I am so very satisfied with all that this YMCA offers! When my children were younger, they both attended the quality preschool program. They had good experiences with youth sports, as well. Now, we all enjoy the huge variety of classes and workout equipment for a fraction of the cost of a four-pers...
I ve been a member for over 4 years now and can say that I cherish my time at the ymca. I get a great work out. The staff and instructors are nice and accommodating. I ve read some negative reviews on here and can say that I m saddened by them. Really if you are following the rules there is no reaso...
The facility is clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. They do not, however, enforce etiquette. The hoi polloi sit on the weight machines to complete their sets rather than letting others work in. Some even text between sets. Many bang the equipment--not an informed bunch.
I give one star for the classes which were great. I took Zumba and gentle yoga Monday evening, and both instructors were amazing . It was my first time attending this location . I will not be returning due to the little to non existing help I received with calling in to ask for help on a lost item...
I love this place, is super family friendly. The 2 hours child care is the best ! You can do everything in one place, swimming, yoga, pilates exercise, steps, spinning, children can dance, karate, family yoga, family zumba...and etc etc etc etc etc
Excellent facility. Friendly, helpful staff. Has everything you would want or need. Pools, basketball courts, multiple cardio/strength training rooms. Would recommend to anyone.
Don't come here unless you want to be treated like a criminal! Also don't come here if you have young kids! It's $69 for one adult plus kids in order to use their "free" childcare. But they will call you to come get your baby if she cries for longer than 10 minutes. God forbid your baby cry when th...
It is great the 'Encinitas' YMCA has indoor adult women's soccer leagues, but only two referees ensure that the rules are adhered to. Many players have experienced injuries, most due to fouls and plays that are too aggressive. Complaints have been heard, but not addressed. Unfortunately, many play...
My first time was disappointing to say the least, the staff is not helpful at all. It was difficult to get a staff member who actually knew what is going on and knowledgeable enough to helpful with the schedules and directing us to correct child care.
There is a couple of new people that that don t now their members regular members they are suck really bad the apparently new manager tall guy was arguing with me about my account.
It was amazing. Especially Teenight. The staff was very friendly, and Teenight was a great start to a weekend, and a splash of bright color to a boring week!
A great Y. I walk here on Saturdays. the wife goes on Tuesday and Thursdays as well. Lots of machines pool, baseball fields jogging track and much more.
My how things have changed over the years. I remember coming here 20 years ago. Before the skate park/ramps, before the preschool, before the soccer fields and the south entrance/lot or before the north one's expansion. It was 2 indoor pools, 1 lap and 1 diving with a high dive and concrete locker r...
We previously had a family membership for may years and enjoyed the facility and its various programs. Rejoined recently and have continued to find it a great experience.
An amazingly well equipped gym, feat. a great pool, saunas, co-ed jacuzzi, and fantastic instructors. I especially love the yoga classes. Head upstairs if the cardio room is packed. However, if you're looking to unwind and focus on your workout: kids. are. everywhere.
Amazing swim / spa facility, probably the nicest pool in any YMCA anywhere. 12 or so lanes, no-wave gutters and plenty of deck space and also a kid play area. There are spas, saunas and spacious locker rooms. I am just visiting from San Jose but I hear the rest of the facility is topnotch. It's a...
I've been to gyms all over the world, and this is one of my absolute favourite places to work out. Down-to-earth, friendly staff, a mixture of people who train there and a decent array of equipment - all with zero pretension. Love it.
This is one of the best YMCA s in the US, the biggest one on the West Coast by far. The staff here is super nice and the facility is first rate. Probably one of the nicest places I have ever been as a gym and community center

Love swimming laps in their 11-lane pool. I avoid the busier times so getting a lane is not a problem. After laps, I enjoy a little time in the whirlpool and then the sauna. Thanks to the staff! Patrick Redmond of DRT Dynamic Resilience Training aka Red Mountain Evolved Pilates
The arena soccer is poorly ran. From bad referees who favorite other teams. One of the referees personally attacked my father by defaming his character to his new family in law who runs other leagues in Carlsbad. Management itself discriminated my players and myself I don t recommend playing there I...
Best deal in SoCal, a fantastic facility with epic equipment. A great family hangout, crowded at times but generally work-out accessible; soccer arenas and skate parks are insane. Bring a towel, wipe down your equipment.
I witnessed this morning - the ymca staff harassing judging poor members here who are fire victims, paid members who leave their car parked overnight to go to work and come in morning to work out walk the tracks outside. They called the police on my friends 2 times in the same day, without speaking...
I love the Y! It is a staple for our family. Childcare is FREE for up to two hours a day while you workout!! FREE!!! I feel beyond lucky to be a member.
I switched to the YMCA after a corporate gym continued to raise my dues each year, making it harder to afford. I started at the Y in Mission Valley, which was small, but still great, but after moving I found myself without a gym membership for some tim...
Consistently over years has operated at the highest level of cleanliness, professionalism, and and has contributed mightily to the entire community. A true credit to this city. Thank you, Y!
Management makes assuming judgmental false claims controversies if you don't drive an expensive car against paying members. They call the cops to handle their management issues problems. Unbelievable a Christian organization harrasses terrorising it's members with cops.
My experience was not good ! 1 -they said no electronics but when I got there all the kids had their cell phones 2. i spent $13 on crazy socks for crazy socks day and that never happened! 3. they said we were going to the wild animal Park that cost alot but they pulled a fast one on us the d...
