Very bad service. I was at the emergency room last night and the receptionist had me in tears! She treated with me with no care and no respect only because I am a kid/student.

I got the absolute best treatment and service here and would recommend Stellenbosch Mediclinic to anyone

In general it was good service, staff seem too rushed though.

My son was born here. Great equipment,rooms and specialists but some of the nurses were not friendly and not trained.

It was my first visit and I must admit the fact that it is a well-looked after, neat, clean hospital.

Exceptional medical facilities. Wait for walk in patients are long though because emergencies take precedence. doctors are friendly and they help to the best of their ability. I trust them. As I said, walk in wait is sometimes long, especially in evenings.

Terrible Service. My husband had a back injury at work on the 18th of April and was send to Medi Clinic Stellenbosch. On arrival he had a prove from work that he was send there by his workplace and his manager filled in the documents needed. On arrival he had to go to the police station to get an affidavit. When he got back to the hospital with that as proof as well he had to wait for 2 and a half hours before he was assisted... Very disappointed in THE SERVICE....

A long waiting time is what you should expect even though some of the staff try to help where they can.

Dr Martelle Bruwer Inc and their Credit Manager is just rude, no respect how they talk on emails they look fancy in Stellenbosch but underneath its just no manners its bad it's real bad

Emergency section understaffed! One person in emergency reception area to do everything, really?
Clearly nobody takes note of the reviews. Nothing has changed in the last 3 years. Service poor.

I went there because I sprained my ankle and couldn't walk, they got to consulting me quickly, but gave me no feedback on what whether I had torn ligaments or not and they gave me no advice on how to go about treating it or even how long I should stay off of it

I've been here since last week and Iam recovering well , my condition was critical but now I'm copying .

I had a very good experience in the newly constructed (2019) Stellenbosch Mediclinic Day Clinic in Elsie Du Toit drive. Staff were friendly and caring.

Do not!
If You are abroad and get sick, DO NOT. If yours travel insurance and their web page says that Medi-Clinic is place to go -> DO NOT GO!
They do not accept any travel insurances.
If You have fever and stomach problems, they say only way is their hospital for two nights (about 10 000ZAR)... If You refuse to be hospitalized, they decline to give You any document about sickness or medication...
Maybe there is too many empty rooms at the hospital, so they have to make money of stupid tourists.
Usually people of South Africa are helpful and very nice, but staff members of Medi-Clinic are exception.

Came here hammered and with a cut on my head that needed stitching up. Can t say the staff was thrilled (was probably the 20th case that night), but got stitched up and was out of there in no time. 10/10 would recommend.

Rude reception staff! Day clinic and emergencies women staff incapable of smiling or greeting professionally - dismissive and void of basic human interaction skills. Embarrassing, deplorable.

The most intolerable staff on record. Extremely rude and ill-informed. A must miss for anyone seeking serious medical attention.

My son was born here in Dec. 2014. They took great care of us, helped us a lot and was very friendly. I feel that they gave us good service.

I've read quite a few of the reviews from Mediclinic Stellenbosch. Many complain about the service. I have to agree many of the admin staff isn't always the friendliest in the trade. What I can insure you is that if you go to the emergency unit instead of the GP's yoy will get better. Yes they charge a little extra but its worth it. In the 10 years I've lived in Stellenbosch, this is the place I come to when other doctors fail get me better. There is one particularly doctor that I would recommend to all: Dr. Potgieter. He goes beyond medical care to make you feel better when you feel terrible. He is always friendly and he's radiating compassion for me as a patients has made me come back time and time again. I really don't know where I would go the day he decides to retire. I'm not sure if he will ever read this, but I'd like to thank him for his service. Thumbs up for Mediclinic Stellenbosch, just because I see one doctor making a difference!

Very disappointed with the patients emergency, we waited for atleast a hour and half to even be helped with the nurse/sister for consultation and they where not busy, only 3 patients before us. I thought the idea was to be helped very quickly. Although the reception area with filling in detials was very efficient.

The Hospital building is clean and well maintained. The receptionist and nursing staff is friendly, helpfull, caring and professional. The medical equipment is state of the art.

Went to emergency unit on the 25th of December and doctors on call took 3 hours to arrive and not one of the plastic surgeons on call answered their phone's until the next day.

Please never go there it is the worst hospital I've ever been, I am a clinical pharmacist and I promise you all this hospital don't know any thing about health care delivery system.

Clean and you feel safe and secure. Everyone is so helpful

Very nice hospital but unfortunately the staff is not friendly at all except the lady at the main entrance desk. Very sad, if this is how they treat visitors, how do they treat the patients?

Horrible service
I personally thought that they would have resolved all the problems from the previous location, but apparently old habits never die. I have read through the reviews, and i can definitely relate to more then 2 bad reviews made about this specific Mediclinic.

On the 6th of April 2019 i was taken to the previous Mediclinic as i was vomiting all night and had a fever. I had to wait 45min before the lady at the desk decided to assist me, just to be welcomed with a very unpleasant young woman, who definitely looked down on me due to my age as i am currently a student. She never said helo, all I received was a wat is jou medies fonds nommer! (in a very irritable tone).
The disrespect i had experienced was absolutely unacceptable.
It was not only that rude young lady at the front desk, every other staff member in the ER, besides the lady who had just arrived for her shift, had no manners towards patients!

Tonight i am here with a friend as he has what seems to be food poisoning... upon arrival there were two young men one of which was very ill, busy being helped, and 5 other people waiting to be assisted. Having one person at the ER at NIGHT, is absolutely ridiculous. This is not the first time.

Had excellent care from friendly and efficient staff.

Been there twice for Radiology. Never been greeted so many times by smiling passing staff, all very friendly. Place is nice and clean. State of the art mri machine gave trouble.
Radiology staff can do with training in dealing with frail patients esp. Ones in wheelchairs that get cold and banged into doors and not squabble about the wheelchairs among themselves.

Good luck if you are going here. Received more "medical" attention in the general ward than in the ICU. None of the staff actually look like they know what is going on and are unpleasant on top of that.

Terrible, do not go there at all. Not even for a headache

I've been to the Emergency twice this month, and both times I received excellent service. Very efficient, friendly and well trained staff. I could not have asked for any better service, thank you Stellenbosch!
