Great place to see all the ruins and totally feel like you've gone back in time! So much history here with great views of the city. Would love to be able to visit here in the evening to take in a sunset. Good bathrooms are hard to come by in Italy but they are nice and clean here.

Like all the monuments of Rome, it is an unmissable visit. From the terrace you can enjoy a view of the forum and the altar of the homeland unforgettable especially in the evening. It is certainly a little-known construction, but also accompanied by an app that allows its historical insight.

It is the oldest supermarket of humanity, created around 100-110 BC.
We were dealing with oil and wine, food, sundries, seafood and agricultural products.
Even in Rome, where there are many old buildings, I think that it will be a particularly old one here.
You can see an image of how products we...

You can view most of this from the outside, and that may be the best option, as the price tag to get inside is rather steep, and isn't included in the "archeology pass" that you can buy for the forum, even though the forum is next door. While I was there the area was under construction, which meant ...

Trajan's markets a 2,000-year-old buildings available to the public, an opportunity not to be missed.

The markets of Trajan is a nice museum, I was there on Tuesday in December and the museum was practically empty, which allowed me to visit it in peace.

To do absolutely!
Although a little expensive (14 but eligible for the Roma Pass), it is a place with very little traffic: everyone focuses on the Roman forum and not on this place. There is nobody !
