Martingale Wharf

i asked for a rum gimlet it was made with lime juice not rose's lime juice
rose's lime gives it a little sweet taste if use plain lime juice you have to add a sweeter and it is not the same
the fish and chips was said it was cod i have been eating cod for many years and this was not it.

The lobster flatbread is a must for an appetizer. The swordfish was amazing.

The food was great, the atmosphere was lovely. I have been here many times before and have always left happy!

Seafood curry was amazing! Steak was delicious! Great views and a great waitstaff! Highly recommend this place!

The best deck/waterfront experience that Portsmouth has to offer if you don't mind paying for it. Large cocktail and wine list, beer is lacking though. Food is quality, a step into the realm of fancy for sure. Their inside is real nice but it's honestly all about the deck. They have a few tables that seat 8ish around a propane fueled fire pit. Those spots are awesome during the summer.

I haven t tried them all but I ll venture Martingale is the nicest place right on the water. I had fried clam bellies for lunch and was not disappointed.

Good food but poor service. It was awkward having to pick up your food and drinks from another table and we had to wait 10 min after getting our food to get our silverware to finally eat. It was like the servers were dodging people even though we tried waving them down. I was about to go to the server station when a manager finally noticed and I told her what we needed. She went and got them and brought them to our table. Forget about drink refills. The food was delicious but like I said poor service. Beautiful view of the harbor.

I have been stopping at the Wharf for years. Amazing views, love the outdoor fire pits, great food and drinks, servers are always fantastic and accommodating. Great place to enjoy a cocktail or beer by the water. Music on the deck just makes it perfect. Love the Wharf!

Had a wonderful dinner to celebrate my girlfriend's daughter's graduation. Had a few hiccups along the way: waiter was overwhelmed, seafood tower is really a seafood plate and not worth the price but they did take it back. Food took forever to be served. Overall, it was tasty.

Had to wait forever for our food, got our order incorrect, along with adding multiple things we didn't order to our bill. The food was great but the management of the food and service was unacceptable. They were probably having a bad night but still...
