I just signed up for eBay Friday 2/14 and I just spent 3 1/2 hours calling to get a US rep and they refused to help. Why eBay does not have a US number indicates how cheap they are. They are avoiding the cost of doing business in the US but making millions here. There website is filled with a never ending loop of pages that just ask questions but never get to the solution. I placed 2 orders and put a cancel on one. The other comes tomorrow. I am closing my account as soon as possible. I also want to get away from PayPal. I really do not understand how eBay is allowed to do business in the US or why Americans continue to support such a scam operation.
In my opinion they have the worst customer service around with rude staff and managers! In my opinion giving a platform to scammers and a hard time to the people that were scammed is an awful policy!!!! Shame on you!!!!

If I could rate lower I would. It's sad that I'll no longer be doing buisness with ebay. They don't care about customer concerns, or customer issues, and when sellers don't come through on a sale they are not held accountable. This sad way to do buisness, but I guess when they are making money it doesn't matter.

Worst experience I ve ever had with a company. I ve sold over a 1,000 things on EBay with no complaints. Had a problem with a customer who didn t read and I lot out on $60.00 in shipping for THEIR issue. Did EBay try to help?.....ABSOLUTELY NOT! They don t care about the seller! Selling on eBay is a BIG RISK. Only sell things on eBay you are willing to lose because chances are you will. eBay is 100% on the side of buyers, not matter what the case. Their customer service will say "we don't need you (seller) you need us (eBay)". eBay has legalized crime and is profiting from it. Buyers basically can do anything they want and get away with it with eBay's help. Not only will people steal from you, but eBay will punish you (seller) for being a victim. Buyer can buy your item, open a case saying "not as described", send back completely different item and eBay will take the buyers side every single time. Their entire system is setup to automatically take the buyers side, seller is automatically always guilty even with evidence to support otherwise.

eBay can willfully access a seller account and does so through our documentation, and it truncates messages disallowing a seller to track an issue-and it does not date past correspondences making it impossible to find your replies to buyers, you are forced to sift through massive piles of messages forcing the resolution process into a HUGE ordeal,

eBay changes and reads ABSOLUTELY everything in your account, so basically it hacks you at its own will to make a decision erroneously or not. if used for good measure great. But listings fail to repost after declined, Sellers are forced to offer 30 day returns not for the benefit of anyone, but in an extortive fashion uses 30 days returns to force you to return, when it ALREADY has a Buyer Protection Program in place. So sellers must comply to get help with difficult buyers. This is an erroneous feature as well, no matter what you offer as a a Seller the decision ALWAYS goes to the Buyer. Horrible customer service , I ordered a 2 pack of a product received 1 individually wrapped item when asked where was the second to complete the 2 pack , no response from the seller.
I then got eBay involved and because they sent delivery confirmation of the single item eBay says I received and close the dispute.
So I basically got robbed ripped off what ever you want to call it and the seller nor eBay cares.
I wonder if it were more money if I could file criminal charges against ebays CEO for allowing criminal activity to go on

eBay customer service is the worst. The call center they use will give any excuse or lie to get you off the phone. eBay's website is often flawed or has issues on a technical level. It took them forever to migrate to HTML5. It's amazing how such a technically challenged website and horrible customer service and they are still the number 1 auction site.

Seller Beware! Ebay advertises the first 50 listings for free. What they hope you dont realize is that they only specify free "listing." Be prepared to pay a fee if your free listing sells.
