This place is a joke do not go here my wife went 2 weeks ago and these people constantly try to scam you out of every penny go down the road to another auto shop

These guys are always SO NICE! They are busy but that's because they are great to work with. Also, they wear masks and have a shaded outside waiting area (safer during COVID).

I went to two other places that said my truck was fine. The drive shaft was making HORRIBLE noises and when they looked at it told me what exactly was the problem (major cracks that could cause it to snap at any moment. How do you miss that?) they quoted me a good low amount to fix it. They showed me where on my truck the problem was and explained everything. They even fixed a few other things for free. Will definitely use them again!

Honest work, fair price, good shop for exhaust work. Manager is a younger guy, but knows his stuff and takes the time to talk to you, unlike most mechanics I've dealt with in the past. Would definitely use them again.

I went for a guarantee and I had to pay for the work completely the first time they polished parts that were not suitable for my truck. they were going to put others at the end they always left the same ones

I went into meineke for the first time, after a man from discount tire referred me to them and was a little unconvinced that they would be able to do form me the other car care places couldn't. I had been riding around price matching various places to see what is wrong with my ac compressor. they all told me the same thing. That my compressor worked just find and they didn't know why it was blowing hot air but to do further investigation is would cost over a hundred dollars for a diagnostic not including them fixing it. Now, for a struggling college students that steep. So i went into meineke thinking i was going to hear the exact same thing. I was wrong. Justin quickly got a guy to look at my compressor and saw that nothing was wrong with it, but he went above and beyond by going under the hood and finding that i was missing something as simple as a fuse. Other mechanics wouldn't dare do that for free and they definitely would've charged me a diagnostic fee first. I was beyond happy because i had been driving around all summer in the houston heat without ac. Something as simple as this made me think that this particular location really has your best interest in mind. I will definitely be returning if other issue arise wont my car because I trust them.

The worst car repair place. completely misdiagnosed the issue with my car. Cheated us for $450. Avoid this place. They refuse to refund the money. The repair work did not even last 10 min. Their business practices are confusing. Ask them to give you estimate in writing on a letter head and not with a pencil on a business card, as they tend to hide stuff verbally. I wish I never took my car there.

For minor car care (oil change, front-end alignment, basic welding, catalytic convertors, etc.), I highly recommend this place. They are 'straight-up', very friendly, and reasonably priced. I've been her a couple of times and have never had a problem. Get there early if you don't have a lot of time (they open at 8am and not 7:30 like the website says). If not, drop your car off and come back when it's ready.

So I came here 8/23/17 Lets begin with making an appointment which was pointless because the very unprofessional and completely rude getleman in the front told me they were just taking them as they come. He then began to rant and rave about the promotions the company were running for veterans day and t-mobile members. Im not sure who he was but he needs a new career he also stated that the shop will try to find something wrong in order to pull in morr money. This guy really needs to watch his mouth in general

Had an oil change, requested check all fluids tires etc. Assumed a service check did all this. Was told they no longer check fluids for liability reasons? Won't go back.

When I need service done on my truck. I always go to Meineke on S.Post Oak because they do i a great job and friendly.

I went to have my Power Steering pump changed, Justin was very honest with me and the price he gave was very reasonable. He did an amazing job and he was done within hours. He takes his relationships with his customers very seriously. And i will definitely be coming back

Honest and great working crew. Thought I had a tire-rod problem and they showed me that my lugnuts were just lose. Brought in my second car and got really good work done on my muffler and hub-assembly. They also SHOWED me where I had other problems, while not once trying to get me to pay for a fix right then. Very knowledgeable about the things the do.

Went in because brakes needed to be replaced tried to rip us off for $600 went to Midas down the road who got us taken care of for half the price. They also had a more accommodating waiting area. Shame.

The most awful experience I've ever had. Was seen as a Target for a break job. One manager told me it would cost me 260.00 to repair my breaks when I went to have them checked. I told him I would be back and when I returned he was out with the flu. Well the other guy in charge could not find the quote the first manager gave me. So he rechecked my brakes and quoted me 800.00 for my brakes. He thought he was talking to a stupid female but I already knew I needed back brakes and rotors. I will never take my vehicle to another Meineke in my life and will let my family and friends know especially the one on South Post Oak.. So sad when people try to take advantage of you not cool at all..

They were courteous and provided prompt service. They honored a coupon that I had for an alignment special. Recommended an additional repair that I needed on my vehicle but they were not pushy to try to make me have it done on the spot. I will bring my vehicle back to them to get my additional repair done. Altogether a good experience.

Management and staff were very professional and at the same time personable, very informative about the work to be done on my vehicle.

I had them order a Magnaflow exhaust for my Yukon XL and install it and install some leveling spacers in my rear springs. Work was done on time for a fair price. I will use them again when the need arises.

Highly recommended for brakes. I really appreciate the friendly, trustworthy atmosphere. I bought them a pair of rotors. They put them on for a low price and now my rotors are quiet again. they did not try to sell me an unnecessary break job like brake check on 610S and Stella link.

Prices are a little high but the upside is a lifetime warranty for the brakes. Service was prompt , professional and friendly and the guys were informative.

great guys fixed my car pretty good and after getting home and found out somethings where still with my car they offered to fix it for me for free, how cool is that definitely my favorite place to take my car too

I had a great experience as this was my first time coming to Meineke. They were professional and timely. Even though they were short staffed at the time they still were able to be efficient. The manager had a welcoming attitude and made my experience a good one.

Great customer service and Mr. T.J. is awesome! I initially had a later appointment but I had to reschedule, so I called Mr. T.J. and he was able to squeeze me in for another time to get my alignment done. My truck is running like new! Thank you so much to the entire Meineke team, you all were very professional and did an amazing job. I recommend anyone to visit them for their car service!

Great shop, fair prices. I snapped a bolt on my alternator and they took me right away, we're honest and fair about pricing and had me out within an hour.

I went to Meineke to get my air conditioner recharged. They recharged it and then several days later the system went empty. I return to Meineke and told them that the system was no longer charge and it needs to be recharged and the store was now Under New Management. We worked out a deal and they recharged it but they charged me $120 to recharge it. So now I'm $200 in. I took my vehicle home again and several days later the system is empty again. I looked in the engine compartment and I could see where all of the freon had leaked out at the charging port because they installed a faulty port. I went back to Meineke and told the manager and he told me that they would charge it again but only charged me 50%. I was not agreeable to that being that this was a result of them installing a faulty part. I told them it was their responsibility to correct this at no charge. We went back and forth and back and forth 4 days until finally they agreed to charge the system again. The management is very unprofessional and their work is shotty. I would not recommend bringing your vehicle to them for any type of maintenance.

They are not upto the mark. I had coupons for AC check and 24 point inspection, but I was given no detail about it.

They have no idea what they doing, sad this place use a franchise name to do so poor job, go ANYWHERE else, can't be worse that here!

Honest and skilled manager, very good mechanics on site. Got a catalytic converter and header manifold replaced, excellent job and price. Will come again. Ask for Justin.

Very unprofessional. Poorly staffed. Made an appointment online and when I got there, the guy said there was no room and no one to work on my car... I caught a peek in the repair room and saw a mechanic eating his lunch as the guy was telling me this. 3 guys working on various things on about 10-12 different cars.

Dishonest business practices and refusal to make right what was done wrong--removal of/voiding warranty of recently repaired/installed computer and charging astronomical price ($1100+) when they can just leave it and tell customer to get the computer replaced under warranty. The computer it was replaced with is basically "junk" and performs the same with a test car with brand new transmission providing evidence. Do not trust these guys - several attempts to talk with manager were ignored all this week. The multiple attempts to obtain accurate information on codes were promised to be delivered and ignored by front office staff. I came in there for evap codes to be fixed which is cheap but this shop came in for the highest ticket sale they could that was unnecessary and a money grab. I am very disappointed in this treatment of a customer who put a car in your hands--until now it cannot work and it came out in worse condition with the computer you installed (reports back it up) than when it came in. This will all be reported.

Great. Alignment was fine. No charge. Seems kinda run down but I'll be back.

My car was in good condition. I had my oil change done here. Now i need my belt replaced. Not going back here.

JT IS BUSY. There were a lot of cars there. He has a great following. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes for an inspection.

They do not care about the customer. I was taken for a total of $1200. Nothing was fixed correctly on my car and services that i did not approve got done. I went back to them and they did nothing to help me. I called HQ and nothing was done. I had to bring my car to another shop to get it fixed. that cost me another $950 but was done correct. Do not visit this place con manager who do not care and staff who cannot fix a car.

This Meineke is the best. The mechanics are honest and Emilio the manager is fantastic! I highly recommend a plus plus plus they are terrific. I will be bringing all of my cars here in the future.

We had the rf hub bearing replaced a week ago, the car still whined and vibrated like it had a bad bearing. When we jacked the car up the rf wheel wobbled, the bearing was loose! Note also the missing bolt. It was either left out or not tightened. I wouldn't let Meineke touch any car of mine again.

Update May 31: driving 20 miles with the missing bolt (see photo) and not-seated-bearing wore out the ball joint. My guess: they tried to hammer in the bearing like a jackleg instead of pressing it in, or else they pressed in in cockeyed and left it that way. In any case the bearing was not seated! Beware this jackleg outfit.

We contacted 'customer care, I sent them the photo, they never responded. It cost us about $450 to have a competent, cheap mechanic reapair the damage that Meineke did. Meineke Customer Care never contacted me, we need a refund.

Run!! Do not come to this place!! The people that work here are not mechanics. They seem to be the homeless that walk around the streets of Houston. Please go some place else to know that your car is safe to drive.
