Chris the the manager was one of the more rude individuals I have met in food service. After waiting for over a half hour for a table next a belligerent individual in the entryway, Chris decided that I was associated with this individual. From this unfounded assumption, once we were seated Chris hold us accountable for the other individuals actions evening. Poor management, poor leadership, and I don't know whether or not the food is worth the price is, but I will never be back.

Mediocre in all regards. Servers were disinterested in providing service, the food wasn't anything to write home about, and the beer was just ok. The best thing the restaurant has going for it is the view from the patio. I wasn't disappointed with anything, but I also wasn't impressed by anything.

Mini Vacation April 06-2016 - My lady had Ribs, they were cooked till the meat was falling off the bone, she commented they were prepared correctly, but there was something in the sauce she did not enjoy. Boulder Station here in Vegas serves Ribs in the buffet on Fridays, the chief need to learn how the Lumberyard cooks the Ribs til the meat fall off the bone.

I had a Texas Burger with double Bacon. Bacon says it all, it was good after driving most of the afternoon to visit Flagstaff. Took several Flagstaff IPA back to my Motel to top off the evening.

Great place to be when you are Hungry, and Thirsty. Our waitress was all smiles, helpful, and quick. It was a bit cool in that night, and we decided to avoid the patio, warmer and the patio would have been the location to enjoy our stay enjoying life @ the Lumberyard.

I had a decent experience eating there when they first opened, tried it several times since and honestly disappointed every time ... The prices are higher and the portion sizes are smaller every time I go in the place. The servers like to cluster together and chitchat,
forget having any refill on your beverages... There always seems to be a table or two of loud 'Bros'.... And when I walk by their kitchen entrance or use the restroom I get a whiff of backed up septic which always puts me off at a restaurant ...

You have to pay to park there, the service is poor at best, the prices are too high and the food is meh .... Guess I'm done with the Lumberyard....

I cannot express how great this place is!!!! We live in Colorado and I wish this place was closer! Beer is amazing, food is to die for, and on top of that they offered a place inside when it was raining (we were outside at time)! I just have to say thank you for a wonderful experience! I will definitely brag about this place when I return home!

Sunday night was pretty busy due to the SNF game and some football drink game. The server greeted us quickly order was taken and food was delivered. All pretty much what a bar type atmosphere looks like and bar food - don t expect too much. Had the surf and turf - Tri tip and shrimp and Tri tip and Mahi Mahi. Both good. Trip tip was suppose to be med. rare but it was mostly rare and more med on the ends. Meat had a nicely seasoned crust and was tasty. Shrimp was small but seasoned well. Mahi Mahi was tender not dry and seasoned well with the addition of the tartar sauce. Sides were your typical bar food sides, bbq beans, coleslaw, fries, etc... all tasty. We shared the banana pudding - vanilla wafers, bananas and whipped cream made the pudding over the top delicious! Atmosphere was nice service was really good. Good selection of beer - not huge but a nice variety not just IPA s.

Covid-19 doesn't require touchless menus which is your only option here.. Don't like that you have to pay before food and service are rendered...not easy to resolve if there are issues. We had trouble with ordering drinks. Got that resolved. When food came we had added onion rings to fish and chips which come with fries and Cole slaw...there was no cole slaw. Fish was 3 pieces of frozen fish all the same exact size and shape, bloody Mary was basically tomato juice with vodka despite all the fancy add ins. Good service. Also noticed in reading reviews the owner only thanks people who give positive reviews and doesn't address negative reviews.

Glad lumberyard is still open but highly disappointed that the yard jars didn t actually come in jars. In addition to the drinks we ordered mac and cheese and received SOOGY fries instead. Lastly they delivered the drinks and food in a box, however it was a sticky spilling MESS. Thank god we had a towel in the car.

This was our first time visiting lumberyard brewing. The food was very tasty and service was good. We did have to wait about 30 minutes to be seated but I think this was due to the covid situation and having a reduced capacity. We ordered using our phone. It was like you were ordering a take out meal and then eating it there. It was quite efficient.
It seemed very clean and well organized. We were able to sit outside. All the tables had umbrellas. Highly recommend.

If you are staying in the Flagstaff area Lumberyard is a great place to grab a beer. It does get a bit backed up during peak times so you may want to consider an alternate if there is a long wait time. The food was okay but was a little cold and im sure only because of how busy it was. I would suggest at least trying a beer but may want to look around if you are starving.

Wanted to try the pizza place up the street, but the smell outside Lumberyard's building changed our minds. Basic, but good variety of menu options, tasty local beers, quick and friendly service, and a clean, fun environment. Food was delicious, and we're excited to stop by next time through town to try more of it!

Frankly I don t understand the low ratings for this brewery.
My son and I were passing through Flagstaff and a good friend recommended it we went for dinner.
We had to wait for an outside table however the wait was less than we were told so we were very happy.
The greeting and the table both were excellent. Extremely polite staff members.
We ordered two cocktails, Mango Tango, absolutely delicious and refreshing, I am stealing this recipe

We had an excellent experience.
Thank you

As a craft beer enthusiast, the "No Dogs Allowed" sign caught my eye immediately as we walked up, so I liked the place even before stepping foot inside. I did a flight of beers. Not the best way to evaluate, but we were only in Flagstaff for 2 days and I wanted to hit every brewery.

I would rate their beers (overall) as average to slightly above average. There was nothing that completely blew my socks off, but in retrospect they were some of the better beers I sampled that weekend. It was a little crowded, but that's a good thing. If you're the only one sitting in a place... there's probably a good reason.

I like (love) that they are so people oriented and "people friendly" if you will. My wife and I are both avid animal lovers and dog owners. This new "dog friendly" nonsense, (which is a misnomer if ever there was one), seems to have gotten out of hand. I'm not sure why the craft beer industry has decided it's a good idea to pander to that one subculture. It's refreshing to see that not all breweries operate on the "follow-the-leader" business model.

Now that I've tried all the breweries in Flagstaff I know exactly which ones to visit, (and which ones to avoid), next time we're in town.

Well done guys.

Woahhhhhhhhhhh...not sure if everything on their menu is as delicious as their Hummus Reuben sandwich, but if it is, then I think we have found the holy grail of food ladies and gentleman. I could LITERALLY taste the LOVE. And don't even get me started on that mac and cheese!!! I added a little diced tomato action to the mac and BOOM went the dynamite. Not only was the food bliss, but the service was superb! Abbey filled me in on the place (through the grapevine) and Jayde made awesome recommendations. Jayde also went the GENUINE extra mile (which is RARE in the food service industry these days) through her heartfelt conversation and sincere care of my dining experience. Although I am a traveler passing through town, as crazy as it may sound, I would drive 1,000 miles specifically to experience Lumber Yard, and all of its offerings, once more. Thank you so much for the 5/5 star experience Lumber Yard!!! Keep making that LOVEEEEE

Namaste

Great beer from the in-house brewery. In Happy Hour 4 $ pint of beer (3 pm-6pm). Very good price. My favorite: Hazy Angel IPA. Also recommended: Raspberry xxx. We also had burgers and pulled pork. Great food. All in all, not a bargain, but worthwhile. After 18 o'clock is really much operation and expected to wait.

Great Flagstaff brewery/restaurant. At night it gets busy as a popular bar. They have country 2 step lessons early on friday and sat nights. During the day it's a great spot to grab a pint of one of their many beers on tap, and a great burger. My personal favorite is the Texas Burger. The Hazy IPA is also a great beer to try. Definitely one of the most popular brewpubs in Flagstaff.

Just went here over the weekend with my boyfriend and a couple friends. The wait wasn't too bad and we were able to sit outside until it started pouring and the servers moved us inside. The service was good and we enjoyed our waiter- he was funny and prompt with our drinks and food. The beer isn't my favorite but I know a lot of people enjoy it. The yard jars are awesome!

Very mixed quality of food. Ordered breadsticks (excellent), grits (pretty good), burger with bbq (good), mac and cheese (ok), fries (below average), burger with chili (raw meat and bland). Added to this was a waiter who seemed to repeatedly forget us . Asked for ketchup and ended up going to another table to get my own - asked for refill on soda and it never came. Disappointing.

The food was a 5 but the cleanliness was a 3. We walked in and there wasn't a clean table or bar spot available. We ended up sitting down with a giant used cleaning tray in front of us at the bar that my fiance had to ask them to move. I understand being busy but there were 6 staff members doing nothing at the front desk when we walked in. The beer, burger and service made up for it in a big way but when we initially sat down we were tempted to leave.

Great service, plenty of staff to help you get seated. I ordered a shrimp po' boy. It was a little plain and their sauce could use a little work but it was still very satisfying. Onion rings were also good, though a few of the rings were a little undercooked.

Red Rock Raspberry- a light ale with a nice raspberry flavor, went well with my Tri Cobb Salad. Salad was filling with generous portion of Tri-Tip. Service was attentive and friendly.

Super close to the train station, great place to grab a bite while you're waiting for your train.

Great food, beer, and staff. I would come back from Wisconsin just to dine here. Our family had the ribs, Mac and cheese, wings, soup, and beer all was great. Our little guy loved the trains that went by. Our waiter was great and the staff inside was very helpful.

My son placed a larger order and our server told him if he finished all of his food he would get a free shirt. He reiterated a couple of times throughout our meal Which made us believe it was a legit challenge. Despite the struggles, he finished and asked for his shirt but was told it was just a joke.
