What kind of grocery store doesn't have bags for the customers to carry there food out

Weis markets prices are not very good. They target poor people who live close because the know those people have mobility limitations.

What can one say it's a really good grocery store, the wings are an excellent on the go food.
Downside this is in a bad section of town a man tried to steal my wife's shoulder bag while riding on a bike in parking lot, he was later caught. Just be careful, it's a decent grocery store.

They have an excellent produce section and it's prices are very good

A great selection and reasonable prices combined with a central Elmira location make this my go-to grocery store.

Sells the BEST FRIED CHICKEN I've ever had. I look for reasons to drive to Elmira just for the chicken. Very reasonably price always on sale Sundays. Each bucket comes with Liter Pepsi product.

Only 1 cashier open and only 2 self checkout registers open. Had to wait in line awhile.

Never again will i buy pizza from there the last 3 months had nothing but problems its either burnt or a sheet pizza made a large or get told no dough and no more boxes i complain over and over again they cant do nothing about and its one certain employee that does this but its ok ill go somewhere else to get my pizza weis deli just lost my business

Nice atmosphere, good selection, proper store layout

We love the Weis brand of ice cream... A wide variety of different flavors. A major plus is if you have a weis card two 1.5 quarts of ice cream are under $5.

Great store to shop at the workers are very friendly & Nice

No cashiers. If wanted to check myself out I would have ordered online and stayed home

Over priced dirty store. Had out dated meat and moldy bread. Not enough checkout lanes open. Management not responsive to customer service.

Very slow, high prices. I hate shopping there and only do so as little as possible

I had bought a pork roast a day or 2 ago and I went to cook it and it was bad so had too take it back for another one.

I went here for a work errand and oh my goodness, why have I never been here before?? Some great healthy options and good variety.

I like this store. There is a wide variety of groceries, from the regular choices to organic, a fresh salad bar and a bakery. Many choices and the prices are decent. The employees are friendly and willing to help.

It's in the ghetto and strange people frequent there.

Not very friendly.seems as if I am rushed and a bother to the employees especially the higher placed employees

Weis is neat and tidy. Staff is friendly and helpful. Prices on lots of things are kind of high. Not for your everyday grocery shopping. Also, their self check software is not streamlined the software differs from Walmarts easy in and out system. Payment types must be used separately.(Ebt,cash,credit)

Very fresh bread there..I like the deli there..got wonderful ham there last week..some good buys on meat too

Even though I do not live in Elmira anymore, I will occasionally make the trip here from Horseheads just to shop here. They're the only place around that has store brand Birch Beer, and their prices are very competitive.

Though the exterior looks like a blast from the past, the inside is vibrant and attractive. I took 2 of my kids in and it was like an adventure walking around the store, admiring how things were displayed and discovering unfamiliar products that were strategically placed throughout the building. It was clean, people were friendly, the prices were fair, and one thing I particularly liked was the priority they gave to promoting natural and organic foods.

Ive been shopping here since I was a little kid and over the past 2 years theyve really stepped there game up to compete with the big box locations...ive been a regular shopper most my life and will continue to be..recommendations vary amongst what you are looking for so take me being a regular how ever you may...certainly stop in and judge for yourself...hope this helps

The prices are a little bit high, but they have good sales and a good selection of gluten free products.

This place has great prices. But i love their meat selections

Worst store in the area, horrible as far as cleanliness, the workers act as though they'd rather be anywhere else. All around bad experience from shopping to going to your car.

Nice selection of products with their gas being one of the least expensive in the area.

A little expensive on a daily basis, but watch the weekly ads for great discounts! Good quality meat for a great price.

Do not care for this store at all since they put in the auto checkers. There will be one cashier open and three other employees just STANDING AROUND talking by the self checkouts making sure no one steals something I guess and if the self checkout say wait for assistance you can't get the three employees to notice YOU NEED ASSISTANCE. Only run in this store if you need one or two items tops! Otherwise take your grocery list elsewhere.
