I recently stayed at Haley's Hotel and although my stay was short, it was comfortable and had a really homely feeling. The staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The room was lovely and the en-suite bathroom - perfect! I will be making periodic visits to Leeds and this hotel will be my ...

Nice rooms, comfortable beds, everything clean and tidy, friendly staff, but the breakfast was a disappointment - it didn't really taste of anything at all. Perhaps it had been left for too long steaming in its pots under the lamps in the self service area?

Had a nice experience with some confusion with drinks and food which was understandable as there was a lot of us. Food was good though not a large choice. Customer service was a pretty rubbish and there was an upset to do with their buy one get one half price deal which was not dealt with well. Le...

Haley's Hotel is a lovely built Victorian building in its own grounds with a car park and a seating area outside if the weather is good. The hotel room was a good size with a king size bed. We had a small en-suite with a bath and shower over. The room was immaculatley clean. The bar was quiet, we h...

Our stay was very dissapointing! Here's why:

On the bad side:

1. We had a large double room (room 28) which was a corner room and a good size. The bed however, had seen far better days. The mattress was very worn and has a distinct dip in the side of it and was not level. When turning over du...

It initially looked OK here. The outline of a nice place is here but....is now dated and in real need of decorating (walls are all scuffed and scrapes and stains on very visible parts of room and bathroom) - breakfast was pretty grim ( I love baked beans but these were weird and awful, and I've neve...

I stay in different hotels almost every week of the year due to the nature of my job and seldom have i experienced more brusk and unhelpful staff. The service leaves a great deal to be desired as does the dated hotel environment.

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome. This is an older hotel but is well-appointed, clean and feels extremely homely. It's situated in a cul-de-sac and, therefore, has very little traffic noise. The room was on the top More

The room was lovely and warm, which very welcome in the coldness of the North. The staff were very helpful and the complimentary breakfast simple but effective. Only gripe was the temperature of the shower seemed to have a mind of it's own.

Quiet location, but close to main roads with loads of pubs & restaurants. Not your standard mainstream hotels, but pleased with the staff. Rooms are styled a bit old fashioned and would do a little bit of tlc but overall not bad. Clean bed, hot water and squeeze floorboards ;)

Slow service, rude waistress. My meal was less than satisfactory as I was beaten by two strange men with pillows while waiting for my cookies to come out. I waited for over 2 days and all the while I received only 1 water refill. Only reason I'm rating two stars is that I beat the dick out of these ...
