Superb school residential venue. Fantastic time had by all the children.
Great place to work and visit. Great activities for all ages and competitive rate of pay.
Attended for a training course and despite closure due to COVID, we were looked after extremely well.
Brilliant. Just returned from a week away with 50 pupils. The instructors were all very professional, friendly but clear about safety and expectations. they really encouraged the pupils to have a go at everything. The catering was great - good solid breakfast, dinner and tea every day. catering staff really friendly. The weather was hit and miss but despite the rain, the instructors remained cheerful and so did the kids. It's the 2nd time we've been and we'll be back again next year. Good value too.
went there a few years ago with my school, it was absolutely vile. When we went into our rooms we were all shocked at the amount of beds in the room, there was about 10 bunk bed maybe more crammed into a room. we couldn't even straight between them we had to walk side ways. There was about 20 girls in that room with 2 showers and only 1 of which that would work. It was absolutely freezing when we went and it had been raining, there was frost over everything and they still made us do rock climbing, where my friend slipped due to the frost and knocked out her front tooth. The instructor was absolutely disgusting, he behaved like a toddler. he made almost half the group sit out due to the fact that we sounded sarcastic because of our accents. We was next to a room with a bunch of people who were atleast 8 years older then us, they kept on going into our rooms while we were doing activities and stealing our stuff such as money clothing etc. The food was vile, and made a number of people in my room feel unwell. Most of the people i went with came back home ill and with food poisoning. we received meat that was pink, crunchy rice( That was clearly under cooked) and cold food ( although we wasn't late for dinner). WOULD DEFINITELY GIVE 0 STARS IF I COULD. WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!
Instructors of way to strict and bedroom are filthy
Went just over a year ago. Staff were amazing & well supportive. Went with NCS & they made it really enjoyable. Activities were amazing & really fun ranging from heights like zip wire & high ropes too biking & rafting. Accommodation is ok in terms of sleeping arrangements but you only spend the nights in there as the grounds are the best part as there's lots of areas too hang out in. Food is a bit of a hit or miss but they do accommodate most needs, tuck shop is also available. I've made most of my best memories there not only with those on NCS but also with the staff there as well
Manor Adventure is the best! Activities are fun my fav is rock climbing and kayaking would go again
Recently arrived back from a trip. The food was delicious and the rooms were brilliant.Activities range from archery to zip-wiring!However the reason my review is 4 stars is that the staff are simply not fun enough! They are too strict. Thank you for reading!
went here last summer on a school trip. NEVER AGAIN. the instructors were agressive and sarcastic. ONE OF THEM KICKED A BARREL IN ANGER. by the first night i wanted to evacuate immediatly but i had to stay for a further 2 days. the food was VILE. the kitchen was ridden with flys (dead and alive) and so was the food. the rooms are outdated and the carpets are full of very unusual stains. DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THE BATHROOM. 2 showers in one room with absoluteley no privacy! one very tiny sink and a very large window that was not very good for privacy with no curtains too. i had to clean the bathroom myself because it was rotten. there is a blind and deaf cat that is vicious too. IF I COULD RATE THIS 0 STARS I WOULD.
