Absolutely changed my life. I learned to respect others and their property. To set goals in life, and how to achieve those goals. Never had an issue with anyone in the 8 months I was there... Schramm West was my cottage... Uncle Tom was very cool..would love to go and visit and relive old memories. 1986-87

Was there as child. Horrible place. They did nothing to help my situation and didn t care, Staff was untrained unprofessional, and physically abusive. The facilities were unclean. When I turned 18 I was literally dumped out in the streets. I stayed in a homeless shelter. They never followed up. Terrible place! I ve ended up very successful despite that hell hole. Wouldn t wish it on anyone

I was extremely pleased with the service. Being nervous about moving day was something that I did not need to worry about. They came in and were professional and efficient! The move went without incident. It was the best money that I have spent in a long time!

Was their in 2008 to 2009. That place is meant for you to fail. I was a honor student my whole time their. Only had 1 sub being there. Got sent to the bucket for something I didn't do. "Can't snitch ya feel me." On my assessment to level 3 they moved me to cottage by the outside pools. Forget the name. They send me back to level two for no reason at all. Mind you I was their for drugs. I was in Memorial Cottage. It was WAY to harsh. They want perfect. No one is. I'm from ohio so I never really got into the mix with Pittsburgh and Philly. This place has alot to offer but if your sent by the courts. Have a good time getting free.

1979-1983

Was ok, felt I didn't belong only because my foster brother and his new wife didn't want me around so I ran away and was sent here. I met some good people there. I remember Jim and Nancy's home on the hill they were good people. I was then transferred to Dave and Kathy Ciccos house it was called the Pew house. Dave made me feel like I was somebody he tought me a lot about how to handle things in life awesome guitar player. I then moved off campus to Bob and Polly's home out side of New Wilmington she was a sweetheart, I was then released and spent a year in New Castle PA. I don't think I learn much from the school its self, I learned more from the Ciccos. Unfortunately Dave passed away right after I got released when I was 19.
It was an ok place though I Re visited back in 1994 alot has changed since then. It's Nice to go back in time I guess.
