This is definitely the hot spot for college students so not a good place if you're looking for a quite meal. But we had a great server and the food is amazing. Chili burger, sonoran dog, veggie burger are all to die for! Best Hefenweizen in the state.

It's a bar that leans on its location and "brewery" status to elevate itself, but in the end the food and atmosphere is just B-A-R. The food can often be bland and designed with the mind set of soaking up beer. The staff are usually students who don't communicate well with the kitchen staff. 9 times out of 10 my order is wrong BUT its sort of a "must-visit" type place when you come to Flagstaff and their beer is the best thing they got going for them.

DELICIOUS! Chicken was a bit dry but the pulled pork, ribs, and sausage were spot on. Lots of good beers to choose from. We got to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather. Watch out for that spicy bbq sauce - it was killer! Beautiful views, great food and great service!!

The manager kicked us out of the bar area, offered no attempt to locate another space. He was very rude, poor customer service, assumed I was cold to sit outside because I wore a tank top, the guy is really just unable to do the job as a manager, very ineffective. Stay clear, horrible management if you had an issue. Young manager promoted to early, horrible communication.

Great food, we had an awesome server. Overall the experience was great, and I would have given 5 stars. There were way too many kids running around the patio, jumping up and down and running around our table. We were trying to enjoy our dinner not other people's undisciplined children.

Stopped in after a family trip to the Grand Canyon. Party of 12. They told us 45 mins but they got us seated in 10 mins. We ordered nachos and Mac n cheese balls for appetizers. It was a blood bath. The 6 kids devoured it like they had not been fed in weeks. Us adults nearly lost fingers reaching for food! I ordered the wings with Thai Angel sauce. I only wish the wings came dressed. It makes it messier to dip in sauce then dip it in another sauce. But over all they were great and the Thai angel sauce was delicious The wife ordered gone fishing platter mahi mahi and grilled shrimp. She said everything tasted good. I tried a bite of the cornbread which most restaurants screw up. It was really well done. Over all we got our appetizers quick and our food quick. It all tasted good. I would highly recommend this place to traveler stopping by to eat.

Friendly staff, very VERY efficient Covid protocols, and great food. It's gets a little cold outside at night, and they don't have many seating options inside, so bring a jacket! Other than that, this is a really great place to go and hang out with your family/friends!

Great place, been coming here for years. As a Tempe native, this is akin to the Four Peaks of Flagstaff. Good staff, great menu (better than four peaks) and good beers. They are also super family friendly which is important to us.

After drinking Railhead Red for a few years, I finally made it up North to @lumberyardbrew and couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the scenery with the train passing by, to the cool weather, awesome food, and of course great brews. Service was excellent, prices are really good and the merchandise is affordable. One thing to note, I wasn't sure if we had to pay for parking at the parking machine.

We visited Lumberyard Brewing Co. During the NAU graduation. Understandably, they were packed. As a two top we were still sat within 20 minutes which was less than I expected. We had wings as an appetizer and they were delicious. Our food and drinks were prompt and the server was friendly. The real reason I am writing this review is because of the MAC AND CHEESE. I have never had such delicious Mac and Cheese. It's almost a month later and I keep thinking about it. Amazing.

This place had the rudest "manerger" "Chris" that couldn't handle a larger party! (Only 19). If this was my restaurant he would no longer have a job! Lost out on over $500.00 ticket. He owes our waitress a huge apology and her tip she lost out on.

I d give Olivia 5 stars, she was great! I would only come back if I knew Olivia would be my waitress. However.... the rest of the wait staff was a mess. We had to ask for a water 3 times before actually getting one, and minutes after getting a water we were kicked out for being too drunk. We had one normal 16 oz beer, and one of their extra large mason jar drinks. We were all able to walk completely fine, hold a normal conversation, and we re sitting in a booth hanging out with friends. Just a thought..... if you don t want drunk people in your bar you should stop serving extra large mason jar sized drinks filled with liquor for $7 in the middle of a college campus. It seems as if we weren t welcome because we weren t continuously ordering drinks so our server wasn t making money off of us.

If you're looking for just beer, probably an ok place to go. If you're looking for food, not their forte. Tried to order a Reuben with half the meat, apparently they can't do it. Ordered a burger, they don't ask for how well do you want it cooked. It comes one way. dont expect customer service or a smile. Expect as if you were going to a gun shop. Highly not recommended.

My wife and I decided to try the Lumberyard. We started with Mac and Cheese balls. When they arrived at the table they looked great. Golden brown balls about an inch and half in diameter. However they lacked any flavor. My wife ordered the sonoran dog, she like the meal for the most part. She said the beans in tbe sonoran dog were way too sweet. I had the lava burger with cole slaw. The meat was fine and cooked correctly, however I expected some heat with the burger. There wasn't any heat at all. The cole slaw lacked flavor also. Even salt and pepper couldn't rescue it. The beer was only decent. I had the Imperial and the IPA, my wife tried the raspberry ale. We have had better. We waited about twenty minutes to be seated, even though plenty of tables inside and outside where available. When seated it was warm and the chairs uncomfortable to the point of painful. I don't recommend this restaurant.

Lumberyard has done a FANTASTIC job of adapting to COVID guidelines. Both the indoor and outdoor settings feel safe, distanced and comfortable. The booths have higher partitions than normal and the ordering is done completely by mobile to cut down on waitress/waiter interaction. I lived in Flagstaff back in 2010 and came here often. I m happy to say the food and the beer options are still top tier! If you don t come to Lumberyard while you re in town you re missing out!

Ate here while visiting awhile back before they closed for Covid and it was delish! Had our dog with us this time around after a weekend camping with her and we were excited that they have reopened BUT they don't allow dogs on the patio!!! Needless to say I was a little peeved since the line of people waiting to get in were crowded around the sign and I didn't see if till I got to the front of the line at the entry gate.

It took awhile to get a seat but it was worth the wait. Our burgers were on a different level and the service was well above average. Their beers are pretty good and my buddy claims that Lumberyard has the best wings in the state. (I haven't confirmed that myself yet). I recommend eating lunch here.

This is a cool little stop up in flagstaff. Their beer is great and they have a fairly large variety. The atmosphere is loud and they have a cool setup that would satisfy most hipsters. The only thing I didn't really enjoy was the food. It wasn't too bad, but it wasn't where I thought it should be. But if you are a lover of beer then this is a must in flagstaff.

I know a lot of people call this a must do in Flagstaff. It was good and they accommodated my son's allergies, which is always a big plus for me, but I wouldnt call it outstanding. I got the surf and turf at the waitress's suggestion. The tri-tip was good and the bbq sauce was great, the shrimp were fine, but just not as good as I was expecting. Maybe that is on me for ordering something that is easy to do right even for a quick and easy meal at home. I will probably try the hog combo or one of the burgers the next time I go there. My son's grilled chicken was fine, but a little dry and bland, but he only ordered this because of the allergies. Other son and wife did enjoy their sandwiches. I did debate a 3 star, but gave them the benefit of the doubt assuming I would like some other dishes more.
