Very very poor quality due to the Director Carolyn Schwartz not able to provide resources. The youth Center is not a good one. 2 years ago my children started, recently , we've decided that we will no longer attend. Employee's also need to provide activities and respect to the children. Carolyn S. Has been the downfall in regard to the quality.

I thought this would be a great place for my daughter to spend her summer. However, their program is disorganized, and the staff seems confused about who is where and what they're supposed to be doing. They offer field trips but you can't sign up for them until the week before and you have about an hour to do it before all the spaces are filled. Apparently, some days the pool is overcrowded and my daughter as well as other children have been kicked in the face. I'm very disappointed in this facility and will not be sending my daughter there again.

Well the YMCA has managed to turn a descent club into a cut rate, no frills pile of horse pucky.
My advise to Litehouse is Stop attaching your name to this dreg of a company ..unless you want to be known as Cheep!
Its unfortunate that this "out of state" business has brought its uber "low"achieving business practices to Sandpoint.

Just a great location! I've worked out at several gyms nearby, but I've been very happy here at the YMCA. The staff is simply fantastic, and I always feel comfortable with child watch. The weight room is big and we'll equipped, and there's enough treadmills I've never had to wait. It is more expensive then some of the other gyms, but it's been worth it to me.

Health and Wellness Programs

At the Lighthouse/City YMCA, we believe that everyone should have access to resources that promote good health. That's why we offer a wide range of programs designed to help you achieve your fitness goals. Whether you're looking to lose weight, build muscle or simply maintain your current level of fitness, our experienced trainers can help you get there.

Our state-of-the-art facilities include cardio equipment such as treadmills and ellipticals as well as strength training machines like free weights and resistance bands. We also offer group fitness classes such as yoga, Pilates, Zumba and cycling.

Community Programs

The Y is more than just a gym; it's also a place where people can come together to connect with others in their community. We offer programs designed to bring people together around shared interests such as art classes or book clubs.

We also host events throughout the year that are open to everyone in the community. These events include things like holiday parties or outdoor movie nights during the summer months.

Child Care Services

We understand how difficult it can be for parents to balance work and family responsibilities. That's why we offer child care services at our facility so parents can work out while their children are supervised by trained professionals.

Our child care services are available for children ages six weeks through 12 years old. We provide age-appropriate activities such as arts and crafts projects or story time so children stay engaged while their parents exercise.

Volunteer Opportunities

At the Lighthouse/City YMCA, we believe in giving back to our community through volunteerism. We offer opportunities for members of all ages to get involved in service projects throughout the year.

Whether you're interested in volunteering at a local food bank or helping out at an animal shelter, we have opportunities available that will allow you to make a difference in your community while connecting with other like-minded individuals who share your passion for service.
