The food here is great! Its very family and budget friendly, and i used to work here for a while so i know that they are clean and make 99% of their food from scratch so its always fresh! I definitely recommend this place to newbies, tourist, and locals for the great prices, atmosphere and quality food!

3 different visits, bad service each time. Food is good but not worth dealing with the lack of attentiveness for me to return here

Great food at a great price, authentic homemade tortillas, and breakfast burritos that will have you filled for hours. They re HUGE and obviously fresh, everything is so fresh and delicious.
Not a healthy item on the menu! Great for a greasy Sunday meal.

Good food, very friendly atmosphere, food is not overly spicy just good.

You won't find better food for lower prices anywhere in Taylor. My very large family eats for less than $30 dollars, and there is something for even the pickiest of eaters.

Awful service and awful food today!

They tried to pass off a half melted block of velveta with a couple tomato chunks in it as Queso...I've had their queso before and it was creamy, real cheese and tex-mex spiced delicious normally...

The table was sticky and the server was slow and unsympathetic as if this was normal, Yuck!

The boy working the checkout counter started playing a star wars like silly fight with another worker with the straws, then they knocked over and dropped the straws on the floor and there was liquid on the floor there...they both proceeded to pick them up and put them back in the container on the checkout counter with other straws, they were visibly dirty and wet - GROSS!!!

We have seen this place and been hesitant to stop in but we decided to try it today. GLAD WE DID! They food was very good, came out piping hot and the waiter was very helpful and friendly. We will be going back whenever we are in Taylor. We will even make a trip in from the Campground just to eat. Thanks, ECL, we will see y'all again soon!!!

Didnt really like it food wasnt great we went it was very slow but the server was no where to be found we had to wait 10 minutes just to pay check. There was 3 of us but they only brought one tiny salsa bowl

Place was always awesome pre Covid, now the food is just eh and service is not great, we were seated and waited 10 minutes before anyone even brought out chips and salsa, and then another 10 to 15 minutes before our drink orders were taken. My enchiladas were ok but not what they used to be, I'm pretty sure they changed the recipe. My wife's burrito was not what she ordered but she ate it anyway and said it was pretty good. Our chips were never refilled even when they clearly saw the chips were completely empty and the salsa was really soupy. Would no longer recommend, there are better places in town at this point in time.

It's a very good restaurant. I like the shrimp fajita the most.

I enjoy going to El corral ,there is good food, drinks, friends atmosphere, and fun.

Excellent, so many different kinds of meals to choose from, from chile relleno to gorditas, to well,the only way you're going to believe it is to go there and try it.
A very well maintained restaurant by some very well trained staff and very friendly.
The place shows the care that the owners have reinvested in this location.
A 5 star rating is well earned.

Really bad experience yesterday WED 05-22. Got my order complexly and totally wrong. Called in an order had tell guy answering phone 6 times what I wanted. He spoke little to NO ENGLISH. How hard is it to get a cheese enchilada plate??? If they let him answer the phone , the place will lose a lot of customers. He was truly incompetent .They lost me as a customer now, i came in 2 or 3 times a week. I am officially done!!

The service was subpar, we asked for chips several times and were promised THE CHIPS and we did not receive them. How are we supposed to eat queso with NO CHIPS. BUT... I digress... the food was excellent, it tasted very authentic, and like it was home-cooked.

Every time I've had an opportunity to dine here ive missed their rush hour so I've been able to sit with those i was with and eat a delicious meal, drink a cold beer , and discuss important private matters without having to worry about strangers hearing family buisness ..
But I definitely don't want to close without mentioning the always friendly and helpful wait staff, that has never failed to make every visit to El Corral Lozano one that makes us come back again and again,
I wanted to mention that since Rudy mikeskas was there I believe these owners have been top notch

We love El Corral! Can't beat a date night for under $12! I always get the $4 taco meat tostada and my husband loves to rotate different tacos. The queso is creamy and delicious and pairs excellent with their homemade tortillas! The salsa is always delicious but varies depending on who makes it, sometimes it is spicier than other times. It has a fresh taste, with cilantro and other spices in it and small chunks of tomatoes. Their chips are nice and thin. When I don't get the taco meat tostada, my other go-to is their chicken fajita chimichanga. It is huge and comes covered in queso!

Consistently good, basic Mexican food. They could improve the chips and salsa. Good flavors and good prices.
