Bell lake loop, can't get enough of it. My favourite and in my opinion the most scenic short portage loop in Ontario. Added bonus of having access to silver peak trail hiking which has spectacular views. See you again soon!
Beautiful views everywhere and convenient canoe, kayak and paddleboard rentals available. Even saw a young moose near the Killarney Outfitters store. Great place to camp, swim, paddle and hike (The Crack was so fun!). Will be returning next year!
Great place to camp, beautiful views. Bug spray is a must!! Bathroom was pretty dirty and very very smelly haha. And we're used to other parks giving out maps, and giving tips on hiking trails etc. we got no map, info, fire wood etc. I guess we've been spoiled by the Bruce
There was lots of amazing sceneries and unbieliveble experience in camping to me: swimming on Oct 8th, hiking, climbing on Rocky hills, encountering a black bear twice in our campsite, seeing a brown snake( about 1 meter length) in George lake. 3 beautiful lakes linked together in 3 different level...
Gorgeous landscape and scenery, more hiking trails than we could hike in a long weekend, rented a canoe and went canoeing. Very friendly staff at the gatehouse. It was a wonderful experience.
Everyone who lives in Ontario should make time sometime in their lives to visit this provincial park. There are dozens of different canoe routes, hundreds of campsites, a bunch of hiking trails and a ton of lakes to swim in. The lakes are crystal clear (some of the clearest water in Ontario) and a w...
One of my fav provincial parks, although not as big as Algonquin but it s definitely better organized and maintained. Well thought beaches and picnic areas, clean, less crowded, clear water.
Very organized and clean site. They offer firewood and kindling wood at the registration office and the prices are very good! The comfort amenities (showers, washrooms) are very clean and open 24 hours for your convenience. The staff are a great help with it comes to the getting to know the area and...
Wonderful campground, beautiful lake aside from all the bugs we had a good stay. Cam at the visit centre was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks for the hiking suggestions Cam!
Wow is all i can say. I thought it would be really nice and worth a visit on my way through. Stayed 2 nights longer than i intended, purely because of all the natural beauty and great trails. Took a last day out on a canoe exploring and im glad we did. I already cant wait to come back there
Decided to try something different and headed out to do some winter camping in one if the park s yurts! Super cool experience and would definitely recommend. Only thing I would have liked was a clear map of where to find the yurt seeing as I arrived alone after the office was closed and was alone in...
One of the nicest parks in Ontario. It'd drive-able from major cities, but still remote enough to have a lot of undisrupted nature. Lots of really nice hiking trails. The park although large, doesn't have a lot of campground space, and it fills up pretty quickly. If you intend on going, book early.
My family has been visiting George Lake every year for over half a century, camping, portaging, hiking, and just enjoying the beautiful sights and scenery and it never gets old. Majestic old growth trees in the interior, pristine, untouched lakes and wilderness t...
Killarney provincial park has incredible trails and waters. There are great portages for beginners and experienced hikers. The environment is so breathtaking for artists and photographers. I spent two days on a solo portage on David lake.
Best of all parks to go to yet! Beautiful scenery. Quiet campsites. Canoe campsites far and near.Everyone is out and about on canoes, hiking trails, or just enjoying the sites. It is hard to get one of the 135 sites. One must reserve to ensure a site. A place to visit more than once b/c there is so ...
Awesome Provincial Park. This park is roughly 5 hours from Toronto which makes it a little more quiet than the other provincial parks we have visited in the past. It is nice to enjoy the outdoors without running into so many other people. The last time we visited the park we did get the opportunity ...
This beautiful provincial park has incredible scenery and hikes. The relatively uncrowded campgrounds are relaxed and nice for bike riding (there are some hills) There are a couple of small beaches for kids and some nice spots for swimming off rocks. Canoeing and kayaking are popular here for day tr...
Crystal clear water. Incredible canoeing and camping. Lots of trails. The hike to silver peak is a must. Have been going here for many years and have never been disappointed. You might even see a bear or two...
wonderful, and beautiful. Went four years In a row, and it just as good every time. Pack up, and go for hike with you're friends for a few nights it's great.
Slow, very quiet during our stay, last week in June. Smart, courteous staff, great campsites at George Lake. I wonder if there are waits at the one full bathroom during high summer season. Extremely well maintained. Great paddling
One of the best portage places I've been to. The nature here is RAW, the water is amazing, the lakes really deep, and the challenges to surpass are not for the begginer. We've been here a week ago with friends for 3 days, crossing 8 lakes and 2 campsites, an experience to last in the memory. My spec...
I'm reluctant to tell you how much I love this park. We go backcountry. Very hard to get a reservation to a great Lake but damn! It's very Wabi - Especially when the weather is inclement. Competent staff. They need to address the bear- hang problem - too many broken branches
Gorgeous place. Clean great kayaking, exploring, swimming and fun for the whole family...make sure to get gas early on before getting tot he park because the only gas station is in town is much more expensive and hard to get into if you have a trailer.
We had yet another amazing canoeing trip in Killarney. Doing it for the past 5 years, my whole family keeps enjoying its gorgeous nature, the place is one of the most beautiful parks in Ontario. Staff is very friendly, canoe rentals are quite convenient at Bell and George lake access points, we usua...
Really enjoyable for camping, canoeing, and hiking. The park is full of different trails, including the crack trail which does take 4 hours hours to complete but has an amazing lookout. In addition, the lakes and mountains create a really nice scenery for long canoe rides which you can rent at Kil...
A great park! I recommend going to the Silver Peak as it has the greatest view of the park, and going to the Topaz Lake on the way back, both hikes take around 6 hours and include canoeing, hiking and bouldering!
It was okay. I will prefer Grandy Lake over this one. Too much miskito, Canoe rental expensive for a day and washroom is not the best. We had Chase few racoons.
This is a great place to camp. I find Killarney generally more relaxing and quiet than parks closer to Toronto. There is a good number of exciting hikes here at different levels of difficulty. There is also a lot of canoeing and kayaking possibilities. Go Explore!
