I waited several weeks to post a review. We did everything Flatiron asked. We wired them $2200, formed a new corporate entity, 800+ credit score, sent proof of over $200k in the bank. We offered cash and a 15 day close as directed by Flatiron. We then had to extend to 30 days. Flatiron waited until the day before the 30-day closing and changed the terms asking for double the down payment. I continually asked for an explanation on how they were evaluating the appraisals to fund this deal because they required multiple appraisals in an attempt to hit some unknown value that was never explained. We damaged local real estate relationships because we trusted the process with Flatiron. In the end, I am left feeling like this entire process is a scam to collect the upfront fees. Go somewhere else that has a proven track record in your area. They are not a true private lender and are looking to sell the loan asap. Hitting BBB next. Read the good reviews and those people's other reviews. Many look like they were purchased rather than legitimate reviews based on personal experience.

Daniel Kaziev and the whole staff at Flatiron Realty Capital where great. They got the deal done quickly and the loan terms were very good. Will definitely do business with them again.

No option to make payment online nor automatic withdrawals in 2021. Wire would cost money. Have not received the monthly statement. They made us sign to give the right to take over the LLC at closing (I don't think the paper work stated in case of default or anything but I assume that's for) which is not standard practice that even Title company questioned their attorney drafted closing docs. I wish we refinanced with the other lenders.

This company is a total ripoff, do not do business with them. They promise you the world and don t deliver. They kept $750.00 of my money that was supposed to be for an appraisal but no appraisal was done and they said they couldn t do the deal. I was told the money was for all the paperwork that was done. Totally unprofessional. The worst , bunch of lying cheating dirtbags!

My experience with this company is awesome. The whole procedure is fast and simple and the cost of money is amazing. The transaction went well and smooth and the whole Flatiron realty capital staff is highly professional. I recommend this company to everyone who works with real estate.

I wanted to let some time pass between using Flatiron and writing my review to digest what a horrible experience my business partner and I had with this firm but time has not healed my perception of how badly the transaction went. The agent handling our case missed three closings. No, this is not slander...he legit missed three scheduled closings with parties ready to sign. Our buyer s agent, seller s agent and title company were fed up with the guy to the point where we just left them at the third botched closing on a lay-up three family rental property. They also walked away with almost $3k of our money spent on an application fee and an appraisal. Buyer beware. Please read the Better Business Bureau reviews before you decide to engage.

Stay away from this company! I got a deal under contract because this guy Oscar Castro told me he could definitely lend me 75% of the deal so, i wire the company Flatiron $2,250 so they could start the process. Couple of days later he said he could lend only 60% of the purchase price. I told him i was going to back out because i didn t have the extra 15% and he said fine, he also said he would refund my $2,250 and until now i haven t received it. I ve being calling and they all say the same thing (it has to go through accounting). I ask to talk to a manager and they say there s no manager.
This transaction was done back in January 15 2021 and until this day May 24 2021 i haven t received my refund.
Stay away from them if you don t wanna have this headache and lose your money.
