A decent hostel which is at a walking distance from the beach side. It's clean and polite staff too. A friendly place too. They accept cash to cards. The breakfast given is just okay. The down side is that the air conditioning system switches off if there's no movement in the room, so if you are dead like a log asleep, the aircon will switch off on its own and you will wake up in sweat. Also the flush in the toilet's are bad.

The hostel is well-kept with very friendly and helpful personal.
There were plenty of activities to do organized by hostel staff itself.

Location couldnt be better (close to the beach and local market).
My wife and I booked double room, which was fine (clean big room with AC, TV, gr8 WiFi, breakfast, balcony with sea view, free towels and shower with hot water).

Its not perfect, but its definitly one of better options (especially for students and young people) to stay in Tel Aviv, on budget.
Worth the money, recommended!

A super nice clean and functional youth hostel for breakfast there is a base (eggs, vegetables, cheese, milk, coffee) refrigerators are available to store your own groceries) a stone's throw from the Tel Aviv sea wall and shops / restaurants
We loved the simplicity and the welcome

Reasonable Hostel for a reasonable Price. Staff is nice and always keen to help. The place is not really quiet (airplane entry lane), nothing special and you get a very simple (make your own) breakfast. But you also get what you pay + cheap beer and a nice rooftop.

Very warm, has a neat and clean kitchen, you can share rooms or get private rooms at a good price, the best thing is that it is half a block from the beach and a short walk is the center of Tel Aviv. The breakfast is complete and very healthy. To improve, they would have to renovate some mattresses in the shared rooms. We went in October of 2018.

Gast House / tourist hostel and very nice. A young atmosphere, very friendly prices, close to the sea and options for entertainment. Recommended for young people who want to experience an Israeli Tel Aviv experience without having to destroy the pocket. From this hostel every weekend (Wednesday - Saturday) a tour of bars in Tel Aviv takes you to bars and key clubs in the city at a very low cost and provides free entrances and whips in these places - TLV nights.

This place has a great location. However a receptionist started playing guitar after 1am and woke us up. Also, included breakfast means that there is some bread, eggs, cheese and stuff like that laying around. It's not a buffet, it's just a kitchen with some food :) Not that it's a bad thing, but it's good to know.

Will go over, pluses will find in other comments.
And the minus would be the fact that the windows are balcony and through, and noise, just the wildest noise of construction and machines (if you don t signal 10 times a day, count the day failed, as I understand this is the norm)

Pros: The best part of the hostel is the location undoubtedly. One street away from the beach.
Cons: The breakfast isn't a big deal, they give you things like bread, raw eggs, instant coffee, butter, and a kitchen for you cook. But was fine most of the time for me.
My first days at the hostel I slept very well since my roommates respect each other, but last night when I had to get up very early to go to the airport I couldn't sleep at all, because a group o newcomers started partying, screaming in the stairs, open and close doors, talking loudly, even though I politely ask them to let people rest. I think they should try harder to make people comply silence policy after some time at night.

It was just alright.. the place wasnt clean, The breakfast was rubbish and some of the people there were not respectful of other people,
If youre 20 something, discovering the world and want to be near the beach and dont need space and comfort and dont mind poor hygiene then it is okay, but there is a lot of ambient noise and pollution in the area,
As an older male that is used to spending time in my own company, so I would avoid staying in these places because its cheap, some of the staff where a bit rude and unhelpful, cheeky and money oriented,
Welcome to Tel Aviv...

They gave me a lower category room telling me that they would repay me the night but they didn't. they advertise a pub-crawl saying you can meet other people from the same hostel, but they only told me after selling me the ticket to go to another hostel for a pub crawl not organized by them at all. At the reception desk, they were almost always unkind and annoyed to answer a question. Bad breakfast with very little choice and always the same every day. dirty laundry. noises and screams every hour of the night.
I certainly wouldn't recommend it.

Pretty decent, basically a 'party hostel'. Many activities offered, nice staff for the most part, though I was blamed for something I didn't do and wasn't asked my side of the story and was told to leave.. I much rather prefer the Abraham Hostel in TLV as it has much more to offer and is less expensive.

Overall the service was great, very nice and friendly people, but the place itself leaves much to be desired. After 1 breakfast: terrible food, feel cheap, and the "canteen" just dirty. 2 bathrooms: you can find a room without it and a shared room is available. I had the opportunity to be in a room with a bathroom, which would not be so bad if it were not for its condition ... Dust everywhere and where the mushroom does not look. In addition, during a night visit in this room I met a tenant, who turned out to be a large cockroach. Three rooms: when it comes to beds, it is obvious that there is nothing to expect luxury for the price. Beds like beds, normal, but the bedding had probably not been washed for a long time, and certainly a blanket that I got instead of the normal quilt. There were dust on the floor, but the best view was the decoder and the hook on the wall. Yes, someone just took him out of there. I mean, the television is not something necessary, but this view just made me roar with laughter. The last thing I wanted to mention are the windows. The window in the room was all dirty and I was really disgusted to touch it, and the view from it was on a pile of trash. As for the bathroom window, well ... There was no window in it, there was only a pseudo shutter and a grille that everyone could easily pull out to get inside. All in all, this hostel was just awful. I know that at this price I should not expect to know what, but I was hoping at least for a clean room and bedding and breakfast, after which I will be sure that I'm not kidding. Overall, I do not recommend.

Just got a room for the day since my friends and I were exhausted and needed a place to sleep until we could check into the Airbnb. Eggs, tomato, onion etc. provided to cook your own breakfast which I liked but others may not. The room was fine, it had air conditioning but that's about it.

Best of hostels! Acceptable prices! Free breakfast with a large selection of products. Of which you can cook something yourself. Each floor has 3 toilets and 2 showers. On the roof there are sofas and tables where you can read or meet someone and drink beer (you can buy at the reception). There are 2 small drawbacks: there are no sockets by the bed, only at the entrance and many who want to recharge something (I went to recharge on the roof, you can still in the dining room). And since the windows overlook the roadway - noisy. But for me this is not a problem. Responsive staff! I advise everyone!

I went in this hotel for 3 days with my family in a private room. In the hall i saw old walls and an old receiption.Fortunately, the person who works there are kind and they speak very good english. Our room was at 3rd floor but there are only stairs and there is not elevator. The first imprection wasn't so good but we wished that the room was great. But at the end the room was small and it was very old. There isn't warderobe and there isn't space for lugages. There was only one small bad sheet each person. The small bathroom was dirty and old.The water from shower isn't warm. There is also a terrace with chairs and one table

What a mediocre non existent hostel customer service!
Many times for weeks and months, I emailed the hostel in order to get bed dorm accommodation information for my future stay in Tel Aviv. Nothing came back to me. First the hostel emails listed online and on the hostel web page itself were wrong. I got them back. When I finally got the right one, weeks ago, the hostel never never never responded to me. Therefore, I decided to stay somewhere else. That hostel does not deserve my $. That was not the first hostel in Tel Aviv which conducted unprofessionally. The ones which belong to the HI International are also not to be recommended. It took me months and months to book one bed in Jerusalem and Masada. It was a real nightmare! I am a world traveler and never experienced such ordeal b booking my bed. One star is too much for that mediocre hostel.
