Brenden is very professional. He is organized, on time and experienced with photography. My family and I had so much fun at our mini shoot. He made us feel welcomed, comfortable and we absolutely loved all our pictures. Plus he was able to capture some beautiful shots of our new puppy, which were so adorable! We had our first family photo shoot done with Brenden a couple of weeks back and the photos are amazing!! First, it was super easy to schedule a session with him. Himself and Steph answer right away and made booking very simple even with our busy schedules. Second, he made my husband and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera (and we don t do photos like this often). He was even able to make sure our puppy was looking in all of the shots. I love all of the ideas he brought to the session and the location he chose. We would absolutely take photos with Brenden again and highly recommend Joy Photography to anyone looking for professional photos.

I used Brenden's service to capture a very important moment in my life. Throughout the whole process he was my biggest cheerleader, easing my nerves. He was very well organized, very responsive, and showed so much enthusiasm and positivity. He made sure everything went smoothly on the day of the shoot, adjusting his shoot time to capture the right amount of sunlight.

We couldn't be happier with our experience with Brenden. The goal was to get some nice family photos to document our son as he grows (and because I'm always the one taking the photos so I'm never in any photos!) Brenden didn't have an appointment right before ours so he welcomed us early and made the whole thing so easy and natural. He was so good with our little guy and didn't bat an eye as I jumped all over the place right behind his camera to try to get smiles haha. Despite it being a "mini session" we didn't once feel rushed. He had lots of great ideas for poses, but also asked if we had our own ideas of things we like to do together (i.e. shoulder rides, etc.) He crafted the perfect balance of both candid and posed photos, as well as close-up to see faces and farther away to accentuate the landscape. AND we ended up with more photos than we bargained for! I would definitely recommend Joy Photography Company. It was a super positive experience. Thank you, Brenden!!

We had a very fun mini-session with Brenden. He is super nice and made us feel very comfortable. He also helped direct the photos so we would get nice family shots and was open to photograph the scenes we requested as well. The duration of the session (approx. 25 min) was also very convenient for our baby - not too long neither too short. The best of it wall was to receive our phots in just 2 days - way earlier than expected. By the way - they all look great! Thanks, Brenden!

We recently had family photos taken by Brenden and we couldn t be happier with how they turned out. We have been lucky to work with some really wonderful local photographers over the years, but these photos are definitely some of our favourite ever.
