Myer's Castle

Just back from a beautiful family wedding weekend at Myres Castle. Everything was perfect. The staff were so good at making themselves scarce so you felt you had the place to yourself. They were also very much on hand if needed. The food was lovely and the staff so approachable. The dinner on Friday night was Chicken in a tomato and olive sauce. I'm very fussy about chicken and it was perfect, followed by a sticky toffee pudding to die for. We had continental breakfast on Saturday and cooked breakfast on Sunday. Both were wonderful. We were blessed to have beautiful weather which made the castle even more amazing as the wedding ceremony could take place outside. The grounds were outstanding to relax in with drinks while the grooms had their photos done. The Barnquee was so beautiful. Although it seems silly to mention the toilets behind the Barnquee, they were lovely. A truly stunning venue and unforgettable stay.

We had our wedding at Myres on July 13, 2019 and stayed in the castle the entire weekend. From check-in to check-out we experienced nothing less than impeccable service. Henry was incredibly attentive, the venue is absolutely stunning, the rooms where our family stayed were each unique and original historic design, and we also lucked out on the weather being amazing. I can't recommend this venue enough. The pictures speak for themselves of how happy we were and Henry and his team made everything seem effortless. The natural beauty of the venue is what attracted us to it and waking up the morning after with our entire family made it feel like Christmas Day. Thank you to everyone involved with our wedding! It was a blast!

Beautiful, stunning place. Had the privilege to be invited there for a wedding and I was absolutely struck by the property and the quality of the food provided. A big thank you to all the staff!

We were married at Myres Castle on the 25th March 17. It was the most fantastic weekend we have ever had. The castle, and whole venue were stunning. We were so well looked after: It was the perfect mix of help wherever we needed, but plenty of privacy so it felt like our own venue for the whole weekend. Excellent breakfast and lunch options provided by Henry and Amanda in the castle before the wedding meal. Everyone loved the weekend so much, and the only problem is that we want to do the whole thing again next week!

We spent the weekend at Myers for my son's wedding recently. From arriving Friday afternoon till departing on Sunday morning we were looked after so well. Henry and Amanda have created the perfect mix, the luxury of a grand hotel and the personal touch of your favourite bed and breakfast.
This is a magnificent wedding venue.
