The child's families were considered a bit demeaning. Most were grandmothers relaxing.

We stayed at Hotel Terme. Basic clean room on the top floor. The decor, however, was
frozen in the room and the whole building for the 90s. Pretty gloomy lobby and staircase. Room quite reduced. A big plus, however, is the in-room sauna and more than just a comprehensive gym.

The basic hotel, the rooms pretty old and the villa restaurant are over priced. The spa might have been a populaa number on vacation small but otherwise good.

Big lovely family room .... but the decor and colors left behind the 90's .... the room was not any nice reception does candies, flowers, etc ..... coffee machine should be in the lobby .... towels for each member of the family .. ... lobby more comfortable and playground for kids .....

We were at the Scandic Ikaalinen Spa one night now at the beginning of the ski holiday season in Southern Finland. At least I had a bit of a pre-emptive attitude, because there is a lot of negative feedback on the site on the net.

Surprisingly, at least we experienced only positive experiences. For example, room price: one night, three children and two adults, 115 . So five people stayed, swam and ate a very comprehensive breakfast so advantageously even in high season! Here I come back to my first sentence. Considering the price, the room drove it very well, but it shouldn't wait for any Hilton level room with a fair hundred. Of course, the room looked just like the 90s, but for that purpose quite good. The room was a standard in a separate building, but still warm in the pedestrian bridge to the main building (300m?). In the winter, a nice thing.
The room price is still fun to mention. The wife called before booking and made sure that the price for the 140 displayed on the web? Respa was told that yes, and here you still have a discount code that will lower the price to 115. This is also a positive surprise.

The spa was just a basic set. A variety of pools and a small bar where you got a drink and a little salty. The kids were very happy and we were also surprised by the water slides in the spa, which we didn't think of on the net, or at least not in the eye. On the men's side, the shower rooms and the saunas were pretty clean, but of course not the latest.

In the evening we went to restaurant Violetta. I also read a lot of negative feedback about this, but at least we got really nice. The staff were very friendly and the children were very well received. I ordered the dose of Goat Cheese and Chicken. The wife ordered a 'Classic Caesar' salad. At least my chicken dose was excellent and my wife didn't complain about her. The food had to wait a while, but I think it was quite acceptable because the restaurant was almost full (we arrived at 20:40).
Children's desserts included an ice cream dessert. Two of our children were so tired of swimming at this point in the evening that we missed the desserts. However, we were agreed that the children would eat that dessert the next day when we go home. Great service here too! Breakfast was very comprehensive and varied. Nothing to blame.

All in all, we are happy to visit our spa in Ikaalinen. When we leave home, we wondered if next year we should be leaving here? You just have to wonder about the amount of negative feedback you have mentioned on this web site (suomi24, vauva.fi, and Google reviews)

Nice place, I can recommend. This place is very suitable for families with children. For couples looking for special luxury, this is the wrong place.

Hot water and big pools, almost a five star place. I recommend.

Ikaalia's family room was sufficient for us, with three children. The stairs on the loft were too steep for a 3 year old, but we didn't understand it. The room cleaners were really friendly and flexible. That's why the accommodation felt great, even though the building was of age. Value for money.

Cute little spa. Not modern or luxurious, but clean, updated and functional.

Tidy spa and I like when you combine these different buildings, ie smaller price class passengers can get to the pools and restaurants, for example. No need to get outside.

We were eating upstairs. The place is down. No service. The top of everything was an alarm that frightened to enroll when food could be picked up by itself. There were a handful of customers, so the staff could have brought food to the table. Especially when you look at the price level !!

I would have liked to ask about accommodation at Ikaalinen Spa, etc. for 30-50 people and specifically by phone. Why does this good call cost plus a surge and even then the price still and one more price on the call charge? How about a normal cell phone number or a thread number you can call. No email address found for person. There is nothing normal in the contact information, the human name and the normal number. Why not? A long fool. And now a few comments about your experience of hotels, how to get experience in them when you don't get anyone from HUMAN to be able to focus on the needs of such a big group and succeed in getting you there? Nice spa and clean rooms in the main house. Food options low and waitresses unprofessional. Breakfast good.

A really nice place for a family with children. Lots of activities including more than just a spa, such as an exercise room at one time. There is room for improvement and potential for better, but the Ikaalinen area is wonderful for nature.

Corridor sounds are really annoying, door sound insulation is new. Unwanted wake-up as early as 6.30 when a big group of people talked loudly in the hallway.
Breakfast; pretty good but there would be room for improvement in the quality of vegetables, eg dry tomatoes and even when cut, so stubbornly stuck together, at Rantasipi time it wasn't, maybe chopped by itself?
There was still no evening program on Tuesday;
A small piece of salt would have been missed later in the evening, the old curse practice renewed.

The outdoor pool was nice. Slide a little disappointing. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

The only really good thing about the spa was the slide. Only after the dance restaurant 21. Everything is not like that. And the dance restaurant should have been paid inside, even though he lived in the hotel.

The service plays

Spa in a beautiful location by the lake. Autumn holiday week at the spa was a congested and messy, and relaxation very successful. The room (superior) was worn but spacious and neat with cushions super-soft. The service was good in respas and restaurants. The breakfast was crowded, messy, and tough, leaving a bad feeling.

We were in Terme Hotel 400 meters from Maining Main Building. The room is really hot, no air conditioning. Fans were not enough for a few. All places, such as bowling (4 lanes), a spa and a terrace, will catch up to nine even though the best season. Ala carte restaurant closed all summer. Pizzeria with a small selection. Prepared for cardboard. Beautiful setting and nice beaches. However, the operation stopped. Breakfast ok.

Good family spot plenty to do around in all seasons, must cost for tourist to enjoy Finnish nature proper hugge.

Spa ok. I did a little rigging. It is difficult to get food on a Sunday evening after a visit to the spa. Limited supply at the hotel. Ikaalinen Neste found hemp.

We have often departed from the spa pizzeria Rondo for pizza because pizzas have been really tasty. So before that the hotel came to Scandic. After the last visit, the situation had changed since then, and they had introduced bases that tasted cream cracker. It is now that no pizzeria calling itself a pizza can make its pizza on a prepared basis, at least for 13-16 euros. Last time in Rondo, thank you and Hello.

Food very good. Sleeping places could be closer to the spa and others.

Apartments need upgrades. Customer service friendly workers.

Sad when all the services are getting worse. Poor people who do not expect to sell. Nature is the best but the spa is a point of history.

We had booked Terme with sauna, apartamentohuoneen, with the idea and website images and online customer service confirmation that the room is the corresponding images, with alcohol available. One-day mini-holiday at The idea was to get the children to bed behind a screen and stay with your spouse sauna bath and sleep "living room" side. At the hotel it turned out that the room was not imagined, because there was only one room and booked. Expectations are therefore not encountered this time, which was disappointing. We received a 15 refund, which was nice when I first got a respata connection on my phone via a service number queuing (maybe an otherwise paid call?) Because the room phone didn't work. The hotel building in question has certainly been a jewel of its time and is now apparently undergoing renovation, which, fortunately, did not hamper. The visit was just annoying that we had booked a specific room for that particular building, what it was not, and when that added value we missed was boring that it took time and effort, between the tiny building and the spa building, to tumble with the two little children . The Spa Department and the Titi Teddy House entertained our family yes, that is, did not become a waste of fun! And even though there was a winter holiday, the spa and restaurant were well-queued. In addition, we received the purple restaurant very friendly service, when you looked at the role that little credit for the restaurant's side could use.

We were staying at a hotel with a couple of friends from 16-17.11. Rooms clean and bed good, but, but, we had booked a table for dining: the waitress was phlegmatic (with her big false eyelashes). We received an arrogant service. The food value for money is absolutely inferior. As Turku residents we are used to good service and delicious food. What could not be praised in this case. Our pepper steak had never seen pepper and was tough. The food drinks we ordered were not brought until after we had almost eaten and upon request.

The room could have more landing space for suitcases and bedside tables. The shower temperature control did not work.
The breakfast pancake was burnt on the outside and almost raw on the inside. Cauliflower vinegar.

Comfortable one night spa holiday in a Junior Suite. There were few customers, so the attention to safety distances went well. Good food and friendly customer service throughout the stay.

At the reception there was no dinner buffet included in the reservation, but one had to ask. Not welcome, nor is it sure if the area is familiar and where the room is located. Coffee or dessert was not included in the evening's meal. Just a coffee would have been a little improvement. Food was good!

Room clean, as well as spa. The price ratio of food is not right. In Rondo the pizzas are good and big, but otherwise the food dries and the dishes are small. You could improve your comfort with small things. For bowling lanes, lighter balls for kids and also big bowling shoes that don't have to be stocked. In the downstairs playroo, for example, you should upgrade your billiards.

The service was played, the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast had enough choice for the family's most picky A lot of things were found in the hotel and in the yard Restaurant Rondo had a good quality price for a big family.
The hotel and spa might need some refurbishment from here .. (So we stayed in Ikaal)
