Prices are sky high....and the shipping plus tax is almost half of the purchase price.
I bought a $20 cap which could be stuck in a padded envelope and sent regular mail for $5 or less. Instead I was charged $7.50 shipping plus $1.15 tax.
Neither Amazon nor eBay charge such exorbitant shipping rates nor do their online vendors charge tax.
I hope the House gets at least a portion of the $28.65 I spent because I am an unhappy Morehouse Man after that transaction.

I made three visits to the store,which is observing covid rules,which is great,but the store phone number is straight to voice mai,l and no way of reaching anyone..At last a security guard gave me a new number,which I had to wait on a return call to retrieve my items. This has been a purchase I made in November, and it has taken til today to get these items.Not happy with the service.Hopefully,the next person has a better experience..There is a really urgent need to fix the problems there..It makes it hard to be financially supportive of HBCU.This phone system needs to be addressed immediately.
Love this independent book store. I could browse here for hours. The staff is super helpful and will order any book they don't have in stock. Don't forget to go downstairs to browse the used books. I have found some real gems down there!

Mr. Hughes keeps the bookstore stocked and maintained extremely well! The customer service is phenomenal and the staff is well trained.
