Nice and helpful, plus seems well run. I was shocked the staff weren t wearing face masks very irresponsible. I am too scared to go back again.

As a regular visitor to Lichfield I wish to complement the city for its heritage-its wonderful cathedral the cathedral shop chapter house River and Park which are a delight. Lovely selection of shops cafes and restaurants.I have always noted how clean tidy and litter free Lichfield is. Well done. Recent carols by candlelight service i attended with friends at the cathedral was fantastic. Cathedral needs to have toilets for its visitors /parishioners.

No support no care for disabled people that have full capacity.

I had to write a review to give a different perspective to the 1 star reviews that seem laughable compared to areas and councils that I had to deal with when i lived in London. Everytime I have had to contact Lichfield Council the phone has been picked up in a quick to fair time frame, my enquiries/complaints or requests have been dealt with fairly and quickly by courteous and helpful members of staff, the pot holes get dealt with in a reasonable time frame when you take into consderation this countries ever changing weather conditions, public spaces seem well looked after (i know this is also down to an army of volunteers) but before writting a negative review, ask your self....is it really that bad, and think to yourself thank god you do not live in Croydon, then you would know what hardship really is.

Accidentally paid for two brown bin stickers. Called to try and get one of them refunded as I only have 1 bin and was told they aren't willing to refund or issue me a free sticker for the next year.

Typical councils.

Received a parking ticket for Putting in the incorrect reg number. Just had a new baby so head was a shed. Not sympathetic or understanding at all. Disgraceful

I received a parking ticket despite receiving the below confirmation when paying using the website. I appealed but it was rejected because the payment wasn t taken despite a page stating Your parking has started! . They also didn t reply to my email for my appeal, they opted to post a letter, I assume to increase the likelihood of my paying the lower charge. I have given in and paid, but payment failed twice online showing an error message. I therefore have had to pay by phone.. amateurs and cowboys in all areas.

Substantial pot holes everywhere - one was in the centre of the road and obscured by flood water and causing hundreds of pounds worth of damage. Logged the highways report, submitted the claim on-line with real evidence and repairs invoice. It went to their underwriters and got thrown out.
