If you value your marriage then I would avoid on a Saturday morning. If you're a fan of comedy then head along to the car park loading area and you'll have a hoot.

Good restaurant for kids with good food which is reasonably priced. Shop is always nice and clean with friendly staff able to help.

This is the first time I ve bought Ikea furniture & it certainly won t be the last. The service was excellent from start to finish. The fitters were brilliant, they communicated extremely well. We are absolutely delighted with the furniture, it looks great, is very practical & was competitively priced. We would highly recommend this retailer & would certainly use their low cost fitting service again. Well done Ikea!

This was my first visit to an Ikea store. There is so much to see . Everything is laid out in good order. Some many useful things to help in the home. Many many good practical things to help with storage and keep things tidy. So many items at an affordable price. We came out Witt a lot of good ideas in our heads. And you can sit com have a meal mpwjtpt a coffee. Staff are pleasant and helpful. All in all for me it was a great first experience.

great selection of stuff 5/5

first visit for sometime - visited on 17 Oct 17
they've installed those dreaded self scans tills since we were last there
Store was busy, Only 2 "manned" tills open - with quite a queue at each
not a great experience

yet they had 2 members of staff at the self scan section

Exhausting. It's a maze. Bought more than I wanted too as per usual. Well done IKEA the displays are innovative. Couldnt "not" visit the restaurant for some meatballs - good overall experience. Staff were very helpful throughout entire store and yes we did ask for a lot of help in different departments.

Not much to make it unique to Edinburgh as Ikea's tend to be much the same - but that's why we like them. Great value on key items and you'll always find something you 'need' when you visit, and it would be a shame to walk away without some Swedish chocoloate or some meatballs. Ample parking - for those coming by bus its the number 47 (or the 37 a short walk away in the retail park, although there aren't great pavements/walkways for a pedestrian to get there). The furniture etc is up on the first floor with the restaurant and the (fairly recently expanded) 'markethall' with the smaller items is on the ground level.

Go between 4-7 on a Sunday if you know exactly what you're looking for. It's considerably quieter then. Remember and keep some time for the famous meat balls and hot dogs. Although they've stopped doing gravey and sauce due to problems with allergens. 6 quid for a meat ball meal which included chips and a drink (bottomless cup), hotdog meal, again chips and a bottomless cup and a large hotdog. Just as good as some well know chains and much cheaper.
