I'm not a huge wine drinker but this is my place if I need a few bottles for a meal or a gift. They have a huge selection of interesting off-the-beaten-path stuff and none of it is expensive. The owners are very friendly and involved in the community, experts without being pretentious. I've trusted their recommendations many times and they've never let me down.

Small neighborhood wine store with a vast and diverse selection of wine. This is my go-to place for wine. They are extremely knowledgeable and offer great suggestions if you are adventurous.

Finally found a damned good wine store in St. George! Honor Wines on Bay Street. Beautifully appointed, with super friendly staff (I think they might be a couple) who actually know their inventory and have good reason to take pride in the very good to excellent wines they sell -- all at reasonable prices. Shopping there has been a delight. The heart in the window pretty much says it all--a loving, informed staff that represents the best of what Staten Island has to offer. If you love good wine, you can save yourself the trip to Manhattan. We have been blessed at last.

Family own local wine shop by ferry that does tastings and delivery. Have purchased before. Also, they do a cute email newsletter.

Lorie and Robert go out of their way to help you select your perfect wine, and will subtly make sure it's in your price range. The atmosphere is laid back. You'll walk out with a wonderful wine & will have had a wonderful experience selecting it

Fantastic selection of international wines. Only downside is they don't sell much beyond wine (no hard liquor) but that's also a plus if you like the idea of more shelf space for just wine!
