Wow what a beautiful location. For individuals and small groups

Really beautiful setting and amazing architecture. Rooms were good size, clean and luxurious. Dog friendly and they are able to be around the property and trails in the woods (just not in the dining room and golf course). The restaurant was also great.

Nice location for lunch, dinner or stay.
It exudes old luxury and it makes relaxing very pleasant.

In het weekend van 18 en 19 januari 2020 hebben wij met onze gasten bij u gelogeerd en gedineerd ter gelegenheid van ons 45 jaar samenzijn .
Wij willen u graag bedanken voor het prettige verblijf. De kamers overtroffen onze verwachtingen. De amuses bij de borrel waren erg mooi en lekker.
Het diner Menu du Chateaux was heerlijk en verrassend. De wijnen waren heel bijpassend. Wij hebben er van genoten en fijn dat met onze dieetwensen rekening gehouden kon worden.
Een speciaal woord van dank ( zonder de andere medewerker tekort te willen doen) gaat uit naar de medewerkster die ons tijdens ons gehele verblijf zo perfect, professioneel, vriendelijk en zorgzaam heeft begeleid en ons steeds op de hoogte hield en steeds anticipeerde op wat er kwam.
Syreena, heel hartelijk bedankt. Jouw inzet tilde het feestje naar een hoger plan.

Very nice location on the Veluwe and in a very well maintained castle / castle. Both the restaurant, lobby and the rooms are authentic and give the right and relaxing feeling. The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable. The wine cellar is a must to visit and the food was fantastic. Highly recommended for a weekend away!

A really lovely old castle/manor house. Our suite was in the orangery building, very spacious, with its own terrace. The garden/park looks wonderful during early hours. Unfortunately the decor looks really dated. Our bathroom had a frieze with elephants and zebras - kind out of place in the Netherlands, right? The owner is somehow connected to South Africa, but do the guests have to have a safari experience in their bathrooms?
The salon in the castle looked really bad, maintenance seems to be a problem. The restaurant is good, wines (all South African) great. During breakfast, a waiter was re-filling the cutlery drawers of a sideboard (very noisy). Is this necessary?

Exclusive place of excellent level. From the moment you arrive you will find a comfortable and safe parking lot. The facilities are of refined taste, with a fine and pleasant decoration. Their bar service is complete, from typical beers and snacks to cocktails and gourmet dishes.
It has several levels of balconies and terraces with an unbeatable view. The internal facilities offer The golf course is friendly and very beautiful. Recommended for golfers who like challenges in a unique environment. You feel a king from the moment you arrive until the last minute of your stay. Do not miss out on living this experience.

Looks nice. However, main building quite a bit of overdue maintenance. The garden behind can also see a gardener again. Operation very nice and smooth. Snacks and drinks are super.

I have been there many times and will definitely be back. Fantastic beautiful castle with an eye for detail. Food is sublime just like the wines. Beautiful rooms. Once in a while you must allow yourself to go to Engelenburg Castle.

A big 10. What a beautiful location for a nice lunch, a challenging round of golf, a wine tasting in a beautiful wine cellar, a whiskey tasting in a beautiful salon and / or a wonderful dinner in the beautiful conservatory ...! Superlatives fall short. I go here more often.

Extremely disappointed in the management of Kasteel Engelenburg that allows their guests to pay for the mistakes they have made when providing incomplete / incorrect information on their website regarding the reservation of lunch. It is incomprehensible that they also try to put it in my shoes, but in the meantime adjust the website based on my complaint, which proves that I am right. Perhaps compensation? No, unfortunately, they do not know that word at Kasteel Engelenburg, which shows a very unprofessional and inadequate management. I will certainly not recommend Castle Engelenburg to our bridal couples!

Partly due to the extremely friendly and professional staff, excellent cuisine, accommodation, historic location and challenging golf course, my wife and I had a wonderful weekend.

Very nice job. Well maintained, great greens. You walk in the woods. It all looks great. Afterwards, enjoy a drink on the terrace of the castle. Amazing, right?!

Certainly a very attractive and inspirational stately hotel, situated in serene natural surroundings (including a 9 holes golf course), with a very pleasant, professional and helpful staff and a fine French cuisine

A beautiful building in a great environment. Wonderfully spacious rooms. And a whiskey collection to be jealous of.

Near Brummen train station, just outside the built-up area at the end of his own estate. Beautifully maintained castle (more like a very large mansion), with the coach houses as accommodation. Spacious, clean, good beds and spacious bathroom. Located on a golf course and enough space for walking. Been there myself for business. Spacious and beautiful bedrooms. Also spacious spaces that are suitable for larger groups with available materials for performance. Himself with 20 people there Friendly staff, hospitable and also made use of the 4-course dinner, extensive breakfast (buffet) and lunch (buffet) on location. The food was excellent. All in all a very enjoyable stay and recommendable.

Superb! Great friendly team will make all efforts to make your stay memorable. The 9 hole golf course is challenging and scenic. Cuisine is creative and delicious. Amazing wine cellar.

Had a fantastic stay during my brother's wedding. No question was too crazy, everything could be taken care of. It was not even a problem to take the dog. Very friendly staff, with an enthusiastic man who knows everything about whiskey, nice to discuss with you late in the evening which whiskey is the tastiest.

Hospitality with a capital letter. You feel a very valued guest here and the food is excellent.

we walked the golf course and had lunch. The golf course was decent. Lunch complicated and mediocre.
We were 4 people, had made reservations but were not allowed to sit together. not even at 1.5 meters. The salmon was broom salt, the bun rather hard. A steak knife to cut the sandwich is not given on an invitation. Disappointing!

I am going to play golf tomorrow. I am curious if the + points are true.

Super location for wedding, birthday and event. We were able to entertain in the castle with our band Sonny's Inc. The service is of an extraordinary level and very friendly staff. highly recommended!

Very unfriendly staff! Two young girlfriends cycle all the way from Apeldoorn here to make a nice "photo shoot" of the building that they found so beautiful for their hobby (photography). Are they - even after they have neatly explained what they are doing - just being snapped away by one of the waitresses .... I know where we will NOT at least be celebrating our wedding !!

It was once a holiday resort for the staff of the then ABN bank. Now it is a top class restaurant and hotel with a golf course and meeting rooms
