Great last minute place to stop and tour. Very inexpensive and ya get an ice cream too! My 11 year old enjoyed herself as well as myself. Very educational for sure. If you're in the area, stop in. That is what we did literally.. on the way back from the mountains and seen it on the attraction sign.
Temporarily Closed as of 02/13/2021 but unfortunately they do not have any information posted on any of their public contact site. We took the drive out just to verify since we had previously taken the tour and wanted to share the cool experience with friends who had not. Definitely worth it if they...
9/27/21. My GPS was accurate. I just didn't go up all the way. I wasn't sure where I needed to turn once I arrived at Mayfield but I called the no# listed and the lady told me to come under the overpass (14'2) that connects the buildings and take the right at the end of the chain fence. Then take an...
We stopped for a quick dairy tour and dessert pit stop. Tours include ice cream with paid admission of $4.50 Adults and $3.50 children... tours are on the hour and lasting 45 minutes. The staff we encountered hardly smiled and was not overly friendly... not sure if they were having an off day. (minu...
They were closed for tours due to COVID-19 but the ice cream shop and gift shop were open. There is a small history display inside, a prelude to the tour. I'd come back for the tour someday. The ice cream was very good and inexpensive.
Mayfield was absolutely incredible because, how often do you get a tour of a milk and ice cream factory. I went in with high hopes and I really enjoyed it. I got to see how milk was packaged and distributed and how ice cream was packaged and made as well. The employees and staff were all very friend...
Great place to see how milk and ice cream is packaged. History of the dairy is interesting. Staff in the gift shop and giving the tour were friendly and knowledgeable. Excellent ice cream afterward. Go on the 10 am tour, then bring your lunch and relax in the great courtyard. :)
