Hadn't been in a long time. Remembered it as being the place to go for wings. But I can't remember why. $25 for 12 wings is not at all good value. The wings were ok, but nothing special. Certainly not worth the steep price tag. Service was fast and friendly, and they had all the games on the many TV's. Decent selection of draught and bottles.

The patio is currently open, all staff are wearing masks, using disposable cutlery and containers for sauces. They are using a giant Wall menu instead of handing out paper ones. They take down your information before seating you. They are handling the pandemic well, and minimizing risks of transmission

Morty's is always amazing! Big and spacious tons of TVs usually playing whatever big games are on. In summer the Patio is one of the best in the University/King area. Food is always top notch and there is no compromise on portion or quality, and prices are really reasonable. Their Tex-mex or All-Dressed fries and their massive Burger are must tries. Good selection of beers on tap (wish they had Guiness though). If you play PoGo, the Pub itself is a Stop!

One tip: BRING YOUR ID. You could walk in looking like Michael Caine and still get ID'd- part of being in the universities area.

Came in especially for the wings. Loved them. Wet Cajun, and Sweet Chili Thai. Service was quick, professional, polite, and frankly.... gorgeous!
Owner, Pat, came over and asked me how the wings were, and then shook my hand in the firm way my grandfather would have appeciated. I AM IMPRESSED. My visit was a Sunday at 2pm.

I've always loved the wings here and have eaten in many many times. Last week I ordered take out wings and was saddened to see that by the time I got them home they had gone from crispy to soggy (due to the sweating of the wings inside the styrofoam take-out container. Next time (and oh yes... there WILL be a next time) I will request that they put a few napkins inside the box with the wings to soak up the moisture. The wings taste MUCH better crunchy.

Came here after dinner one night while in town on a business trip. The ambiance was good and the service was fine. Had a beer and a small amount of wings, which were really delicious. We actually tried to come back the following day on a Thursday, which is their wing special day, but the place was too packed to get a table.

The atmosphere at Morty's was very nice, although I can't say I stayed to enjoy it. The staff here provided phenomenal service and clearly care about customer satisfaction.
I ordered the smoked meat poutine. I found the gravy to be rather bland and lacking in quantity. The fries were standard fare, but could use a bit more seasoning to make up for the gravy. The smoked meat was delicious. I cannot see myself ordering this dish here again.
However, as I said before, the service was excellent. I am more than willing to stomach run-of-the-mill food from such a friendly place.
You cannot order their specials to go, which I found to be disappointing but unsurprising.

Generally a good atmosphere but upset last time I was here we walked past an entire section of empty tables for 7 of us to cram into a single booth in the back corner. I felt embarrassed after telling friends from out of town it a great place to go with a crowd.

Best wings in town. Period. Hands down. You can't go wrong here and both management and the staff are fantastic. If you haven't been here and you like a good chicken wing Morty's is the place to go.

Hot tip: if you prefer wing tips or drums you can order your batch of wings as all tips or drums. I haven't been to another place that gives you this option before.

Huge wings but dry Cajun was bland. Reasonable pricing but they charge extra for everything. Ranch dip for wings was extra. Coke for rye was $0.22 extra. Strange ways to make up for the cost of cheaper wings. Don't like being "nickel and dimed" when I eat. Just advertise the price of the meal or drink with the cost of reasonable sides like coke for my rye.

Chicken wings are pretty good but the fries were cold and the battered mushrooms are not for me. They are huge pices larger than the wings....and mushy and have an awful spice covered after cooking on the batter. And it comes with a spicy mayo also not flavoured to my liking.....I prefer just ordinary batter button mushrooms with ranch dip.
