Very convenient location, not far-away in deep downtown. A wonderful large open space with lovely grass so the children can run and play in bare feet before and after a perfomance. Close to the Colbar and other Wessex establishments this is a GREAT theatre!
Don't like the place very very inconvenience for handicapped
The place that has long history in media. It has a media tour that are very interesting n modern
Beside their distant location and only accessible by bus. They have awesome cafe haha great place with astonishing view. Go and visit Cafe Melba there. And try their flatwhite and hot chocolate. My fave
New theatre. Pretty far away from public transportation
Nice building with lots of space and a garden when you climb up the steps.
The cafeteria is inefficient and queue can be a standstill for quite several minutes. We gave up... and the layout of certain seatings at end of rows are bad... so much so as to keeping standing up and moving out to allow people to get to their seats. Very disruptive and irritating when people are late for the show/ play
There's only one small toilet so when there's an intermission everyone has to queue up very long just to get to the restroom
My Clients recommend me to go there. so, I went partially for the enjoyment and Luxury.
Attended a course preview there. Beautiful place and feels very grand!
Futuristic looking building, building design allows natural light to lit up the interior as much as possible.
Sound system pretty good. Not that far walk from one north mrt.
Great theatre. I little troublesome if you need public transportation
I went there to catch The Addams Family Musical and it was not the best performance I've watched due to the bad lighting on stage. I wouldn't recommend watching a musical there.
Quiet place to visit on a weekend. Breakfast is available at some restaurants there, but price is steep.
Nice place but design is flawed by car park connection or rather inaccessibility!
It is not very easy to move along the passageways in the theatre
Nice, modern, spacious and grand campus. Cater more time if you are coming here, as Map routing is still relatively new and prone to errors. Locating the carpark may pose to be a hiccup too.
Lovely theatre, a short distance from Zone-North SMRT Station. Not a big theatre.
Spacious and lively place. Able to watch a large projection screen with TV channel on the grass field outside.
It a nice place and very cosy. The stage is rather steep and many stair to climb. But overall it comfortable .
New theater, slightly inconvenient for transportation
Stunning new building, but I guess your perception will depend on what you want to watch
Mid size coat theatre. Front rows are really close to the stage and get a good view. A short walk to One North MRT station. No food around here except Cafe Melba which fills up quickly. You are better off eating before you come for the performance.
Spacious new digs for Mediacorp. About a 10 min walk from One North MRT. If driving, you ll end up parking on the other side of the campus and then walking back over the communal function space to get to the main entrance where you have to register and exchange picture ID for a visitor pass. Bear in mind that the walk from One North MRT is not sheltered and so only for when weather permits
Shuttle between One North MRT and 1 Stars Ave by One North rider
Beautiful shiny building, worthy of several photographs.
A fair walk from the MRT but a great location for shows. Comfortable seats and great views from all seats!
Good seats, staging good, no outside noise interference
Amazing building structure. There are 2 restaurants at this building. One of them is cafe Melba. This campus has a park behind it where many kids come to play in the afternoon. The park is open for public and is a good place for relaxation. Many times there is video shooting going on in this park and around this campus.
Mediacorp is Singapore tv station. They are using automation system called Mosart in their studio room. Program on air is Channel News Asia.
Good upper end exhibition centre. Quality service with friendly staff
The place where the best shows take place .. The place where TV shows are made
considering that it is new, it is showing signs of wear and tear, rundown, toilet no soap and faulty paper towel dispenser. bad interior design. lousy circle 2 seating design. looks like it was build with emphasis on COST savings with no quality intended. star vista is much better (an insult to esplanade if compared with it)
The theatre is quite nice but location is quite remote and hard to find. I would prefer a more centralized location
I really love the place but only limited place to buy snacks or drinks
Nice clean place. Much easier to access compared to the old office at Caldecott Hill.
The new Mediacorp Campus is even larger than the old one, with more facilities and rooms. However, it has lost most of its accessibility especially for those who take public transport.
Staff were friendly and most professional, saw them being very solicitous towards two other theatre goers in wheelchairs.
Lighting and sound were excellent, and though small, can still hold a candle to the theatre at the esplanade.
Only downside is if you don't drive, the theatre is quite a distance from the nearest one-north MRT station. Nonetheless, there is a nearby park that is worth exploring if you're early for a performance at the MES theatre
Very nice architecture and design. Stage seems smaller than seen on TV. Comfy seats and great acoustics effect. Traffic coming to Mediacorp campus seems a bit confusing, if missed the access from AYE, then got to do a big loop via North Bouna Vista
It's easy to locate and the sound was good. Ushering team among the best.
Peaceful place with an open field, nice architecture for the building though.
Beautiful place with lots of points for photo taking
Beautiful place. However, bad experience with security. System error caused delay in entering venue.
Good location for events but narrow walkways make unpleasant experiences if you have counters you want to set up.
Food choices not too bad and the Cafe here is a great place to sit down and enjoy your coffee
Was here for the guided tour of their MediaCorp gallery. There are interactive displays here, with a simulated newscasting and radio deejaying setup within the gallery itself.
Food choices are limited here. There is only one small food court and an expensive cafe. For the theater, seats are too hard and upright. Gradience is not optimal such that my view is partially blocked by person sitting in front. This place is not very convenient to go in public transport because the walk to One North MRT station, though only about 8min away, is not fully sheltered.
a wonderful location indeed. it is not for the masses to visit often especially when the celebrities need some privacy too.
The new building is quite modern. At back of it there is a big screen also :)
Seats are literally 90deg upright and tightly packed, worse than my past LT. Most importantly, the air-conditioning is virtually non-existent. Shan't mention the washrooms others have talked enough about it. Also, security seems to be too eager to confiscate any food and drinks they come across. Please focus more on the lookout for hazardous materials instead cause that's your main purpose for checking bags isn't it?
Nice small theatre. Some seats cannot see the complete stage so be careful where you book. Shopping centre next door for restaurants and cafes if you need to eat before the show.
The park is good for doing exercises. The place is also near at Tanglin Halt hawker center.
Beautiful building set against a magnificent backdrop that is one-north: Mediapolis Park! Love the serenity and the smell of grass and timber there. Should be a great place to hang out with the family once the place is fully functional.
The food at 3rd place is taste horrible and expensive.
An okayish theatre for mid-sized crowd. Relatively difficult to get to via public transport.
Was here for Drum Tao performance. Nice and Clean. AC setting was just right. Unfortunately no food and drinks were allowed. There was a stall outside the theatre selling simple drinks and chips. And as with all cinemas, at marked up prices
Impressive looking building with cheap parking but this place would be inconvenient for travel by public transport. Sat at the upper circle seats and the view of the stage was OK. Take note that for the first (front) row of seats you may need to lean forward to see the stage due to the parapet wall. I find the air-conditioning just nice unlike some places that are too cold.
I agree that the security was too much as they didn't even allow water to be brought in.
I went for a private event. Great screens and lovely area to host
