Went there to see the David Copperfield performance, did not stay at the hotel but walked through and it was beautiful. The Copperfield show was fantastic and highly entertaining and mesmerizing with very comfortable seating, individual tables with four seats per table and some booths.
We went over to the MGM for dinner at their buffet and were extremely disappointed. We then went back the next day to see "KA", one of the Cirque du Soleil shows there and although they had some great acrobats it was a bit slow and hard to follow. Several people fell asleep. I was one.... Maybe i...
Very poor check in experience...you would have thought we were the first guests to ever arrive on an early flight. I can understand the room not being ready at 9:00am (although the six people that checked in in front of us at no problem) but It would have been nice to have some guidance from the fro...
They are taking the virus very serious. You could smell the bleach in the air which for me and my OCD was awesome!!!! Security was very serious about entering the hotel and elevators with mask on! I had no problems with the way MGM handled the seriousness of covid-19.
It's the MGM, staff is always great and very helpful, always feels very lively. If you're looking for a penthouse suite theirs are really nice but I'd say Bellagio's are better. Shows are good as well but not the best on the strip. Location on the strip is perfect however. My favorite for gambling.
Update August 2019: a large casino hotel conveniently located on the strip with lots of amenities. Rooms are clean, large and well kept and the staff is helpful and friendly. Room charges are not fully disclosed when booking. Be prepared to pay a daily resort fee, other fees and taxes.
Although they are doing their best, the place isn't covid ready and should be closed. The walls are so very thin, which makes it very hard to sleep. Food is also very expensive and not very good.
MGM Grand is centrally located. We arrived only to find a long line of guests registering. The MGM Grand rooms are ample, clean, offering great service. The hotel had several night shows, and we selected to attend one.The room service was superb, as we chose to have breakfast delivered to our room. T...
Just checked in. Wallpaper pealing in our room. Long black hair everywhere (we are both blonde). Half-emty bottle of booze in one of the drawers. Yet....there was a "freshly cleaned" sticker on our door jamb when we got here. Not impressed.
Terrible experience, the hotel service is bad and expensive, the suits are dirty the same with the bathroom, I found female and male hairs in the beds and the bathroom. I asked for extra blankets and towels and never received them, The receptionists are very serious and do not know how to treat the ...
Place is a good hotel but I didn't recieve a skyline view even though I payed for it. The place is huge but all bars are closed and most restaurants are too. They put us in the west wing which is the worst part of the hotel but overall it wasn't that bad. The food court was super pricey but what can...
Older casino on the strip, lots of music pumping through loudspeakers, cigarette smoke and casino noise. There are still nice shows and tries to stay decent, but getting increasingly old by comparison to some newer offerings like Venetian, Wynn, etc
Great location..on the Vegas Strip and very near to Airport. Easy check in and check out process. Great rooms, but not all can have a good view :) (The room view in the pic shared is from 20th floor of 'Grand' wing) Not much free perks unlike expected ;) Very good restaurants and great pool, especia...
The hotel has aged somewhat well since the 90s. While not as fancy as other places mid Strip, the MGM grand remains one of the nicest hotels on the south side of the Strip. The movie studio theme seems a bit dated and would perhaps be better updated. The pool remains one of the best on the strip.
Could be better for the price. Only one plug for phones on bedside table. We moved the chair and there was a (wine?) stain on the floor. Plenty of restaurants and a food court in the facility. Right on the Las Vegas strip. Very large and requires a lot of walking. You have to rent the refrigerator a...
Wow! I would need to have a whole travel blog to describe this hotel! Many delicious restaurants, monorail access, luxurious rooms, theatre shows, personal amenities and all the gambling machines you could want to play! No wonder this hotel is famous!
The food and drink service at the pool is horrible. Our waitress Lori W is very rude. We asked her for lemons for out water 5 times and even after we left her a decent tip. We wont be coming back to stay at this hotel. Which is pretty sad cause this was my favorite hotel. My mom and her husband play...
Only played in the casino. We got a few good payouts and the casino was clean. There also was a lot of cocktail waitresses walking around. We went on a Tuesday in the day so I would think it would normally bad payouts and hardly any waitresses. Was really happy.
Jabawakkees show was amazing. Got you into the vibe as soon as you entered the theater. Casino kind of dark in need of some major renovations. The Wolfgang Puck restaurant was amazing. My wife and I are big pasta fans, and we both say that it was some of the best pasta we have had anywhere.
The room service, hotel rooms, and staff make you forget where it's situated on the Strip. Although it's at the very beginning of the strip and the walks can be long, they pamper you here.
Obviously this is a high end place, but they didn t let me in with my classy fedora which always comes even with my business attire. They asked me to check that in due to their dress code. However, I expected the rules to be for everyone, but when I stepped in I saw different people with caps and ...
Extremely understaffed, took me 45 minutes just to get checked in and there were only 40 people in line. It's a massive resort but they only have three people working check in during the evening.
Our room was in oldest part of hotel that was run down. Long walk down hallway to elevator. Our view was a wall, there was no coffee, refrigerator etc...When we tried to use the stairway, we were led to a rooftop, with no way to get back inside as the doors locked. Brought this to the attention of s...
On arrival, we decided to upgraded our room which turned out to be fabulous. We were in room 118 on the 10th floor in the tower wing and watched the sun rise at 5am every morning through the enormous wall to wall and floor to ceiling window. Our house keeper Maria was exceptional every day. I would ...
Nice time. You have to wear your mask. Machines and tables very tight. But, that was expected since Vegas was closed for so long. No shows. Strip about 60% open.
Very modern and luxurious feel hotel. Giving it 1 less star because there's not much to do in the hotel except gamble, drink, or club. I don't drink so that doesnt help me. Also if you want a snack at night not much options for food and to get to the food is a bit of a trek.
Went to Bocelli concert there. They don't know how to handle getting the audience in and out. It was horrible. The concert started 30 minutes late because people were still trying to get in. Getting out was just as big a bottle neck.
It's one of my favorite places that I go to play poker and have fun with my friends and it's just very well done beautiful place I would definitely recommend it
I had an awesome stay at MGM Grand. Super comfortable beds - perfect stiffness, large choice of TV shows, and they have something in their shower head that looks orange, I don t know what it is, but I enjoyed my bathing experience.
The rooms were nice the casino was fun but all of the casino workers were extra rude not just the workers at the tables but also the waitresses staff in general was really really rude here
Very friendly concierge and front desk staff. The casino was a big draw for us and did not disappoint. Rooms in the North Tower could do with a reno but we pretty much only slept there so it wasn't a huge deal.
We only stay for one night. The whole overall experience is good. We felt safe with the cleaned room indicator when we checked in. There is a complimentary purell hand sanitizer 2 masks and 2 metal door thingy if you don't want to touch any surface of the door. We spent an hour on the lazy river. Th...
I didn't stay at the Hotel but all the other amenities were great. The restaurant's were fabulous. The conference I was attending was great. Hope to be back next year.
The casino was good. The first room they put us in smelled of marijuana, we immediately walked out and back to the front desk. They we're very helpful and put us in a new room in the grand tower. The bed wasn't very comfortable, our room was facing the airport, it was quite loud at all hours. The sh...
Rooms here are above average and the bed was comfortable. Monorail begins here and is convenient for getting around. Casino is expansive with a good variety of games. Dining options range from casual to upscale. Location is south on the strip. Many other attractions are some distance away.
I stayed in West Wing Tower. It was pathetic, rooms were very outdated, nothing was good about that. Resort is okay didn't use it since I was on business trip, but it looked very ordinary. They are good conference hosting capability. I will not stay there if I go back to Vegas, rather I will go insi...
There are hotels down the strip that is much better than this one. I've been to this hotel twice and nothing amazing. It's a good hotel, but don't expect anything with a "Wow" factor. Good choices of food though which I factored in my rating as well.
Very nicy place....love coming there. Good restaurants, nice foods. Staff is very friendly. Only the long walk from the parking garage is a downside plus the smell of smoke in the casino
