We have been going there once or twice a year for many years, now with a toddler as well. It is so exciting to see the turtles up close, and moving to read their stories. It's a great place for any age to stop in and view some cool turtles, and learn about ocean life. We get presents for many family members in the shop. I'm looking forward to visiting again soon. I highly recommend this place.

Brought some family to visit the Loggerhead Marine Life Center in which we purchased the behind the scenes tickets in advance. We were able to go behind the roped area and get closer to the turtles that are rehabilitating. Enjoyed the more informed tour and learned all about the turtles. Would definitely recommend for all ages

Loggerhead was so cool! They have tanks with turtles that are recovering in them. The table have windows in the side so the turtles are way to see. They also have volunteers that will tell you about the turtles and how they were rescued.

It's also free, which is a pretty great perk. They have a suggested donation of $5, if you want to contribute.

What an awesome place. If you love turtles this is a place to check out. From babies hatching to big older turtles who need some care. We saw a turtle getting an IV while we were there. The employees and volunteers are truly dedicated to these beautiful marine creatures. Great educational experience for young and old. Highly recommend.

Stopped here to kill time on the way to the Airport to go back home to Ohio. Breezed thru the museum and outdoor tank area in about 45 minutes but wish I could have stayed longer. I would reserve 2 hours to take your time with the small museum, see the turtles, and finish with the gift shop. Maybe call and ask if they have a tour and book even more time. Nice modern clean facility doing good for the turtles!

Great place to take the family! Although it seems a little small, it's amazing what this place does. They rehabilitate sea turtles and release them to hatch babies on the shore which is the only place in the world besides somewhere in Jordan (and who knows what they do for the turtles). The gift shop also has some wonderful gifts. I would definitely recommend!

This is a must see stop if your in the area. Very informative information on different turtle species and issues the turtles come across. The rehabbing turtles are out in tanks for the public to see and the stories on each one are interesting to read. This is a free destination and donations are welcomed.

A great service to the community, caring for and returning turtles to the sea. On top of that they are extremely visitor friendly, offering both public and private tours. Visiting here was the highlight of a recent trip to Florida for my kids. I can't recommend it strongly enough. I've also heard great things about their camp experience.

So worth visiting! First of all, they are treating TONS of turtles in the many viewing tanks, and not just loggerheads, but also leatherbacks and greens. My favorite were the baby turtles. Besides seeing cute turtles, I enjoyed learning from the exhibits about the ecological problems affecting them. It has made me think about ways to reduce disposable plastics in my life. I'm rooting for the turtles!

A fun "free" place to visit. Donations are suggested. We were asked about masks for our almost 2 year olds, but as they aren't yet two they were not required. We saw many turtles in tanks, one receiving a shot, and another in surgery. Very interesting! Kids played on the little animal statues in the play area. We spent about 2 hrs visiting. All visitors were required to wear masks whether in or out of doors.

What a great facility. Loggerhead MarineLife Center is doing something really great and they are sharing it with the public!

Loggerhead offers educational exhibits with their current patients (Sea Turtles) and lets the public come in and look around, you cannot touch the animals which is great, but you and your little ones will be able to observe these beautiful creatures.

The center has a small educational aquarium, outdoor turtle exhibits, play area, animal hospital viewing area, and is located by a large playground, and at the beach, it is a great family site. I really loved that we also saw a wild gopher turtle while leaving the beach!

Please make sure you donate before you leave!

Absolutely love this place and what they are doing! Got to watch them release the baby sea turtles to the ocean and it was an amazing experience! I had 5 of the baby turtles walk over my feet to get to the ocean ! The volunteers are very knowledgeable about the turtles and very informative!
