I can't say enough about our sales agent, Karla Pichardo! She is awesome. We walked in not looking like your typically well-dressed Neiman Marcus shoppers. (It's chill out Saturday! ) She greeted us with a cheerful hello and smile then quickly began to assist us. Yes, she was wearing a mask but there was no mistaking her enthusiastic smile underneath. We spent double what we planned. She is knowledge, patient and friendly. In a world filled with mediocre customer service experiences, Karla is definitely in a league of her own! You should pay her a visit....

I Purchased $350 dollars of hourglass cosmetics online. I loved everything except a $42 dollar item that just didn t match my skin color. When I tried to process a return. They said they only accept unopened items. What?! Should have bought it at Sephora or directly from Hourglass. Never expected this from them and I didn t read the fine lines because my intention wasn t to return anything. Wow!

They do not stand behind the products they sell. The first time I had an issue with a product which happened to be a $900 pair of Louboutin shoes I was told it was past a year and offered nothing for what is clearly a defect. If you're purchasing $900 shoes then you clearly aren't wearing them everyday. I had my original receipt, box in addition to a purchase history with multiple luxury bags and shoes. They could care less about keeping my business I'll never shop at a Neiman Marcus again.

I enjoy shopping at Neiman Marcus located in McLean. Especially I like their dress and cashmere collection. And it is definitely true that Christy Johnson is the best member of Neiman Marcus. Because of her exceptional service, I try to buy as much as possible in Neiman Marcus in McLean.

I purchased a Pair of Dior shoes in mid August. I was 8.5 months pregnant then. I went to exchange the shoes since I hadn t worn them and wanted to get something with a higher heal. They said their return policy is 30 days and since I m almost 2 months out from the purchase date even though they still have the same style at the store and shoes are untouched I will not be able to return or exchange them. Mind you I m a regular shopper at this store. Either way I explained to the manger that I had given birth I m early September and couldn t have made it, he rolled his eyes and pretty Much said too bad you are over the 30 day. He might as well have stuck his tongue out at me like a 3 year old.

I m any event I m not going to spend another penny at this establishment given their backwards return/exchange policy that can t even do anything, I guess I should have ran right back after giving birth.

I assume they can behave like this given there plenty of new money in this area.

horrible customer service. They were absolutely lovely when I was purchasing but once I had a problem another story. Nasty and condescending. I will NEVER shop there again. The manager behaved like he was doing me a favour by allowing me to shop at his empire. To bad he does not realize how business works.

Rude sales associate blatantly watched my friend and I and immediately swooped and stood super close to us to ask us if we "needed assistance" after we took a close look at an expensive jacket. No thank you, I'd rather spend my money at a store where my personal space isnt encroached and where I'm not profiled.

OMG, the sales people here are so arrogant and rude. Excuse me, I have money to buy things, and you should want to be super polite for me to want to spend some of that money in your store. But no, the NM approach at Tyson's is to be arrogant, haughty and rude with customers. When I complained to a manager about my bad experience, the manager also tried to make me feel like I was the problem. I guess this is the new America where the expectation is to spend a lot of money without any expectation for solid customer service? Won't be back.

Horrible customer service! All the ladies at the fine jewelry section were standing around not a single person greeted me throughout the store. This is not the first time every time, every time I go there with my sister we see the same associates on their phone none of these employees care about the customers. These ladies work in retail and act like they are in some upper-class job

Bought a suit from another store and needed some ideas for dress shirts and ties to go with it. While looking at the men's shirt and tie section, a friendly sales associate Mark came and offered to help. I was impressed by his choices. He put together 2 shirt/tie combinations for my grey suit that looked amazing. I appreciate Mark who was professional, thoughtful, and creative.

Great selection, beautiful location. However, customer service is 0. Employees are very rude and disrespectful. I now understand why Neiman Marcus stores are closing. I will never spend my money in that location. I felt bad when D.C location was closing ... it was my first time there at that location...and believe me, unless I have an online return, I won't set foot in there . I was really shocked with their service. It's sad to see how many people are loosing their jobs, but looking at the kind of service I was offered in there, I somehow stop feeling sad. Neiman Marcus, train your sale associate to be kind, regardless of how dirty or poor they look when they come in. You never know ! Customers should be treated very nicely and with respect .

meh the service is so so.. what makes a store great, is not so much the merchandise but the people who are there to assist you.. the ladies at the cosmetic sections are not what they used to be before in a nice department store. If you ask them the price of an item of a small area that they are in charge of, you expect them to know the price, since they are there all day, they can check the prices, but they say oh let me check the price.. they don't seem genuinely interested in you, they just want to make a sale. Not impressed at all. I went to different counters and at some counters, the sales lady did not even look at me, she continued chatting with a friend, like I was not there. If I was the boss she would be fired. Maybe they don't pay them well but still they don't have any passion or pride in what they do..

I recently went to this Neaman Marcus to buy a Dior powder foundation that i have been using for years. The Dior cosmetics person recommended a different shade which I quickly declined. The next thing, she started applying a test powder on my face. It took me off guarded, and ended rather quickly before i even figure out what to say. She never asked a permission from me. I felt it was invasive and disrespectful. At the end she said you re right it is the shade . I knew what i wanted, and didnt need or ask anyone s opinion or help. The worst part was her make up brush! It smelled like a rotten egg, and i could smell it from my face even after i left the store. I had to go home and clean my face. Neiman Marcus: train your cosmetics people to wash their makeup brush regularly. Please train them not to touch customer s face or force unwanted makeup without customer s oral permission.

An utterly disappointing experience. I went into the men s department to buy shoes. There were four gentleman(and I use that term loosely) working in the area. As I approached them I could hear their conversation. It was about Will Smith and Jada Pinkett, and the cheating scandal. I approached one associate who was with another customer. He flags down a second guy to look up the size that I need. You d have thought that I requested he give me his kidney. He was very dismissive when I told him my size range. If you ve ever purchased high fashion shoes, you know that the designers run in a wide variety of sizes. A Louis Vuitton 11, is not the same as a Gucci 11. He returns to tell me that the shoe is sold out. Then just walks away as I m asking him a question about another shoe. How rude of me to inconvenience him by asking a question. Perhaps if I had engaged in the Will/Jada conversation I might have been able to get an answer. Neiman Marcus has clearly lost its luxury cache. It s more like an amusement park for clout chasing, looky loo, Instagrammers. It s very clear why the company is bankrupt.

Horrible service. Another customer and I stood in the middle of their retail space, both wanting help to purchase an item that we needed. We ended up remarking how the sales clerks were all talking and laughing and joking with one another and not helping either of us. I left the store without making any purchases and will purchase at another merchant.
