Several weeks ago I was in to look for a new dog, I instantly fell in love with a small husky mix named maya. She wasn't available for adoption at the time because she was undergoing training for terrible trust issues but I continued to visit her. The first time I was in she wouldn't come out of the back of her cage, within two weeks she was coming to the front of the pen and timidly greeting me. I was told by her trainer that she was being sent to a rescue, so I was disheartened but continued my visits. A few days later the trainer noticed and said that if I would come in to work with maya a few times a week until she gets used to me they would put her on hold for me. I jumped at the opportunity, so after 2 weeks of hard work my new baby girl comes home Friday. The staff and volunteers all know me by name and have worked very hard for both myself and Maya, I couldn't be happier. It's clearly obvious that they care about not only the animals but also the people adopting. They are miracle workers, so if you are interested in a new pet, adopt don't shop, and please if you have extra animal supplys, DONATE! Every little bit helps. It was there that I adopted my newest family member. They were very helpful and caring most especially Ann and Whitney. I couldn't be more happy with the experience.

Got some beautiful pets.....love them....was easy to see and hold them....and didn't take long to adopt them.

The employees were so kind & helpful. They truly care about finding loving homes for their animals.
We recently adopted a kitten , Charlene was amazing with all the help she gave us. We had never adopted thru an SPCA before. Tammy was very friendly also.
Our kitten found his forever home thanks to Charlene & Tammy.

Nice place they get lots of doges and Cats and so much more forever homes.they also help do much with lower income family's if your on Ssi or have a lower house income. Well that's no problem they help you pay to get your cat or dogs fix. As well as so much more. just so sad it is a kill shelter but. I understand.

A lost dog came to our house. Took to SPCA to see of it was chipped. They we're able to get the name of owner. The dog and owner we're reunited. The staff were amazing and very friendly.

I drive by their location going to n returning from the post office. Parking lot is out front, papers posted on the front doors can't see in or out, n there's usually cars parked in the lot.

I Adopted a Cockapoo on October 2 and his name is Buddy - He is 9 years old - One of the best dogs I ever had - I Adopted him in honor of my Dog Duffey who I had for 19 years - Buddy is the first dog I rescued - Thank you Lycoming County SPCA for Careing

Someone had put my beautiful red nose pit back in there after we just adpoted her an won't let me get her back because I let my parents hold on to her

Excellently run and maintain animal shelter. The idea of getting members of the community to sponsor Kennels is brilliant.

I have taken four animals from the SPCA and they were all very good. Two dogs and two cats. I have lost one of the dogs but the other dog and the two cats get along well.

i can not thank ALL the people at the humane society enough.... for allowing us time to get to know jessie... she is such a awesome fur baby...

I'm absolutely disgusted with this place!!!! This place is to be a place to help animals but wants to charge someone 90 dollars just to bring in a sick kitten who was found in a box by a dumpster! I tried to help the kitten but it needed more medical than what I could give him. I will never help another SPCA in my life. Animal shelter my rear end!

Filled out application. They said waiting on our land lord. They never called them and promised to call us back. Never did 2 days later to this date

Sad circumstances, but the animals were all clean with play toys and nice beds.

We went there for an education and came away with quite a bit. The staff was great and helped us a great deal.

Stopped by to get dog license. Fast and friendly service.

One of the best things you can do is adopt a pet! They love unconditionally!

They work with you they r friendly, caring people..they let you get to know the dog before you leave..nice to work with them and they do all they can to help you get your dog..love frankie.frankie has really become the dog to fill the void left by my 4 pekingnese..we've him so much..he gets love lots of rides,walks couch and bed time..play..he loves his squeaker toys and us

This is the best SPCA I have ever been to. Very Large. The animals actually almost look happy and their cages are very clean and well kept. The lobby is large and the staff was welcoming. I wish I could have taken a pup home with me.

I love how I can just go visit without being pressured into anything.

This is a great place to adopt animals from. Remember it is best to adopt before you shop at pet stores and at stores for pets. :)

Wish there was more people who could afford $$ to adopt, it's not cheap to keep those fur babies safe!

They care for all the furry little babies people dont want! Also a great staff.

We got our kitten here about a month ago and shes the love of our lives now. The staff is friendly and helpful and the establishment is clean and well run.

W err enjoyed our time here today . The animals and cages were well kept and the staff were a blessing. I would recommend this place for sure !

Not impressed. Seems that they are interested in donations than finding homes for the animals.

I went there about three times looking to adopt a cat for my family. Once I was told there were no cats there that we're ready for a house with kids. One time they sent me to pet smart where there were two cats both afraid of people. Last week they had kittens now they have none. It's very confusing .

The best place period to take family and friends. The best service. The best person to wait on you in horses Restaurant. Is Emily. She's the best.

the people here are incredibly sweet and the animals always make me cry bc im a huge animal lover but they re the sweetest and i love you all thank you for everything you do you make the world a better place for people who don t do the same :)

Everybody was nice, animals seemed like they were being taken care. Had gotten a picture with Santa with my lab Lucy! Good picture! Enjoyable experience.

This is a great place that truly cares about animals. Workers are all so friendly and the communication is excellent. We met and fell in love with Lucy. Took her home the next day to provide her with all the attention she deserves. I would recommend this shelter to everyone. Thanks so much.

We adopted our beagle from the SPCA this July. The staff were personable, knew the animals well and the adoption application process was so easy!

Went in the door and told my animal to go certain room and be put to sleep immededately. I took her back home. She died in my arms many years later
