John B. Parsons

My name is Kelly Sarchiapone and my mom is Helen Kinsey. I recently moved to Delaware and after the facility that I was counting on fell through unexpectedly I was at a loss to get my mom in a facility.
I searched the whole area for a place that I felt I could trust. I finally located John P. Parsons. I had the pleasure to be able to speak with the kindest advisor who I was completely comfortable with. Her name was Peggy Taylor. I knew from the minute our conversation was done this would be the place I would trust with my moms care.
Peggy walked me through the process and provided me with information I needed to share with my brother who also had to be on board. She arranged an intimate meeting for us to come in a safe environment to help us be able to see if it was a good fit.
After review we immediately started the process for getting my mom in the facility.
I had spoken to many places and never felt like I did after speaking with Peggy. It is very hard to take a parent who is not of good mind and trust anyone to care for them on a daily basis. I feel comfort in knowing I have chosen the right place for her. I cannot tell you what a blessing this is for my family. I look forward to having a relationship with the staff at John P. Parsons during the care of my moms remaing years.

I was there to take pictures of one of the wonderful activities in which the residents participate. I could not believe how nice the facility was. So very clean and well maintained! The residents were all smiling, laughing and having a great time. All of the staff were so genuinely nice to not only the guest but all the residents. I would most definitely recommend this facility to any member of my family.

This place is incredible and everyone has treated my mother with care and respect.

I personally like the atmosphere of facility. It s such a relaxing place to visit. My mom loves to sit on the front porch in a rocking chair and look at the view of downtown Salisbury. I too feel so relaxed joining her or I find myself wondering to the library just to read a book.

The team has made my wife and I feel like a part of the JBP family.

Holidays at JBP are a hidden secret of Salisbury. Everyone should stop by just to see the front lobby at Christmas.

My husband an I had a difficult decision to make on becoming a caregiver for his mom. We found it hard in our every day tasks to handle the stress of caring for her even a short period of time. This is where we feel a strong gratitude towards all the staff of JBP.!!! She has been living there since July 2017. We are amazed at how we would have ever managed with out all your help. This facility is the most competent, trustworthy, compassionate and selfless team of caregivers. The kindness and patience is well above standard of care, and it doesn't stop there. Your knowledge and guidance you have given us has been invaluable. Staff is always pleasant and never to busy to listen and extend help at anytime no matter the circumstance. John B. Parsons isn't your typical assisted living; the staff is like a family. Anyone who hasn't seen the updates to facility in the last 5 years should definitely take a look! Beautiful!!

My Aunt has been a resident at John B. Parson Harrison Senior Living in Salisbury, Maryland for nine months. The kind and caring staff and nurses that take care of my Aunt and other residents is truly remarkable. Their patience and understanding when interacting with my Aunt gives me great comfort in knowing that my Aunt is in their care. I am also thankful that my Aunt resides in a senior living facility that has a wonderful Executive Director, Peggy Tyler, who is always ready to help in any way to ensure the well-being of my Aunt. John B. Parsons has an amazing staff that makes you feel at home the moment you enter the front door. It is the staff's number one priority to ensure that each resident is well taken care of. It is a wonderful place.

I am POA for a dear friend who spent two years in another facility in town before I moved her to John B. Parsons. There is a different atmosphere at John B than other places I've visited. There is a warm, homey feeling as soon as you walk in the door. I can't say enough about the leadership and staff, they genuinely care about their residents. It starts with the hands-on nurses and aids to the resident activities planning to the beautiful, interesting building and finally the food - it's awesome! My friend Stella has been there almost three years and I am so grateful to all the staff at John B for keeping her so happy and healthy these years. I highly recommend John B. Parsons for your loved one.

Wonderful facility with a great staff. Always going above and beyond to ensure residents are healthy, happy, and comfortable. Couldn't ask for a better place!
