I absolutely adore this place have been here multiple times for I guess you call it vacation really just to get away. Staff is very helpful friendly remembered me from visit to visit. I always had a positive very professional visit to the spa. Room service was just delicious as well as the restaurant my room was always spotless clean stop willing to help with anything and everything.

Beautiful resort on the coast of Connecticut! Attended a wonderfully catered bridal shower here overlooking the cozy intimate beaches of Madison. Food was delicious, eggs Benedict, scones, banana bread squares and dreamy caramel pecan muffins to compliment chicken breasts, penne pasta in sauce and a fresh red and green leaf salad with cranberries, walnuts and blue cheese. Such a treat!

Do not stay here. The setting is stunning. Beautiful hotel. That s where it ends. This is a hotel designed around weddings. What that means is that they kick you off the beach to perform those weddings. So if you and your family are trying to enjoy some sun and fun you will be told you have to leave off the beach you paid to stay at.

Then of course you have the parties that start after the weddings. Yup 11-2 in the morning is doors slamming, loud talking in the hallways, and music. Reminded me of my college dorm.

They also have a bee problem that makes sitting out in the back patio not a possibility.

Just remember this is a event facility not a hotel and keep that in mind before staying.

Stayed here for a week for business and this place was beautiful! Definitely more upscale, the service was impeccable and the staff went out of their way to help when I had an issue with my balcony door getting stuck.

Restaurant/bar had great food and the bartender was hilarious. The views from the hotel and the beach below are absolutely gorgeous. Definitely worth the cost!

Had a mortifying experience at the resteraunt. The chef dropped my steak in the kitchen so i had to sit and wait another 20 minutes while everyone else at my table ate. I received a lame apology with no complimentary snacks or anything. I have never ever experienced anything like this in a "fine resteraunt". I am embarresed for the madison beach hotel.

Nice hotel, terrible restaurant . Stay but don't eat here. Order from the local pizza place. Totally outshines the restaurant. We ordered the "LOCAL sea Bass" it may have been local but where was the fish? 2 out of 2 orders were the tail ......tail. the scraps of the fish no meat all skin and of coarse loaded wirh dark meat from the PCB's. Horrendous. Serving Tails on a fish like this is a disgrace. It should never hit the table at 28$ each. I catch these fish any day of the week and throw this cut (if considered a cut at all) away. Pizza and a room with a view.... only way to stay

Great hotel, loved the room and location. Staff was feiendly. Only issue was a staff member entered our room 10 minutes after checking in and didn't really give us a valid reason to why it happened. Called the front desk to find out why and they made up an insane excuse. It was pretty uncomfortable. The front desk agent in the morning seemed more concerned about our issue than the agents on the 2nd shift. Also there was a beeping noise going on for hours that kept me up. Overall it was a nice stay.

Last evening was a birthday celebration so we chose the Madison Beach Hotel's Wharf Restaurant for dinner. This was a big mistake. The restaurant was so noisy you could not carry on a conversation, the waitstaff was poorly trained, the food was mediocre at best and needed to be sent back to be cooked! When we complained to the manager he apologized and sent over ONE dessert to appease us.
In my opinion this establishment is pretending to be The Ocean House and they are not even close to being in that league. Needless to say we are never going back and I will tell all our family and friends to do the same.

this is not a children friendly hotel more of a 55+ crowd. rooms are very nice with a great views of the bay. This is good for couples who want to get away for the weekend. located in an upscale neighborhood of Madison Conneticut nice downtown area to walk around and shop

I looked online to find the Oyster and Prosecco special for Tuesday night and could not find it for 2019. Last year it was in a separate room and a nice group of people.
When I called in about it I guess it is no longer an event with a specific time. Now it is just available at the bar or with dinner. Too bad since it was a nice event and I was thinking I would go tonight. Too bad you changed a nice format.

This was a great place to kick off the 1st phase of "Covid Be Gone" We made reservations for the patio on a Sunday. It was a perfect day. Nice view. The service was great. We got the Swordfish sandwich which was delicious! And the half chicken with grill asparagus and fingerling potatoes. The lavender pomegranate sangria was refreshing and the key lime pie, a perfect way to end a perfect day and a great 1st date

Just terrific. Food was outstanding. The views of the water was great. Service was really professional. I'd eat here in a heartbeat if I lived in the area, but I don't. However on my next visit to the Connecticut shoreline I'll definitely stop there. Wine list was very good, specialty cocktails were there and there was a nice selection of beer. Go and enjoy.

Husband and I went for a celebration dinner last night. Made reservations so we were seated very quickly. Service was very very slow. Once we ordered our food, the appetizer came out 25 minutes later, main dish came out 35 minutes later, meanwhile ordered a second drink and came out when we were ready for the bill. Had very high hopes for our dinner but the food was not that great. I could have bought this dinner for 20 bucks at the grocery store and cooked it myself. Very disappointed

Was there for a wedding. The food was good, especially the crab cake appetizer. I just don't like the set up of the venue. The dance floor was completely blocked by people, and that's where everything takes place. A beautiful venue Just the worst set up for a wedding room I've ever seen

Everyone was wonderful, we had a great beachfront view from our 3rd floor room. The pricing for a two night should include free parking, but you have to pay $20 to park your car. The price of the breakfast was expensive, and the quality was subpar. The eggs were bland and tasteless, and my wife's home fries were frozen. It's better and cheaper to go off site to buy breakfast. The loaded nachos, with an alcoholic beverage, on the beach were bomb. The beach attendants dig a hole in the sand, put a sand spoke in and you get a beach umbrella, placed between your beach chaises and your beach snack table. Unfortunately, for us yesterday was a complete washout, as it poured thunderstorms all day.. We ended up going to the Clinton Crossings shopping outlets, only down a couple big exits from the hotel vis 95 North. For the price of the hotel room charge, you get a gym/ workout area on the first floor, which is nice. However, most people that come here,, want to swim, but when it rains, the beach bathing/swimming option is basically eliminated. They should build an indoor swimming pool, with an enclosed ocean front view. Costly, but would be an excellent amenity. I would stay at this hotel again, but be sure to check the weather forecast for hot sunny weather, so you can use the beach, and get some rays. Otherwise, there is not much to do inside the hotel.
