Eastern Door Restaurant

Just had some of the nicest Chinese for sometime Eastern Door Kingscliff
The restaurant is very clean and lovely art work, it is a little dark but having said that we will come again the young staff were pleasant and the owner very friendly and came to all tables to see if everything was alright

We found all of the dishes were delicious and they were very accommodating in our group wanting breaks between meals. Most enjoyable. Would recommend this restaurant

One day, in the future, when we can sit and dine in a restaurant that looks fabulous, you will thank me for this. I was lured in by the extensive menu on display. I spoke to the lady at counter who showed me seat. I ate. When I went to pay what should have cost $39 cost $49 - because I sat down! Beware!

Worst Chinese we ve ever eaten.
The service was incredibly slow, we were a party of 2 adults, 5 children. 3 dishes out of 11 came out and it was over 10 minutes before I had to ask about the rest of the food. When it came, it was bland, hardly any meat in the meat dishes, mostly filled with cauliflower, onions and carrots. The final two dishes came after we d finished and were awful, not fresh tasting at all. Salt and pepper squid tasted pre-frozen and was chewy, worst we ve ever had. A very very expensive experience too, left very unsatisfied. Was heaps better and cheaper a few doors away at Kahani Indian restaurant, where we were a party of 11 and ordered a lot more dishes and rolled out of there full and happy.

Delicious fresh food. Lovely owners. Totally recommend & one of the few places open on Mondays.

Food here is nice but very pricey. $24 for a honey chicken and $5 for a diet coke! Better off going to the Chinese restaurant at Tweed Heads - much more reasonably priced.
