Great place. Good rooms. Cavelossim beach is bang opposite and walkable. Only drawback is pure veg restaurant although breakfast is good

Excellent resort beautifully located between cavlossin beach and sal riverfront. Nice cottages, lawns and green spaces. Best choice for those who are pure vegetarian , but non veg eaters can also have great meals on shack's right across the road. Big pool, TT carrom room and in-house disco (sadly being a beach side resort no one was in the disc at night ). Economy tarrifs and much better value for money than closeby hotels which are expensive.

Please please Never visit this resort.

If you ask for a water bottle in room, minimum time taken shall be 30 minutes only after calling them twice or thrice.
They have very nice location, but they do not know how to serve customers.
Worst resort and worst service ever.

Its was great experience in property....we had booked standerd room but room was very uncomfortable and compact so we asked them to upgrade our room Mr.faiz,Mr.ajay and Mr.soni form Mumbai assisted us for room upgradation even restaurant staff is also very polite.its my humble suggestion to hotel management hotel property is very huge just need to maintain properly like old window air conditioner should be replace with new one and bathroom pipe line also need to updrade...hope in next visit we will get all upgraded facilities....best of luck and thank you so much

for its price norms. if the entrance door to the room is new then everything will be ok with the number.

Worth every penny. The location is best in entire goa. Staff is very good. Best part is it is just besides the river and 50 metres from the best beach of Goa, Cavelossim beach.

Like the name says, its old and not in great shape, but there's a great beach right across the road and backwaters behind the property, good for large groups but avoid if you are only one small family

I don't know....I spot blood in the bathroom . That was un expected. But the food was really nice.

As far as my knowledge goes, it's the only pure veg resort in Goa with a huge Lake as well as a beach on its both sides and that to at a walkable distance. Food is good too.

Very old resort nothing is there only near to beach

The number of rooms is terrible: there is nothing in common with advertising photos. In the restaurant (by the way, it is completely vegetarian, but this is a feature, not a disadvantage) only plastic dishes. Only the location of the hotel is 5+, therefore, it gave an overall rating of 3.

It's really spread out and have lots of cottages.. Good for marriage and big events. Room quality needs little improvement though

Visited as a guest in the Echo restaurant for lunch just today. We were entertaining friends from California, and enjoyed our ocean side table. We chose to stay indoors - to enjoy the air conditioning . I just want to say that, in addition to a nice meal, we had a delightful waitress, Jackie. She had just the right balance of friendliness and efficiency. She recognized that we wanted time to visit and did not rush us. She and other staff members made certain that we had everything we needed. Kudos!
Spent 3 nights at this resort earlier this month and it was a great stay! We paid for an upgrade to the oceanfront cabana, which was worth the price. The beach views, calm ocean and ability to watch the sunset on our patio were highlights of the trip! The hotel restaurant was exceptional, not only because every meal we enjoyed had a variety of options and was flavorful but also because the prices were so reasonable for an oceanfront resort! The entire island and resort were a lot more laid back and calm than other touristy coastal front towns in the southeast, but that may in part due to it being early March. I'd imagine there's a bit more traffic during high seasons, but either way, we'll definitely be back! Highly recommended!

Could be better. Washrooms are not so clean. Buffet wasn't available on the day we visited.

A calm place to stay in South Goa. Resort is gifted with scenic view all around.

But the worst hospitality i have ever experienced. The management is incapable of providing the basic amenities we need in a room viz A/c there but non functional, shower there but non functional, geyser is present but again non functional etc. The staff is negletcant towards service. The management staff ruined the trip to some extent.

Good place,with swimming pool,spa,few indoor games like carrom and table tennis, beach is just opposite to resort where u can take water rides..

Its is one amoung the old resorts in Goa.
Good to stay for ppl who like old formats.
Near to beach walkable.

No Airconditioner working,
Cockroaches in the bedroom,
No TV remote,
No landlines working for room service.
Very disappointed with the Hotel Maintenance.

How's the room they provide us. You can see. Housekeeping service was very bad.i told them to turn on TV in the room they told me TV is not working in very rudly behaviour. I m not happy with the service.

The Byke old anchor resort was booked via make my trip app for family of 8 and four deluxe rooms were provided by hotel for our two nights stay from 15.07.19 to 17.07.19. The property looks old and needs renovations. The resort is very near to beach and river on other side . Rooms are nice, But, decor could have been better. One of our rooms reequired AC repair that was done by staff but we didn't paid for our stay to stand there and monitor their AC repairing . Anyway, the resort has nice swimming pool, a disco, sports room, dining hall etc. The food here is served with care, its amazing, very tasty and pure veg only but really flavorful. The problem with the resort is it has stray dogs freely roaming around in its complex everywhere, one dog bit my brother inlaw on hand near main gate and the security gaurd did not even try to do anything but kept mum. We had to hire a cab to take my brother in law to hospital for his treatment and vaccinations and the hospital was far away from resort in south goa and the cab costed us a lot. We complained about problem of stray dogs to hotel reception staff and told them to atleast call concerned authorities to catch that particular black dog that can attack other humans as we were having two small kids with us, but, that problem was not solved and during our entire stay at the resort 15-16 stray dogs were freely roaming around inside resort premises including that black dog that bit my brother in law. Overall, our stay was nice. But, the resort management need to keep the stray dogs away and out of its premises.

Real good stay for friends as well as family.

Reception is very poor, no hospitality. Most pain full thing is check in. They treat you like they are providing stay for free.

It's good.It should be renovated. Looks old. Not so bad but not as luxurious as the other resorts. Only benefit is it's close to the beach. And it's very good for VEGETARIANS. It's PURE VEG. Staff is very cooperative and very good.

I visited this resort last week and I'm writing my honest review on my visit. I did check the reviews of the previous visitors before I checked-in into this hotel. In the reply they are saying to each customer that they will provide 5 star like service on next visit. I was under the impression that things have improved and I won't experience the same in my first visit. When I was completing check in process on my first day, I noticed that staff is murmuring about something, I knew something was fishy at that time but I was told that everything is fine but soon they approached me and offered my luxirous suit stay because of some issue which they didn't tell us.

But the what the said about the luxirous suite and actual condition was completely different. Room was right at the end of hotel, nice view but very old furniture,broken switches, malfunctioned taps and we were provided with extra bunk beds for 2 guests. Room was big but very old and stinky, seems it was closed for years. We immediately approached reception and asked to change the rooms immediately. Thanks to Mr.Ajay who promised to change our rooms next day and offered complementary dinner for all of us.

Somehow we spent that night in that room and next day when I approached the reception for room change, I was shocked the way two ladies at reception treated me that day, forget the sign of regret but they hardly even attended me and immediately shown me door of thier managers cabin. At that point, I felt like I made mistake by accepting thier terms last night. Those ladies were so rude and they hardly even know how to interact with customer, may be they are just racist towards Indian customers. Ok, I said to myself and I entered in their manager room. Now Mr. Jack talking to me and telling how did he do me a favor by giving me thier so called luxirous suite last night, his expressions were clear that he did not bother about the situation in which they had put us in , when I was talking he cut me in between and started talking on his phone. I immediately left the room with disappointed but as expected Mr. manager was least bothered about it.

Thanks to Mr. AJAY who personally handled this matter immediately when his shift started. We were immediately shifted to new clean and nice rooms without any further hassle.

Three for Mr Ajay, new rooms and restaurant inside. I'm taking away two star because of the receiption staff and thier manager.

Place is right between River and Beach, perfect place to spend time in South Goa, nice beach shacks on beach to spend evening time.Market is near for shopping.

Hai we were 6 families went to this resort from Oct 13th to 16th 2018 , property is huge no doubt about it and greenery surrounded . but the the fact is rooms are very small standard rooms what is been showed in pictures are not the way they are , maintenance is very poor . there is only sufficient space for one person to move around , during the check in some of our booked rooms fungus smell was issue and we had to change rooms , another room AC was not working they had to change the room , after all that plumbing lines are so bad the bathroom washbasin water was not flowing easily ,from next day , there was no water coming continuously 2 days morning we had to literally quarrel with the management and burrow buckets of water from other rooms. management team was only telling us stories and said us this is being taken care. only then we realized there were lot many guests who were complaining before us on the water issue. this is a pure vegetarian resort assuming in Goa resort will be definitely non vegetarian we booked and only after reaching resort we got to know it is vegetarian. I must say food is very good if ordering in restaurant, If it is break fast then there is a problem again team does not know how to manage the crowd , no much items for BF, if coffee is there sugar is not there , cups and plates will not be there you have to wait , no refilling will b done in the counters . Over all experience in this resort was not good . staffs are polite and friendly. not a pleasant stay

Very poor service. Delay in almost every service. Local Tour from hotel booking is managed so badly, haffazardly and with carelessness in irresponsible manner.
