jed's is really good. "hidden gem" for sure and i am so glad i stumbled upon it. service and food are great. i believe management has changed in the last 6 months or so because the menu and staff have also changed.. i could be wrong.. but the place just seems a little different. as long as it doesn't lose it's jed's charm, we will continue to return :)

In short: this place is amazing, and i cannot wait to bring my husband here! I stopped in for lunch, I was in the area for work and found it via google maps. I couldn't have been more pleased with the entire experience! First of all - the cilantro burger is absolutely amazing. I ordered it on the bartender's recommendation (who i later found out is actually the owner) and it was the best burger I can ever remember eating. The patty was cooked to perfection, there was big juicy mushrooms and perfectly seared onions and melty white cheese with an aoili.....to top it all off - it's on a Hawaiian sweet bun, which i was skeptical of but it tasted so, so, so good. Actually my mouth is watering thinking about it. They also do a mixture of regular and sweet potato fries, i think they call it silly fries or crazy fries, and that was awesome because I can never decide which to choose, and I didn't have to! The owner, John, told me about the place and how it is a scratch kitchen - and you can certainly tell the love and attention that goes into the food from the amazing tastes. 5 stars all the way, can't wait to go back.

At $7.49 Stella's Meatballs were great as an appetizer and a good value. The Potato Soup was thin mashed potatoes with little flavor, not much better that the baseline library paste. Needs to have more cream and small chunks of potatoes rather than mashed.

Service was great.

I loved this place. It had a great atmosphere. It is very casual and relaxed. The service was very good. Our server Asia, was very cheerful and warm. She made us feel like we were at a friend's for lunch and drinks. I had the Italian Meatball Burger. It was juicy, cheesy and delicious. The Frose drink was perfect. It was like a frozen sangria, but with more flavor. I will come here again!

We came all the way from Baltimore, MD to attend a Cowboys game. We were sure to make a specific stop at Jed's Grille. Based on a friend's recommendation. And it was worth the trip!
The atmosphere is Family Friendly, as well as the staff. They were very attentive and easy to talk to. The food was AMAZING!! Imagine the best burger you ever had, and then take it up a notch. The Bloody Mary was practically a meal in itself. We ordered the Brisket Nachos for the table, and I would go back, just to have an order all to myself. The Rice Pudding is a family recipe, that is creamy and delicious. Jed's Grille was one of the highlights of our Dallas trip, that we all still talk about. We have nothing in our area that compares. The only negative, is the fact that there is no Jed's Grille in Baltimore. I highly recommend this place. To sum it up, Jed's was DELICIOUS!!

Friendly staff, but really slow food service. 26 minutes from order entry to food showing up to the table. The restaurant was less than 50% full at the time at 11:08 am. Mimosas helped, but my son and I eventually ran out of normal things to talk about and ended up insulting each other with texts lol.

Took my grandparents here after I found this spot wandering the city. They told me when they came back to Dallas that this would be a place for them to eat at again... I say job well done, and the waitress Breanne I think it was is awesome. Thank you for great service!

Just moved from Tucson. IF I COULD GIVE A MILLION STARS I WOULD. This is the best food ive had yet in Texas. Everyone was so kind an polite and well the whole staff helped each other. If our waiter was not available then someone else stepped in and helped. I will definitely be back.

This little gem is tucked away in Oak Cliff, it s got an old school vibe with new school food. Their brunch is forever my fave in town! We always try to make it out when we can. They have bar seating and table seating, the prices are perfect and the food is nothing but wonderful! They just had a new menu come out this week to revamp the amazingness everyone already knows and even I haven t tried it out, I can t wait!!!!! Steve is the wonderful and oh so talented bartender and John is the face to face owner of the joint, both would love for you the come say hey and wouldn t mind showing you what excellent food and service actually means.

People are handing out 4 and 5 star reviews on yelp like candy on Halloween. It's crazy! If I give a restaurant 3 stars, it is a good restaurant and I'll be back. I don't give out 4 or 5 star rating unless the food is exceptional. That's what I received here.

I decided to go with the Cilantro Burger since it is their #1 seller and boy was that a great choice. I ordered it medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. Not sure the exact size but this is a big thick juicy burger (much bigger than most places). The flavors were great and I had no desire to add any condiments to it (i often use Tabasco on burgers). The fries were good (I have nothing bad or great to say about them).

The prices here are great. $10 for a huge burger and fries. Tomorrow is $5.99 burger day (just a base burger but still awesome). They have different specials everyday and my receipt says I can bring it back for 10% off my next meal....yaye!!!

I noticed that previous restaurants in this spot have not had much success. I came here at like 2:45pm, which is obviously the slowest time of the day but I was literally the only person in here. That's a damn shame when somewhere like Off-Site Kitchen (with far inferior burgers) will be busy throughout the day. I really hope that locals support this restaurant as it is one of the few spots that creates truly great food. Sure, lots of other restaurants are receiving 4 and 5 star reviews but the true foodie should be able to tell the difference and realize that Jed's is a cut above most restaurants in Dallas.
