Kruger is great but the facilities are not world class, the entry procedures are shambolic and one has to drive through communities who feel it is their duty to trash the environment to get there.
+ praise. One of the best parks in the world for spotting animals (big five). You can do various types of safaris, from self drive along the paved road that connects the camps, to highly skilled rangers who scan the tracks of predators to track them down (obviously to take pictures). The vegetation ...
One of the most amazing lifetime trips, huge number of free animals living in their natural habitat, may to august is dry season and animals will be near small ponds, lakes and rivers, other months are greener because it rains. Drive all day, safari at night and early morning. The official park camp...
We visit the Kruger National Park every year, where we enter at Crocodile Bridge gate. The amount of traffic this year was very high, so we have major concerns about the number of animal deaths on the roads. This year these deaths were More
Kruger is still a fantastic place to visit and a valuable national asset. Law and order though seems to be crumbling. Many people totally ignore the speed limit.
NO WIFI IN NATURE'S PARADISE **In this documentation, I shall confine myself to my experience at Kruger park to help other visitors, but not about the park itself, but for posting some photographs captured during our 13 day stay there. My wife and I flew in to Skukuza Airport inside Kruger Nationa...
What to say about this park. Without leaving the paved roads you can see most of the animals. We focus on the southern area and enjoy watching all kinds of wildlife. The area between Skukuza and Lower Sabie is where we saw more life since the road that joins them goes along the Sabie River. Respect ...
First of all the park is very well kept. Secondly, have to give it to all the tour operators also who's stff is really diciplined and courteous. We saw big 4 of the 5 and one in our party saw the cheetah at a distance. So it was really good for us.
Kruger National Park has really moved with the times! The checking in process was simple and the staff efficient and helpful. I visited 3 times in the free week so this was brilliant! All the rest camps have been upgraded. Signage is good and all facilities in good order ( including the toilets). I ...
Amazing animals in their natural habitat. The Kruger Park is definitely a must visit. Put it on your bucket list if you have never seen it. To see ginormous animals in their natural habitat is exhilarating. There are no words to explain seeing giraffes moving elegantly in the park. Turning into a gr...
Absolutely amazing experience, we'll gladly come again.
The park gives a renewed appreciation for nature but, at times, leaves you feeling that humans should not be allowed in the park and should rather be kept out to view things from a greater distance.
Beatiful place,my son Ayrton and I were lucky enough to spend 3 days and 2 nights. We saw Leopards,Lions,Elephants, all kinds of baboons and the landscape is beatiful. I wish I could go again!
The park is beautiful, there are a lot of animals and the organization is at the top when you use the 4x4 accompanied by a Rangers. However, there are really too many people. In addition the fact that the majority of roads are paved break the Safari aspect. It would no doubt be necessary to return ...
Wonderfull. Everything is green. Animals are plenty. Stayed at berg and dal, wonderful camp. Very friendly staff but the accommodation is not up to scratch. Broken chairs and roof that needs to be redone. But utherwish it was wonderful. Please go if you want to see big 5 plus more. Enjoy.
Walkable autonomously by following the instructions better if with 4x4 to be able to walk the rough but less trafficked slopes and be able to enjoy the wild nature in peace. We have seen everything: elephants, zebras, gazelles, rhinos, lions, buffaloes and leopards. Often noticed imprudence in getti...
The ablutions at Pretorius Kop and Skukuza are not good. Dispensers not working , basin drains blocked. Towelling all over the floor. Doors do not lock This is my first visit in 2 years and I am embarrassed as a SA citizen. I am also a pensioner but find the cost of accommodation prohibitive
