One of the highlights of our England trip! We were lucky to be among the first to book Evan Evans Tours in London and enjoyed the intimacy of a small group. Our guide Simon and driver GK brought such great energy and shared passion for Harry Potter. The journey between locations was smooth and comfortable, with free WiFi and water provided. Simon’s deep knowledge of the landmarks kept us engaged with fun trivia, and the schedule offered the perfect balance of guided insights and free time to explore each site at our own pace.

Evan Evans Tours delivered a fantastic experience in London and beyond. Simon was an excellent guide who made the trip both well-organized and thrilling for everyone, not just Harry Potter fans. Visiting Lacock felt like stepping back in time, where you can truly immerse yourself in history. The visit to Gloucester Cathedral was also a highlight, with its stunning cloisters, massive columns, and vibrant stained glass windows. Highly recommended!

I recently joined Evan Evans Tours in London for a fantastic Harry Potter-themed excursion. We started at the picturesque Cotswolds, where the house featured in the films looked absolutely magical. The visit to Gloucester Cathedral was a highlight, as I recognized the settings from the Chamber of Secrets. Simon was an incredible guide who shared his knowledge with real passion, keeping us engaged throughout the journey. The tour itself was smoothly organized, and the drive through the English countryside was breathtaking, with lovely views of the landscape and local estates. It’s a perfect experience whether you’re a die-hard fan or just love exploring unique spots. I’d highly recommend this service!

My experience with Evan Evans Tours in London was absolutely fantastic. Phil, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable, relaxed, and had a great sense of humor. He shared fascinating details about every site we visited, yet gave us plenty of freedom to explore on our own. Our driver ensured we got around safely and comfortably throughout the day. It was the perfect balance of information and relaxation—I didn't want the tour to end!

Rowan was an exceptional guide on our London tour with Evan Evans Tours. He has a fantastic talent for bringing history to life, weaving interesting facts with engaging stories that kept us captivated. He even managed to win over my teenagers, who stayed enthusiastic about every stop. The day we spent exploring three different sites was truly wonderful, thanks largely to his expertise and energy.

Great tour company. We used them in April 2019 to go to Windsor Castle / Bath / Stonehenge.

The driver was great, and the tour guide was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor.

Our guide spoke English and Japanese, and she was running the tour in both languages, as there was a Japanese group on the bus. I thought that was impressive!

Free Wi-Fi in the bus was great and useful.

Tickets for all 3 sites were sorted beforehand and were ready on arrival without any trouble. Arriving time at Windsor Castle was great; we were fourth group in the queue, and we managed to get into the Castle within 10 minutes from arrival - everything worked like clockwork.

All together, trip was very well organised, bus was very comfortable, times were punctual, and great value for money. They also offered to drop passengers off at several locations on the way back before heading to Victoria Underground Station.

I would highly recommend using Evan Evans Tours to see Windsor Castle / Bath / Stonehenge, and I m pretty sure all of their tours would also be as great as this one.

I look forward to going on another trip with Evan Evans Tours.

(EN ) I booked the trip to Winsdor Castle - Stonehenge - Oxford. In the morning the coach (red bus) was delayed for 35 min (2Oct). In Stonehenge the couch abandoned my husband and me because we were late for 10 min therefore we didn't go to Oxford. We're watching the coach leaving us. We were shocked. We were without bags, money, hotel room's keys and in the middle of the field / forest. Next day in the office they returned our bags but they didn't return any money for the inconviniences that their firm caused and didn t offer to go to Oxford. They said: "You visitted Castle and Stonehenge, but Oxford - it's just a walking tour". It s kinda Oxford was a gift. I m shocked about Evan Evans service.
Why you didn't call me (I'd written my phone number), why you didn't give the guide's phone number (I'd have called to him), why you didn't offer a new trip to Oxford (I paid for Oxford and I didn't see it) ??????

Winsdor Castle. We had no much time to see all rooms in the Winsdor Castle (the guide gave us only 2 hours that included staying in the line when the official website recommended to spend at least 3 hours). We couldn't listen to all audio guide by the end due to the lack of time.
I recommend you to visit Winsdor Castle alone (it's a 30 minutes train walk from London)

I recommend you to visit Stonehenge on the coach but maybe you'll find another tourist agency who cares about its passengers.

Olga. Come to Belarus and we'll show you the best service. We never abandon tourists in the middle of the field.

I bought a trip to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Oxford. In the morning the tourist bus was late for 35 minutes (2 Oct), we waited and did not complain. The bus left Stonehenge to Oxford without us, because my husband and I were delayed for 10 minutes, and we saw how the bus was leaving, why the guide did not see us (only we walked along the path, it s hard not to notice). We left our things, money, room keys on the bus. We were in the middle of the field. We are shocked. The next day we managed to return the things, but failed to return part of the paid excursion. They said that we visited the castle and Stonehenge, and Oxford is a walk. I am shocked. Like Oxford, it was a gift, and like I didn t pay for it. They did not even offer to go to Oxford the next day. Horrible service.

Vozdomsky castle. The guide gave very little time to visit the castle, only 2 hours including standing in line , we were in a hurry everywhere. The official website recommends spending 3 hours reviewing the castle. As a result, we already ran into the rooms of the castle and so did not listen to the audio guide. The bus was delayed for 15 minutes, there were latecomers, but we did not leave them.

I recommend visiting the castle on your own, especially since there are direct trains from London (30 minutes).

I recommend visiting Stonehenge with a bus, but m. You will find another travel company that takes care of its passengers and does not forget them at the station.

I enjoyed a fantastic tour of Harry Potter's film locations with Stacey our knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. Stacey's cheerful and confident personality made the tour extremely enjoyable even though there was a lot of walking involved. I even had my ten months old baby with me on the tour in a stroller and still enjoyed my time on this walking tour because of the professionalism of our tour guide.
Thank you so much Stacey for giving us such a lovely experience!

Avoid the 2.5h Stonehenge tour at all costs and especially if you see the blonde coach driver ask for your money back in advance! I am one of 4 people they've left at the coach park today. Agreed time to be back at the coach was after 2.5h, we were there 15 mins early and it was gone! Went to the Stonehenge info point and they told us that they have this a lot, especially with the blonde coach driver who can't count, didn't realize that the air con in the very hot coach was not on until people actually started to faint and generally seemed a bit dumb. We will be asking for our money back for everything. AVOID THIS SCAM TOUR AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

Booked from klook, we had a tour to windsor castle, bath, and stonehenge. We did had a great time with Evan Evans Tour. Our tour guide jennifer has an excellent knowledge about windsor castle, bath, and also stonehenge. while waiting in the queue or even in the bus, she told us many interesting story about the history etc. The driver winston also did a great job, he slowed down a bit when there is a beautiful view of city if bath so we all can take a great shot of it. We don't feel rushed as well as people in our tour. Everyone gather on time so we can go to our next destination on time. Oh right, september is the hest time to travel to UK because if its perfect weather

Luckily for us we had Rowan, this morning for our Harry Potter walking tour throughout London and what an amazing experience it was! Rowan not only is the biggest Harry Potter fan and can spot out every set filmed on the streets of London but also took the time to point out the other awe-inspiring buildings and historical facts about London, so we felt we got the best of both worlds. Funny, friendly and always talkative, there was never a dull moment. Highlight of our London trip by far. Thank you Rowan and the awesome tour company Evab Evan's Tours!

It was an adventurous day! I'd like to say that maybe it would be more interesting to visit 2 places on the day, because we had time, literally, to go up to Stonehenge, take a picture and go back to the bus. We had a little more time at Windsor Castle, although we could only visit one of the areas there.

We took the tour to Roman bath and Stonehenge with Evan Evans. We had missed our original scheduled tour date by arriving at Victoria Coach Station 4 minutes past the departure time. They rescheduled us for the next available date without charge or any hassle, which was appreciated as it was our fault we missed the bus.

Our guide was Rhys Thomas and driver was Mark S. The ride on the bus was comfortable. It was a cold and rainy day and really miserable weather to see Stonehenge, and the only thing that made the trip enjoyable was Rhys. He introduced us to various buildings and districts from the moment we started until we arrived back at the station. Rhys was very informative and witty and probably everything you would expect and more from a tour guide (I've taken many tours at over twenty countries). Definitely big props to Rhys for making the trip enjoyable on otherwise a bad day to sightsee!

This is not a review of the site itself, but a review of my experience on this tour. The tour guide was gruff, rude and aggressive. Before we even arrived, he provided a list of things we couldn't do. There are nice ways of saying things, but being told that if we didn't come back in 2 hours or the bus would leave without us really spoiled the tour. I was so worried about how much time I would have left that I didn't enjoy the exhibits and hurried past things I should have lingered to see.

This is a "one way" tour -- once you leave a room you can't go back. There is a lot to see, but if you don't go in with a map you could end the tour well before you expect to. I ended up leaving an hour early and had to eat lunch in the restaurant while I waited for the time to pass.

To add insult to injury, we arrived at the bus 2 hours as instructed but our driver didn't start the bus until 20 minutes later. Wow -- maybe we should have driven the bus ourselves and left him waiting.

Other tour companies (Golden Tours for one) will pick you up in a fully decorated bus and screen the first Harry Potter while you drive from London to get there.

Book this tour with another company, or take the tube to get there... In fact, the bus driver actually stated "spend all the time you like here -- the tube and transit are a very convenient way to get here". Wow. I am so unimpressed -- and Evan Evans was so good for all the other tours.

Pass on this one or go with another tour company.. Better yet, take transit to get here.

we had a fantastic tour of London last Friday. The staff in the street, selling/checking tickets was so friendly and heloful! we were very comfortable and it was nice to hear the guide in our earpieces. Pity there was no Dutch, we are Dutch-speaking, from the Netherlands. Also we should have liked to take the boat tour on saturday, which was not possible. Other then that, my husband and I would recommend this tour to anyone.

Evan Evans aren't big on communication. Our tour was cancelled and they didn't tell us. Our tour was originally cancelled and reschedulled to another day. When we went to their office they didn't tell us that it was cancelled. It was only when we went to get picked up that they rang Evan Evans for us and we were told that our tour was cancelled and booked us in for the tour the next day (when we were leaving London). I'm very unimpressed by the way they handled this.

I will start by saying this is the tour you want, especially if you can request the tour guide Rodney. In fact, find out when Rodney is working and book that tour!
My wife located this tour on the internet from past reviews, and did she ever score a great tour for us. We did the London in One Day Tour with the evening Thames River cruise. It was perfect for us, with the bus touring of most of the sites newcomers like us want to see.
The tour leaves from the lovely Art Deco Victoria Coach Station, itself worth seeing. We saw the Royal Albert Hall*, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace* (and the guard change), Green Park*, Trafalgar Square*, Parliament (with the clock tower containing Big Ben), Piccadilly Circus, St. Paul s Cathedral*, Harrod s, The Tower of London* and so much more. The * means we actually got out to view this location.
Now for the seriously good part we had as our guide a fine gentleman named Rodney. August 20th 2018 Tour Number 4. Rodney is an extremely polished Londoner that sounds like a BBC news announcer. He is brilliant, and has a very dry, fun wit. I never stumped him with a question. He KNOWS London. He also strikes the correct balance of the right amount of talking, without babbling on. I heard other guides go by ..you want Rodney. Make the effort to book with him, and you can thank me later.
Our driver Joe was incredible. He threaded the big red coach through holes I would swear a Mini Cooper couldn t fit. He and Rodney worked well together to adjust the tour on the fly due to traffic jams in London streets. The really amazing feat was seeing Joe parallel park the coach in one smooth move into a space in Trafalgar Square little longer than the coach s length. Simply amazing.
The evening river cruise left from the London Eye dock, and was very enjoyable and gives a perspective most will never see. Wonderful sunset over St Paul s Cathedral dome. It is well worth your time and effort for this relaxing float on the Thames.
Again, I cannot say enough about Rodney and the tour in general. Make sure and book one of Rodney s days, and enjoy. It was a top highlight of our trip to England.

The Windsor Castle, Bath, Stonehenge tor was wonderful. Our bus driver Tom treated us to a smooth, comfortable ride and our guide, Rhys Thomas was simply GREAT. Well informed, polite, and witty, he made sure we were safe, well oriented and entertained for the whole 11 hours we were on the tour. I highly recommend Evans Evans and look forward to my next trip with them.

I'd recommend this tour. Both Jo (bus driver) and Simon were incredibly. Simon was very knowledgeable and spent great effort in explaining the history of Great Britain.

Time was controlled, each spot (stonehenge, Windsor Castle and Bath) visited were ogranised well.

My and my parents felt nice of the whole trip.

Good job.

Ok tour but I wouldn't reccomend solely based on the driver, Nick. While booking through a 3rd party site, issues arose and Evan Evans was kind enough to take care of it. The drive to the studio saw the guide having to give directions to Nick, the bus driver. On the way back, Nick did not know how to navigate around traffic resulting in an almost 2 hour ride back. When people were frustrated and wanted to get off because we could walk faster, Nick became agitated, raised his voice and was rude. The time allotted to tour the studios where Harry Potter filmed was not adequate and you had to rush through the entire thing. More time is needed. Again, the driver, Nick, is the reason for the low rating. Also, the woman at the front desk when we arrived was rude and seemed bothered that anybody had questions.

We took the Bath and Stonehenge tour yesterday, June 26, 2019 (Tour 18). Our guide was Mel Adams which was absolutely amazing. Very knowledgeable, courteous and funny. Made our trip a joy to be on. Also, the driver Mark made our journey a pleasure. The coach was very clean inside and outside. We came from The States (Miami, Florida) and will definitely recommend this tour.

Booked a really good deal through Buy a Gift to claim through Evan Evans tours. I phoned up and asked to book it but she said I had to email to request the booking, she checked to see if there was availability and there was at many different times. Emailed as soon as I got off the phone and by the time they emailed back half an hour later the time I wanted had sold out (Bare in mine this is a month and a half in advance). She said I could have a later time so I emailed back the next morning and then that had sold out and there was no availability for another week! I understand it s busy but just because they couldn t book on the phone I could ve lost my booking. Luckily they had a cancellation I was able to book onto the tour I wanted, I would recommend either booking 6 months in advance, or just book through the Warner Bros website

Bus waiting for 40 minutes and counting after the meeting time for 2 people who may or may not still show...but probably not... dinner reservations in jeopardy, no restroom on the coach, and all after clear and numerous instruction that people who are late should find their own way back. Bus also about 20+ minutes late leaving so while your timeframe was pushed out over an hour! Really disappointing end to a family tour! If you have plans for the rest of the day, this probably isn t the tour group for you! Bus driver seems nice enough but office doesn t seem to care!!!!!

We went to Warwick Castle, Oxford and Stratford. The guide Nicholas was fantastic and a fountain of knowledge. He has to rank as one of the best guides i have had the pleasure of meeting. The day was over in the blinjk of an eye. I didn't think much of Warick and Shakespeare's house is very small but the town is beautiful.

Evan Evans tour staff are very knowledgeable and professional. From booking to tour guide, my sister and I had a wonderful experience with Our tour on 9/25/19. Our tour guide Jennifer and coach driver Aston made a perfect team together. They are very well organized, very responsible, and well managing timetable. They made all the tourists felt so comfortable and happy. Jennifer even assisted everyone on how to get back to our hotels or drop off places. We are impressed with their hear warming services and professionalism. I highly recommend Evan Evans Tour and I will
definitely use their services again.

My family and I booked the 11-hour day tour to Windsor, Stonehenge, and Bath, a bit concerned that it would be too rushed and thus lacking in substance. What a wonderful surprise: They did everything they promised. And then some - they gave us James, the best guide I could ever wish for. He was not only very knowledgeable (being a historian and having worked at Windsor Castle very close to the Royals), he gave all those interesting historical bits in an engaging, funny way, which make for better learning. He didn't waste a moment of our long day.

We heard so many recommendations about this company so we decided to try it out and we weren't wrong!! We did the tour with Patricia. She was really good. We visited Oxford, Stonehenge and Windsor, the only thing was that in Windsor we couldn't visit the castle because it was closed. However, our guide told us some informations from outside in a walking tour. It was great to see the queen's entrance and the long walk. Also we saw the crooked house and the shortest street in England.

Although the day was okay, it was much longer than we thought it would be. There were no "comfort" stops and when we were able to find a restroom, there was a charge to use it. I had no money with me because we were told we could leave our bags on the bus. Our guide was continuously way ahead of us. We lost him several times.
