Arguably one of the top sources for rare and collectible coins and art. While I do not like paying the premiums or the shipping profits, the items are top notch so I am fine compensating HA for the work they perform.

Fantastic experience. They offered a drawing by Richard Hull--an artist I had curated a retrospective exhibition and published a catalogue. The work was as splendid as presented and became the third addition of his work to our collection. Very helpful with my coin collection. Although I didn't have enough for their consignment, they treated me as if I did. Took their time in looking at the coins and gave me a few great verbal grades and verification of my coins. Can't wait till I get better coins to place in one of their auctions. They are one of my too ten authenticators of my coins and collectables.

I have been a consignor as well as a buyer from Heritage Auctions both as an Internet purchaser and attending live sales in Dallas in their Maple Avenue gallery for many years. Every purchase has been profitable and enjoyable and each sale has met or exceeded expectations. I do not know about coins but the Historical department has always been honest, with fast shipping, and offering great pieces.

Called today and asked about consignment options for a coin from Germany's Third Reich era. Was told they don't list coins from that era in history but I searched online and see several coins listen on their website from the Third Reich that have sold in recent auctions and are also upcoming auctions.

I've purchased many items from HA over the years. The quality of their website is top notch. HA allows a search of all prior auctions for evaluation of bid prices. The on-line auction process is superb. The top, go-to source for all types of coins and currency, plus other collectibles I'm not particularly in to. I called them, I have done a good bit of business with them in the past. They have sold things ranging from 900-3,000 for me before,I called with a 1,600 item today and Gary informed me that 5 years ago they had 70 employees and now they have 700 and he was supposed to be off at 5 and now it's 7. He didn't have time to talk he said. NEVER forget you're little people,You never know what they will come across.This I coming from the one that once owned the T-206 Gold Border Lost Back.Im sure there service is great but there customer service isn't worth a Hoot.

First time I ever purchased through an online LIVE auction. Great experience and was a high bidder on an item. Heritage was excellent to deal with. Upon receipt of item , the key was missing. a quick call to customer service and it was on its way. Not sure what happened but I am a well satisfied customer!

I had nothing but a great experience from bidding and winning; the shipment was quick. My bidding was done online and not in person. As for the product you have to do your research and take a chance that what you see on the website is what you will receive.

2 issues: 1. Their billing workout team stole over $2,000 from me. 2. They seem to engender such a hatred from people due to poor treatment that their site was hacked and down for a week. Was our data stolen? I doubt they would admit it, given the level of contempt they seem to have for their customers. No, I'm not going to call client services, just return the stolen money please.

In the last year, I discovered Heritage Auctions via other websites & since then I have thoroughly benefited from its services. Since then, I have won 4 auctions at competitive pricing on items I can t seem to source for reasonable costs at other sites. The weekly auctions seem to be the best place to pick up some bargains even with the 20% buyer s premium as initial bids seem to hold up better than the big quarterly auctions which attract the bigger clients. Other than the recent malware attack, the website & live bidding interface work seamlessly & I have not experienced any problems. Shipping is fast & insured & at reasonable cost. The volume, range & variety of quality merchandise is present in every auction I ve participated in so far and as such, Heritage has become my goto site for auction purchases over other well known sites such as Baldwins, Spinks, & Stacks Bowers. Overall, Heritage Auctions is the best option in live auction websites on the internet.

Be very careful with this company. How many coin sellers allow NO returns? Hardly any because they want happy repeat customers. And they have confidence in their coins. It is hard to buy coins sight-unseen because photos can be doctored and descriptions can be exaggerated.. However with Heritage after they get their 17.5% cut buyer satisfaction is moot. You buy and there are no returns. Go ahead buy from these guys, but there are better deals from private dealers and if for ANY reason you are not happy with the coin they gladly take it back.I laughed about the comment that said Heritage had to be great because they are so large. Look at General Motors.Be very skeptical about any company that allows no returns.............

The best auction site I've ever seen! They have quality products that are well vetted by experts, and the bidding process is transparent and done professionally. I've found some amazing treasures through their website, and I look forward to collecting more and more over the years.

eBay and other online sites like them are often a gamble when it comes to purchasing collectibles. HA is not like the rest, and they go a long way toward making you feel safe when purchasing, and the items I've purchased have always come well packed and secured. No lemons from them!

Correct information, easy contact. They have perfectly and rapidly managed the international shipping to Italy.

How is it that you claim that clients information is SECURE when your auction was hacked and was offline for multiple days . My personal data was out in the hands of cyber criminals. Records of filing can be found with various federal agencies which the hack was reported too. So on top of a lackluster And sub average IT , you add lying, and fake comments to your list? Nothing was secure. I even took screenshots of the Page being down due to cyberattack
Stay away. This auction house is good for buyers not sellers. If you want to buy items at wholesale prices, and his is the auction house for you. But if you are looking to consign, look elsewhere. I lost thousands. They couldn t deliver the bids that they promised. Also their website was down for 5 days of the 30 days of the duration of the auction.

Heritage consistently delivers the highest quality service and material in the rare coin market. I have been doing business with them for several years and never had a single complaint. The selection of rare items they bring to market is absolutely stunning, as is the quality of their publication materials, which are excellent resources for those in numismatics for years.

Have bought from their auctions since 2014. I think for certain coins it would be malpractice to not auction them through Heritage, after they are slabbed by PCGS or NGC. Of course my kid better not ever sell any of his dad's or grandpa's coins, or I will haunt him.
