Kenny and Chris are fantastic to work with. We have re-powered with them, done routine service and corrected some "owner errors". Through it all they have been professional, efficient, and fun. The quality of work and advice is top notch. We will continue to trust our boat to this team and highly recommend them to others.

I'm not one to write a review, being good or bad, and I think this may be my first. So I'll try to make this as short, and to the point ae possible.
These folks and the Outboard Shop areare Bomb.
Great ownership, and a very professional staff that stands behide there work.
I had a very odd electrical problem with my 2006 25 Mercury. Drove is all nuts and, if I went into anymore details this would turn into a book.
Bottom line is, they fixed it!
I still can't believe it but it now runs better than new.

Use these folks for all your Outboard/Boat needs, trust me you'll be in Great Hands and you will be dealing with the most honest and professional group of people I have had the pleasure of dealing with in years.

An honest, reliable and diligent outboard mechanic shop. Bambi and Kenny will take care of your outboard troubles. I had a difficult issue to diagnose with a 225 opti however Kenny was able to track down the problem and solve it. They kept me informed along every step of the way. Can t suggest them highly enough.

I Love this place. They are always very helpful. I work many hours and service my own boat. Which means i send my wife to pick up my parts. She has no clue about boats being in the medical field. When she goes there they can not be more helpful. And let me mention that they know Mercury inside and out. From the owner on down. I own a 21' paramount powered by a 250xs and It's always a pleasant experience dealing with the Outboatd Shop.

This sounds like they hired a professional rebuttal artist to Mr huffers review from what I understand these folks are actually all about doing whatever it takes to make a buck not make your vessel safe I would take my my boat to the Cuban raft rigging company before trusting this place with my boatmeaning my family's well being on the water

Cant say enough about Bambi, Kenny and Chris at the Outboard Shop. As a first time boat owner they have put my mind at ease with their knowledge, honesty, and accessibility. They take the time to help you understand exactly what is going on with your boat and engines. No job has been to small or too large for them to accomplish quickly and effectively. While I'm sure there are cheaper options out there , cheaper isn't necessarily better, the quality of work and level of detail for the price will be unmatched. They make sure to keep you update on what needs to be done and what can wait. I wouldn't take my boat anywhere else. Their relationship with mercury doesn't hurt either as anything under warranty gets fixed immediately.

Appalling experience..... I spent $20k in their shop $15k of which was labor. It took them four months to do two weeks of work. When I received my boat back it was missing numerous items they claimed were still on the boat. I was billed for "meetings" and "systems checks." I've owned three boats and have never been billed for a shop checking their own work or meeting about a project. Even after all of that I ONLY WANTED TOP QUALITY WORK and I received a boat back with not only irritating issues but three major safety issues as a direct result of the work they performed. After all their guarantees of being "perfectionists" and "that they've been around 40 years." I now find myself paying to having their work taken apart and redone to have a fully functioning and safe boat again.

UPDATE 4/11/2016
DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR STATEMENTS ABOUT ME PRAISING THE SERVICE I RECEIVED. NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH AS I AWAIT MY DAY IN COURT AGAINST THEM. I WAS GROSSLY OVER BILLED, MY BOAT HELD FOR MANY MONTHS, THEN GIVEN BACK TO ME IN UNSEAWORTHY CONDITION! I HAD THE PLEASURE OF BEING INJURED, PAYING A SECOND TIME TO HAVE THE VAST MAJORITY OF THEIR SHODDY WORK REDONE, AND NOW A TON IN LEGAL EXPENSES. I HAVE ALL THE PAPERWORK INCLUDING THEIR CONDESCENDING EMAILS DENYING ANY AND ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING IN A DISGUSTINGLY INSULTING FASHION, NOT QUITE IN LINE WITH THE IMAGE THEY PROJECT. IN BUSINESS WE ALL HAVE CHALLENGES BUT HOW YOU STEP UP FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS IS WHAT MATTERS. ALL OF THEIR BILLS WERE PAID IN FULL, EVEN FOR THE "MEETINGS" I WAS BILLED FOR AND $1500 FOR MY BOAT SITTING ON THEIR OWN TRAILER WHILE THEY WORKED ON IT CHARGING ME $15K IN LABOR. ANYONE THAT DOUBTS ME IS WELCOME TO EMAIL ME FOR COPIES OF THE PAPERWORK AND EMAILS. I MAY JUST MAKE A WEBSITE DETAILING MY TRANSACTION SHORTLY SO IT'S EASY FOR ALL OUT THERE TO SEE AND BEWARE. I FIND IT INTERESTING THAT THE MAJORITY OF THEIR POSITIVE REVIEWS ON GOOGLE COME FROM PEOPLE THAT ONLY HAVE EVER REVIEWED ONE BUSINESS AND THAT ONE BUSINESS IS THE OUTBOARD SHOP....

Good honest people. This was my first time here and I drove from Pembroke Pines because of all the good things I heard. It was worth the drive, it's hard to find honest people in South Florida, especially a mechanic. Bambi and Kenny were nice and spend the time to explain things and they quoted me $1200 for a job and the final price was $1201! Keep up the good work guys, I will definitely be back.

Bambi, Kenny, and Gene are the best! The crew of technicians are the best in the Mercury outboard world here in South Florida. Prices are always good and they take care of me like Family from the day I started buying parts from them. Since I am a DYI guy when it comes to my boat they know my capabilities and will shoot me straight if they think I can do the repair myself. Whenever I am in a pinch though they are there to save me from the things I have limited knowledge of. If you have a Mercury 2-Stroke or 4 Stoke and want a great place to feel at home go see these guys they are top notch, friendly, and professional. Thanks Guys!!

These guys are outstanding! The best part about this shop is the people, extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The only place i'll take my boat to, they tuned up my old Mercury and got her running like new, and recently sold me an Optimax 225! The Outboard Shop isn't one of those places to rip you off and make a quick buck, they will fix your boat right and you will be an Outboard Shop customer for life. The one stop shop for all your outboard needs with a great atmosphere! Thank you guys for everything!
