The cafeteria is inefficient and queue can be a standstill for quite several minutes. We gave up... and the layout of certain seatings at end of rows are bad... so much so as to keeping standing up and moving out to allow people to get to their seats. Very disruptive and irritating when people are late for the show/ play

Spacious new digs for Mediacorp. About a 10 min walk from One North MRT. If driving, you ll end up parking on the other side of the campus and then walking back over the communal function space to get to the main entrance where you have to register and exchange picture ID for a visitor pass. Bear in mind that the walk from One North MRT is not sheltered and so only for when weather permits

Amazing building structure. There are 2 restaurants at this building. One of them is cafe Melba. This campus has a park behind it where many kids come to play in the afternoon. The park is open for public and is a good place for relaxation. Many times there is video shooting going on in this park and around this campus.

considering that it is new, it is showing signs of wear and tear, rundown, toilet no soap and faulty paper towel dispenser. bad interior design. lousy circle 2 seating design. looks like it was build with emphasis on COST savings with no quality intended. star vista is much better (an insult to esplanade if compared with it)

Staff were friendly and most professional, saw them being very solicitous towards two other theatre goers in wheelchairs.

Lighting and sound were excellent, and though small, can still hold a candle to the theatre at the esplanade.

Only downside is if you don't drive, the theatre is quite a distance from the nearest one-north MRT station. Nonetheless, there is a nearby park that is worth exploring if you're early for a performance at the MES theatre

Food choices are limited here. There is only one small food court and an expensive cafe. For the theater, seats are too hard and upright. Gradience is not optimal such that my view is partially blocked by person sitting in front. This place is not very convenient to go in public transport because the walk to One North MRT station, though only about 8min away, is not fully sheltered.

Seats are literally 90deg upright and tightly packed, worse than my past LT. Most importantly, the air-conditioning is virtually non-existent. Shan't mention the washrooms others have talked enough about it. Also, security seems to be too eager to confiscate any food and drinks they come across. Please focus more on the lookout for hazardous materials instead cause that's your main purpose for checking bags isn't it?

Impressive looking building with cheap parking but this place would be inconvenient for travel by public transport. Sat at the upper circle seats and the view of the stage was OK. Take note that for the first (front) row of seats you may need to lean forward to see the stage due to the parapet wall. I find the air-conditioning just nice unlike some places that are too cold.
I agree that the security was too much as they didn't even allow water to be brought in.
