Great environment, Great customer service, The music is emaculent, There business is the most professional club I have ever been too I would recommend everyone to experience the time of there life here.

I spent my 21st birthday here and had the time of my life! The dancers were amazing and the music never failed.

Too heavy hip hop/ghetto. Expensive drinks, expensive cover for not a great time. American Junkie was a better time with better music for dancing. We are from Michigan, and fluxx was more expensive than a zero cover bar back home, and less impressive.

My first time and last in this club. Nice place, but too crowded on the dance floor. One male bartender (should've gotten his name) played a guilt trip on me. My decision to give tips right? not his... When I didn't give him a tip, he said that when people buy drinks at reataurants, the bartender has to pay the servers to deliver the food and drinks. Hmm, very unprofessional, greedy person there. those people with the greedy personalities can bring down businesses like that.
Drinks are also very pricey. $14 per drinks and $18 per plate of the finger foods. Don't recommend this place. Not very Classy.

Very good music, I love the go go dancers they know how to dance

This is the most unprofessional, rude, and violent night club I ve ever attended. I paid for an advance ticket for the NYE party and it was a scam. After waiting outside for hours they still did not let anyone into the party. The staff were extremely rude (pushing and shoving females). Please save your money and do not support this establishment.

They water down the alcohol, I'm a bartender so I ask for a Tito's and soda,seeing the amount of booze they put on my drink I thought would be super strong, I could barely taste it,so get a beer guys.

Extremely high security w/ 3 stops before entering. Men are charged $20 cover & are patted down. A simple 7UP w/ Vodka is $14. Music is ok, but they were having technical audio difficulties. Laser show was great throughout the night. Not much space for dancing. Demographics were highly uneven inside the club.

Atrocious service, everyone who works there is going to treat you as scumbag if you do not bribe them or spend 5 grants for bottle service.
I am wondering who they think they are.

I love that there's still places with strict dress code! Awesome ambience.

hip hop is cool but i was in the mood for edm and house. i was told the music for the evening was edm and house only to find out that it was hip hop 90% of the night :(

Visited this place on a Friday night at 11AM. It was too crowded. Almost took us 45 minutes to get in. It looks like security have arrangements with third party so a new crawl was let inside when many people were already waiting. The DJ and music were bad. The drinks inside do not have much variety and damn expensive.
It s not worth $20 cover plus $15 you pay for drinks.

Ordinary club. I guess the difference would be made by the music (very bad when i was, but i guess it is because it was a private event)

I was apart of a paid event that did pub crawls which was fun until i enter this place. the bartenders were very accommodating and nice. the reason I'm giving one star is because three times, not once, three times i was pushed and stared down because i guess i got to close to the vip area. a simple explanation wold have sufficed but the pushed me like they were trying to to start a fight. I guess if you dont spend the 500-1000 dollars worth of VIP room your considered trash. This place has the worse security who scrutinize you if your not spending a ton of money.

Lazer beams...killer DJ's...bad ass special guest performances...hot gogo dancers...and a killer bar staff. Did I mention lazers?

Horrible staff, abusive security guards and even worse atmosphere. Security is suppose to protect and take care of drunk unruley patrons, not abuse young women. Hmmmm, is that a lawsuit I see on the horizon?

We love going downtown, having a girls night out with cool people watching, Handsome bartender remembers our drink orders and when we bring new friends in with us he is sweet to them so they feel welcome and want to bring there friends back, Sexy bouncers, and the most Talented and Gorgeous Dancers in Downtown San Diego. You guys are great!

It has a big dance floor in the middle of the club, but it's still a little over hyped. Go if there is a n artist you want to see or if your friend's got a table. Otherwise don't feel bad about skipping it.

Not sure what all the hate is, the music is enjoyable! I like the DJ on Thursday nights. Not a lot of other princesses, but definitely worth it if you get a table!

Such an amazing nightclub! My friends and I always come here. The music is always great, they have such good performers come every month! I would definitely recommend.

Bought my tickets online for St Patrick's day (two tickets for a total of $40). Never got in because there were too many people in the line. Security were very rude and they let a lot of people in that were not in the line and didn't have tickets because they had nice clothes or they knew them... But we paid and never got in !!! I want my money back !!!

Good Music and cool decor. HORRIBLE door men managers. Some little short gut with a shaved head told me $100 per person to get in, just to me, then pay cover. I have never seen such open front door corruption before. Crowd seemed ghetto. Place has seen its better days behind it. Too bad.

Food is average, but it is a funky environment and inexpensive. The cocktails are unique and tasty. It's always a nice experience and I try to get here about once a year.

It was alright, but there are better places out here in San Diego

THEY ARE CROOKS. THE STAFF ARE THIEVES. THEY WILL ROB YOU FROM EVERY PENNY YOU HAVE. BY FAR THE WORST ATMOSPHERE. THEY BAIT AND SWITCH BOTTLE SERVICE. THEY BRING IN CHEAP LIQUOR!! Stay away at all costs. They are thieves. They constantly ask for cash tips to managers and door men.

I pay $20 dlls ...in the bathroom no have toilet paper and soap

Been there three times now and it has sucked every time. It has a nice interior but that's pretty much it. They let too many people in so the dance floor is overly crowded - which makes it more or less impossible to dance without getting constantly bumped into. And the music? At best it is crappy dutch house with no melody whatsoever. Anyone who says that this a great club has obviously not traveled a lot.

The "Best nightclub in SD" is something of a juggernaut. Probably the strictest Vegas-type dress code in SD but not all that tough. Security has been known to be a lot more aggressive than necessary but again that might just be perspective. The club is nice no doubt it's just it's inhabitants who can give it the foul taste. Almost always a sellout crowd on the weekend come dressed to impress and get here early unless you know someone who can get you in or have your tickets already. A little to faux bougie for me

The premier nightclub in San Diego! Service is impeccable, the bar staff is helpful & nice unlike other clubs in SD. The decour & music makes for an unbelievable experience. A very dynamic venue always staying cutting edge offering a variety of music & talent

Fluxx is still trying to be like a Vegas club. It's got the crowded bar, crowded floor and crowded bathrooms. It even has the $17 Red Bull Vodka which has to be the biggest joke ever. They do pull in bigger DJs sometimes, but expect to pay $40+ at the door for them if you don't get presale. Other than that, it's local DJs. The venue itself is pretty nice, however.

They do have themes like mermaids for Abyss which is cool for about the 10 seconds you notice them and there's also a 5 minute show. Though none of that justifies paying $17 for a red bull vodka. Did I mention it's $17 for a red bull vodka? In San Diego? And 3/4 of the cup is just ice?

Oh and there's no re-entry. C'mon. Even Vegas gives re-entry.

I would never spend money here again. I pre-ordered tickets to see a specific performer and last minute Fluxx changed the performer to some completely different genre DJ. Fluxx's customer's service is the absolute worst, they never answer the phones and do not return calls if a voicemail with a number is left. One representative told me I would get a refund but TicketFly (where you buy the tickets through) needs to get the approval from Fluxx that there was an actual change of performers/an error on their behalf. It has been 3 weeks and I have yet to get a refund because both sides are ignorant and lack of communication.

Had family visit from outta town and got treated like garbage, bouncers charged my relatives 3 times more because ID's showed they where from outta state. Bad biz.

The DJ on 8/25 wasn't that great but the DJ on 8/26 was awesome. What made it even more amazing was seeing E-40 perform live. If you go with a large group, definitely recommend vip bottle service. The place gets packed real quick. Overall a fantastic experience!

All the nightclubs in Downtown are completely worthless. The atmosphere was horrible and and the drinks are too pricey. I'll never come back to this place again. I only stayed for 30 minutes and got the hell out as soon as I could. I had a girl that was an employee and gave me the discount card but instead I teared it apart and I did not even take advantage. My father tried to tell me that he can hook me up with VIP spots and I said no. Therefore, I hate downtown and don't try to convince to go anywhere in the area I tried so many times and the experience was just awful.

Go to Barcelona learn what a nightclub should be like.

Place was horrible waiting in line for 3 hours after buying tickets online hours before the event and ended up missing New Years... because of bad management and favoritism

Pretty cool place , dj plays good music if you re into hip hop and they usually have a lot of good artist performing here . Just a bit too small

The atmosphere is great, the service and servers are great, and while I am certainly no expert in contemporary club music, the club goers around me seemed to be enjoying the the set list by singing g and dancing along.

Went to see ASAP Ferg perform and he literally was on stage for 7 minutes. This has been the case with all of there hip hop acts. Waste of money. Drinks were $20 and the scene basic AF.

NYE ripoff. Even though our tickets were bought in advance, the line to get in barely made any progress despite getting there at 10:30pm. After a half-hour of standing and only moving 5 feet we left. No refund. Those who got there an hour earlier complained that it was packed on the inside and they could barely move. If you presale your tickets, this should NOT be a problem. Won t spend my money on them again.

First time in California from Texas and I won't ever be back to this bar. Stood in line, in the cold for almost an hour only to pay $30 bucks to get in (no special event) just to find it hard to move around and get drinks. I felt like I was in a modern rave like strip club (trashy half naked women and overpriced drinks). I'm not used to that type of place. Here in Texas you usually don't have door cover and the atmosphere is more enjoyable as well as the drink prices and service. What a waste of time and money.

This is a mainstay of San Diego. A little more casual and the music is diverse. Smaller than omnia, but it got really packed at one point. Drinks are the same price as other clubs in the area.

Up and coming Club with a mix of a young and older crowd. The bartenders are great and attentive as well as the rest of the Staff. Super engaging atmosphere. Dance floor can get a bit crowded. Layout of the club is inviting and cozy.

Good Vegas style night club (with Vegas like prices too) . Liked the layout, but it was super packed. Wasn't all that conducive for dancing

Friendly security and great service it was worth $20 entrance fee lol. I didnt have to wait for my drinks at the bar even if it was crowded. There's a table in the middle of the club and me ,my bestfriend and her bf got on it to dance and they were not rude about getting us down they justt said no haha so thanks for being chill with us and not giving us a hard time. good music.

Took my gf.. She loved it :D I spent well over $200 on drinks, the place was so crowded I couldn't dance let alone move, the bartenders are apparently to good to be serving you, and the music sucks :D ! But SHE had a good time so that's all that matters

If you love hip hop and r&b, this is your place. I recommend getting bottle service as they get PACKED! It's always nice to have a place to sit close to the dance floor. Security is phenomenal, and the staff is great as well

Great music..!!!! Dj from the L.A. radio station was on point. Definitely will be returning. It was $25 to get in. I used the club crawl hopper on Groupon. They take you to like 5 clubs all walking distance. Wear comfortable shoes. I wore flats. You can wear tennis shoes in this club for guys. My hubby had on jeans a button down and J's (jordans) it was so hot. He could've wore a nice tshirt not white. Drinks were a bit pricey $16.00 for an adios. I would say drink before you go. Ladies get that plastic flask and then you'll maybe have to buy one drink

Ive brought large groupls of friends here and always had an amazing time.

The place could get better reviews however the things people are writing are kind of true lol. As for the creepy rude boucers looking for a fight -yeah, I saw a little bit of that, they are walking around pushing other guys or shouldering them, and if the guys says excuse me -they start a fight...

I guess it's not a customer service oriented place lol

-oh and it was funny at the counter -2 people kept asking questions the hostess selling tickets, and she was just yelling back 'move it' move!!! then it was my turn -I paid for my wife and I 10 and 10 so should be $20, but I gave her $50 and am waiting for my change -and she yells again move it -keep moving next, so I am asking -excuse me ma'am my change , -mooovvve moove now neext!!! uhm excuse me...so the boucers quicky react and what's your problem what;'s your problem....... oh well I kept moving, but again no management nowhere to complain, its just law of the jungle there and coruption lol....

The rude female bartender on 8/26/18 at 11:00pm will make sure i NEVER go back. I was never given my card back and when i asked for it i was rudely dismissed as a drunk patron. I was trwated with extreme disrespect by everyone but head of security. Btw music DJ sucked and it was not entertaining at all.

Drove from Arizona just to get away with my love. He loved it as much as I did. It was worth the endless 4 hours of dancing. Definitely will come back in a couple weeks.

LOVE FLUXX! The guy bartenders are so good looking and sweet. Amazing variety in music, talent & design! I always felt safe & respected, the only club worth going to!!

I have traveled the world. Never in my life have I had such horrible service. No matter where I am I an ALL about customer service. That is always what drives business. I experienced a ghetto bottle service girl who basically cursed me out because I stood where one of their employees placed us while they got our table ready. If you have any level of class I would not come here! You are much better off heading to LA or anywhere else rather!

WORST-SERVICE-EVER! Got some tickets online for Martin Sloveig. Everyone in my party experienced horrible service. We would not recommend it. I have served in the industry, as a bartender and security/doorman. These employees don't know what service is. If you're paying minimum $12 per drink, you had better EARN your business with outstanding service.

It's the management, employees and exorbitant prices. Be fair to everyone no matter what they look like. Everyone is there to have a good time. Would I go to club Fluxx again.....definitely not.

Music is just okay. VIP service was too slow, we left.

Cons: tight dance floor, slow VIP service, expensive bar
