So nice to be able to buy food ingredients and Italian wine and then eat the mare monte pizza

This is a great place for specialty food - a great range of products too! Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable and it's clean and tidy. Lovely cheese and deli selection too. Bit hard to park around the back as space is limited.

Buzy coffee shop. Great healthy products. Good vibe. Wear your posh clothes.

Probably the best daytime service you'll get in Christchurch without a doubt and the food..... Absolutely amazing. Whether it's cabinet food (deserts) or menu items you can't go wrong.

I come for the groceries part, never had anything at the cafe, but it looks lovely.
I can spend hours here looking at all the speciality ingredients you can t find else where.
Good selection, super friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Things are not cheap here, most things are imported and are just the price they are any where in the world.

A ftiend took my husband and I ; we absolutely lobed it and also bougjt several wines as it has a little stor inside.

A place with an excellent selection of mainly Italian food, both fresh and tinned or dried. This is the place to go if you enjoy Mediterranean fare. There is also a popular cafe attached.

I would like to elaborate on this review.

Me and my partner went in to get takeaways and when we arrived we saw my parents were in there on a date, then when I walked in the door my brother was in there third wheeling on someone else's date. Complete lack of communication between us but it was great to see them and absolutely hilarious.

I used to find more variety at this shop, coffee for example. I like the products they have although some of them can be found at supermarkets at a more convenient price. There's a wide range of cured meats.

A great place to buy mediteranian food . The foccacia bread to die for .and the restaurant food and fresh meat and vegies are fantastic .

I always like going to this store. If you are after any type of Mediterranean ingredients for a recipe definitely check this place out. The selection they have is great, a wee bit on the higher side of the price range TBB but in my opinion worth spending a little bit more for the quality of the goods.

Love the Mediterranean Food Company. Plenty of Mediterranean delicacies to tempt yourself with. Everything is available from exotic spices, wine and cheeses to kitchenwares. They have a cafe there also. It's a magical place .

Love this wee boutique market with a lot of exotic food, ingredients and choices. Great pizza and nice set ups.

It's located in a very random part of Christchurch, but just like it's sister store in Wellington, this place is SO good. We really went nuts here with appetizers, main dishes and dessert and all of it was really good. We also had an incredibly helpful waiter that explained several questions.

They for some reason limit their takeaway to pizza only, which is very arbitrary and I hope they remedy that issue soon.

Five star for the grocery shop. Has lots of high end Mediterranean and Italian food. Great for those who are looking for these kind of experience. The gelato looks yummy!

Love the look and feel of this place but the blueberry muffin was a letdown. Very dry and stale tasting. Coffee was nice though and I love the cheese selection

Love this place! Superb for breakfast, and filled with delightful bakeware and Mediterranean treats.

This is where you get the best pizza. Be warned the kitchen closes at 3pm daily except Friday.

The grocery store was so nice to browse through - lots of goodies. Ordered a pizza to go. Was so nice.

The Hot X Buns are magnificent - but I am surprised at the coffee. Italian should be good and it is only average. Much better coffee available all over Christchurch.
