The food here is the best I've tasted in a brewery. The hotdog and mac n cheese is must try.
Enjoyed the old location and now really like the new one. Good beer selection. Great atmosphere. Enjoy date nights with my wife there. They do offer growler fills.
A vast amount of beer to choose from. The beers I had were pretty good. Also liked the food. Will definitely come back .
There appetizers suck. I been twice and order 2 different appetizers and both times they sucked. Beer is okay I do prefer lighter beer.
Enjoyed the saisons on tap right now- honey badger and Half past dead. Very good!
The place was great and the prices were reasonable but lack entertainment
Great local craft beers ...I highly recommend the upstairs outdoor bar
I10 ipa tastr like a grapefruit got shredded through a blender with the contents of my mother and daughters colostomy contents. However, stuffs strong. I feel goooood.
When I came to your establishment it was my first experience. I had no idea what to expect when I enter the place. I tried to order to Chedar burgers (revised) (2) but was told they were not available so my wife ordered a pulled pork sandwich and I ordered a knock-off big Mac . When the food arrived the fries had an extremely large amount of salt on them. The salt was visible to the naked eye. I requested they make me another batch of fries. I was told no and offered $3 compensation. Although I paid $1.75 for each order of fries which was two(2). I was adamant that they make another order of fries the cashier said no. A cook came out of the back and said he will make more fries. When the fries arrived they were half the fries that were originally sent to me. I explained there were two orders of fries my wife had to show him the receipt and he brought another order of fries slammed them on the table and said you are welcome. While speaking to other patrons at the establishment the cook and the cashier came out and became confrontational. I disposed of the french fries. Requested a business card from the bartender. I have never been so humiliated in my life that someone will be upset because I ordered at closing time which I had no idea what time the place close when they could have just said we are closing or the kitchen is closed. The staff intentionally gave me salty fries and a salty Burger I appreciate them giving my wife a delicious pulled pork sandwich but the experience that I had was Unforgivable. Please train your employees that business hours are business hours you can't punish your customers for coming in at closing time when the customer has no idea what time you close or it is their first experience at your establishment. On that note I would recommend you not visit the establishment when they are closing. And the employees need to learn not to come out of the back confronting customers while speaking to other patrons. They cannot justify what they served me.
Great craft beer, great location, wonderful staff and an amazing burger!
Worst service I've ever experienced
Bad
Hands down my favorite beer in Jacksonville, wish they made more than 3 in cans, I just can't get enough!
Bar is always clean and staff is friendly!
Keep it up!
Great upper deck! Closes too early after games though.
Neat layout and good beer. I wish they had more vegetarian options on the menu though. The food I could eat came out quickly and was pretty good. I highly recommend the pimento cheese and crackers.
Knowledgeable and awesome bar staff, fantastic beers. Sampled a six-pour flight and would have gladly returned for a second. Great vibe; cheers!
The featured beer was great, also liked the casual set up. Super packed so go early
Always happy to have a beer here. Very spacious inside with a roof top patio. The Peoples' Pale Ale is a personal favorite of mine, honoring the productive in society. And, they make the best hand sanitizer next door.
Visited for the first time on a Saturday prior to going to concert a Dailys Place. So glad we went here, as there was a decent selection of beer for all tastes and the brisket sandwich was really good. We arrived around 4:30 and glad we did. We had plenty of time to drink a few and order food. About an hour after we arrived there was a line of about 10-15 people waiting to order beer & food. The place has ample room for a large crowd but food ordering will be difficult if busy as there was only one line for ordering. Will go here every time we visit Dailys Place. Easy 5 minute walk from Dailys Place parking lot.
Small servings. Wings burnt to a crisp.
Congratulations on finding out that McDonald's Big Mac sauce is Thousand Island dressing but your burger is still not worth $11.
Everything is sold separately so your gonna pay more.
There is no sign close to the door posted indicating that you place your order towards the back, & lazy employees don't egknlowlege you to offer guidance even if your sitting at the table lost and confused for 5 minutes. Pay attention. Help people. Your set up isn't normal. Its cool just not normal so help customers.
Food is terrible, wait staff has the *earn my attention* attitude, no fans on the roof in florida, and the final straw last call at 10:30pm on a friday when the bar is packed. Do the owners hate making money?
If you'd like to sweat your nethers off, get crappy food, and leave after your first beer hit this crapper up!
Edit: 30 minutes later still waiting on food only to get cold stuff. The only people that cared was the kitchen staff which remade our fries and pretzels after they came cold.
Mediocre beer with extremely poor customer service.
Great beer wonderful service, nice people, great atmosphere.
We went to get a drink at 9:00 pm on Saturday Nov 5th and because they had opened "early" for the Navy v. Norte Dame game they had already closed and weren't serving beer... huge turn off. If you don't want my business on Saturday night at 9pm I don't know when you want my business...
If you are in the area, and have already tried Bold city, this is worth the visit! My advice: get two flights, try all 12 beers. (There are typically 14, but one or two are out or not avail on flight). I just wish the place was a bit more illuminated. Great bartenders, very knowledgeable!
Delicious! Get down here if you can. Worth the trip.
I wanted to like this place. It s a cool building, the layout inside is nice, and the vibe seemed pretty good. Though I was there on a Jaguars game day so it probably isn t usually so rowdy/obnoxious. Another positive is that the food was pretty good! But in the end, this brewery is extremely disappointing because, well, the beer just isn t good! It s astoundingly mediocre, especially for a brewery with a local reputation. The actual quality of the products seems up to the standard, but the quality of the beer is lackluster. Nothing I ve had from them so far has been remarkable. All their canned offerings are bland, as well. Fun place for a few beers with friends but I don t plan on returning.
The place was great and the prices were reasonable but lack entertainment
Nothing amazing to see here, I can see how the locals would appreciate it before a Jax game, but the beer list is fairly generic. I am a bit surprised at the number of high reviews. They have a generic beer for everyone, but nothing to write home about, and brew pubs like this are a dime a dozen. The building layout is nice and a lot of space, food was good (I got the Tempah sandwich), good service, but if you are on the hunt for good beer, I recommend Aardwolf.
Not a good brewery experience. Typically when I go into a brewery I am greeted with a smile and quickly helped, that wasn t the case here. It was not even busy and I sat down at the bar but it took about 5 minutes for someone to come greet me and ask if I ve been helped. Then I asked for a flight and they dropped the flight board in front of me and left. Then ANOTHER employee took my order after another 5 minutes. A lot of miscommunication and poor customer service. Try another brewery like Hyperion or Bold City in the area!!
Intuition has a nice little setup here. The lower level provides the usual taphouse, brewing equipment, and games, while the upper deck provides a patio bar overlooking the street with Everbank Field in the distance. They host a respectable list of beers at reasonable prices. Worth checking out along the ale trail.
Intuition seems to be only a beer brewery BUT NO... I had a big surprise with my 3 boys and my mom... they had life salsa, the best one LPT salsa band and the food is superior. The Philly cheese Stake was soo delicious and the burgers were perfect even the kids meal was super good (I tried them myself all). My kids asked me to take them again to eat there, they sayd "worth to be repeated" and if you see what I feed them THAT is lot to say.
This place is unique mixture of sports bar brewery restaurant wonderful staff very friendly atmosphere
LOVE this spot! I have an event coming up here, got a tour, and a complimentary beer duo for a little person like me the 5oz beer options are GREAT! And it s great for exploring other beers I tried the Backpack & Jon Boat Coastal Ale.
Last night my husband and I were involved in a car accident outside this establishment causing major damage to my front bumper. My husband took a chance and asked Mitch from Intuition if he had anything to help hold the bumper on just to get us home. Mitch took the time to not only find us something but even came out to the car to check on us! Although at the time we were unable to partake in all the brewery had to offer (great atmosphere, clean, friendly people, etc.) we definitely will do so when in the area again. Thanks Mitch at Intuition!
We were big fans of the original location, and the new one is nice too. Their beer selection is pretty good. The location is very central, a great space upstairs and lots of options downstairs. The food was above expectations, very good. Derrick is our favorite bartender
Selection of beers is long and can t go wrong with any of them in my opinion. The upstairs balcony is my favorite section.
Just wish they were open longer.
Great service, even after the third beer my table spilt and asked for help cleaning up.
While in JAX I wanted to try one of the many craft beers available in the area. After dinner we drove downtown to try Intuition. It's downtown next to baseball field. If you can't find street parking there's parking behind the brewery. Once you park, walk around to the front of the bar. There's a door on the corner that lets you in. The downstairs bar was nicely done. Wooden table tops and bar stools were easy to find. There were also tables with regular chairs, although those were taken up when we arrived. It wasn't crowded at all until after the baseball game (JAX Jumbo Shrimp). There is also an upstairs bar that has an open air area, but apparently it was pretty full. There was a place to order food and get sodas for the non-drinkers. There is also a counter next to the bar that sells memorabilia and beer to go. I picked up a growler (1/2 gal) for $5 and got it filled for $20. That was after I had sampled some their beers. There was a very good list of beers available on draft (I'll post a pic of the menu). It's kid friendly too. We brought in some Becker's for my boys (7 & 9) but they also had several games next to the memorabilia counter so we played some of those as well. This was a great experience and the beer was really good! This is a must stop for anyone in JAX.
Drinks and food were amazing. Really friendly staff and great location. Walking distance from the stadium so great place to go after a game.
Just went in there for the first time
All me and my girlfriend did was had a couple of beers, but they were great
Friendly group
My wife and I had our welcome party here the night before our wedding. The staff at IAW could not have been better to work with! From the early planning, they were always responsive and the prices were very fair (we actually spent less than we budgeted for as far as the draft beers went). The outdoor rooftop is an amazing venue to hold an event and fit everyone comfortably. We decreed to use an outside caterer as IAW recently stopped working with Black Sheet (I think) and the vendor just dropped off the food without setting much of it up. The staff at Intuition actually helped me set it up! They were amazing!
great place. excellent pizza by pele's fire. bartenders need to learn a bit more about tending time customers.
Loved the cheese curds!!! Will definitely be back. It's a a highlight of the Jacksonville sprts scene downtown and a great location to watch fireworks!
Intuition gives away a confirmed reservation for the Tar Heel alumni game watch with no warning, even though the reservation was confirmed multiple times. From now on I'll drink Budweiser before I'll touch an I10, and I can't stand Bud. You screwed up, Intuition.
Very good beer but the pizza was not that good . Luckily I came for the beer.
Nice selection of beers. Good food and a fun atmosphere. Good prices.
Sadly I was only here for an hour and didn't get to fully enjoy myself.
The beer was a nice surprise, having only seen a handful of their brews distributed in stores I was ecstatic to see close to 20 taps with plenty of new options. I had a wonderful imperial IPA and an easy drinking IPL as well. All the samples I tasted I would have loved to have had more but an hour is an hour.
The food menu is somewhat limited, mostly grill items. The $11 burger was well worth it with two patties, cheese, sauce and shredded lettuce. Bun was lightly grilled. I probably should have gotten some fries to go with as the burger was a tad smaller than I was lead to believe.
Great place to stop in and hang out downtown. Tap room is cool. Good service even on a super busy day. Top spot to hit before heading to a Jax Shrimp game. Excellent selection of craft brews, including some you see in the store plus others unique to the Brewery.
Great space for hanging out with friends. Large selection and variety of beers made on the premises, and a small menu of delicious munchies.
Recently opened an extension to the main floor bar with an entrance on E Forsyth St. They call it the Bier Hall and it's designed for hosting private parties. They hosted the company holiday party with outside catering and their service was excellent. It was a friendly, open, and laid back atmosphere. Not sure what the room capacity is, but there must have been about 150 employees in attendance and it didn't feel too crowded. There was a stage area and plenty of room for dancing.
A virtually perfect brewery taproom and space. The beers can do battle with other top Florida breweries like Cigar City, Funky Buddha, and J. Wakefield any day of the week.
Possibly one of the best brewery s I ve been to! Love to go before Jax Icemen games and it s typically crowded around that time but well worth it!!
Great beer selection. Total pub food that pairs well with beer. Aloof staff. None seemed really happy to be there.
Knowledgeable and awesome bar staff, fantastic beers. Sampled a six-pour flight and would have gladly returned for a second. Great vibe; cheers!
Here for a Jags pregame. Waited in line forever for beer and food. It really made hanging out with your crew difficult. They need an electronic system or hire extra staff if needed. Food was cold and not very good. Wild Misunderstanding is the worst beer I've ever tasted. People Pale is great though. The building is great but no desire to come back until they change ordering system and improve food.
Home of several great beers, including my my favorite: I-10 IPA. Beyond that, a great atmosphere with a friendly staff. There is a BBQ truck on site with awesome food on the weekends.
Has an excellent menu and is an exceptional venue for dinners, dances, or concerts
One of my favorite breweries in jax. Can't wait till they move downtown. Every Wednesday they have a one off but the regular line up is very good on its own. Some Fridays Community Loaves sells pretzels in the taproom.
Update. They finally made it downtown, and the new facility is great. Slowly opening everything up, but this place is gonna be awesome.
The manager that works there is rude and won't accept a temporary ID even though i have the real expired one. If you want a drink on your birthday don't go here.
The poutine isn't traditional but its damn good! Their beers never disappoint! Keep it up!
Love the bar, love the beer but the prices are a touch high
Great spot and building but everything was below average. The bar downstairs struggled to keep up and the shrimp po' boy sandwich $11 for a few fried shrimp on a plain hot dog bun. Everyone raves about this place but I don't get why. Not impressed. Not coming back.
The perfect pre or post concert hang out. The upstairs outdoor area is spacious and has a great view of the area. The beer was great too.
Solid 5 star plus!
Intuition has been one of my favorite Jax breweries since their days on King Street! I was so excited to hear about their move downtown & followed their progress very closely.
Not only do they have great offerings - I10 IPA, Peoples Pale Ale & Jonboat Lager - but they're always brewing up something special!
Location, location, location - theirs is the best! Rooftop bar in the stadium district. Right around the corner from the up & coming Doro district and sharing the same building as Manifest Distilling! That's a recipe for success!
And the house Restaurant is Black Sheep - you can't beat it!
I've attended several special events, tastings, pregame & post game nites here and they're always fantastic!
Great place before an event. Rom was an awesome bartender. Will definitely be back.
Fantastic local craft beers. Staff is friendly and informative.
The new location is amazing, and the beer/service is as good as ever. Cheers to Ben and the team!
The building was not hard to find, I love the sign in front of the door as we entered, very unique. I was getting a while different vibe as I walked through the door, the whole room was filled with our fellow yelpers, so that was pretty awesome.
Sitting by the bar, we were offered to try one of the four complimentary beers and obviously I chose the Jon boat since it was the popular choice of the night. Blck Shp's veggies pickles and cheese platter, mini burgers and mac & cheese were great. We all got to fill our stomachs with these delicious appetizers and mingle through the night before starting our official beer tasting experience. My favorite beer of the night was surprisingly the Dark Star (7%ABV), although it was the darkest out of the 4 we tried, yet it was creamy and sweet with a hint of roasted barley.
I enjoyed learning about the different types of beer, what IBU was, the intensity and their alcohol content. I've gained great knowledge of the company after the tour and truly amazed how the company got started.
This tour and beer tasting was part of the yelp event and it complimentary!
Really nice inside. Events, large but not. Great beer tenders. Regular people giving you great warm and prompt service.
Beer and food were good but most of my time was spent fighting flys.
Watch Brewery while having beer with your friends and family, very nice concept.Great vibe for hangout spot.good food and service.
