I am going to give a 5 because of the food and service. Both Awesome. I am going to voice a concern though. A very particular one. I order my meal togo 9 times out of 10 and I have a problem with the foil that is used to wrap my sandwich (always the BBS!!). On the inside of the wrap it appears to be lined with paper or something of the like because whenever I open my wrap to get to the sandwich, the paper always gets stuck to the sandwich and comes off the wrap. It is a minor inconvenience to have to pick off the paper that gets stuck to the wrap but I just wanted to let you know.

Thank You!

I feel like I know BBQ and would have never guessed some of the best I have ever eaten is in Syracuse NY!!! Got the combo plate of pork and ribs with side of beans and slaw. Some of the best I've had!!! I highly recommend this restuarant if visiting Syracuse!!! Fantastic food and even better service. They asked if my son had a problem with his dinner because he hadn t eaten a lot. The next thing we know he had an entire new fresh plate. Casual and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend

Great prices. We had fried green tomatoes (good), nachos (ok) and a plate of brisket (ok), ribs (excellent) and bbq pulled pork (great) with sides of mac and cheese (more creamy not cheesy) and the orzo salad (yummy!). All totaled 45 bucks.
The server was great and the place itself is so fun.
If I returned I'd just get a rack to go, as its loud inside.

One of the best places I've had barbecue....every bite was better than the last. Sauces...simply the best flavor and good proportion of heat. Ally was our server....best service to date at any establishment. You owe it to yourself to visit here. Oh...and the cornbread....off the chain

I started going here when it first opened in the late eighties. Although the food is still pretty much the same, which is good, the portion sizes have shrunk quite a bit while the prices have only gone up. Seems to be the case with alot of places that start small and get hugely popular. The Pork Carolina sandwich I ordered last night had twice as much coleslaw as pork. It used to be the opposite. The patty on my wife's burger was also considerably smaller than it used to be. The menu has also shrunk to 2 sides of a single sheet if paper, partly due to the Covid 19 pandemic I am sure. This used to be one of my favorite places to eat.

This is a great bbq joint that started in Syracuse. It has expanded to a few places since then.
I come for the brisket, ribs, burgers or wings. It all depends on what I am feeling. I am never disappointed. I expect to wait before being seated.
They have 20 beers on tap. The cornbread is always fresh. The parking is on the street, so bring quarters if it's before 6pm.
Jess was our server and she was excellent. Jess cared and it showed. My wife said good things about her and she is not easily satisfied.

Excellent barbecue! Our group loved this place. And everyone enjoyed the food. The only suggestion we would have is to have a separate mac and cheese for the kids. Most of the kids thought it was too spicy. Everything else was awesome. We'll be back for sure!

***Food was fantastic/Service was horrible***. Our family tries to support local businesses during this pandemic. We chose Dinosaur over its competition because of local loyalty. Our experience overall was terrible. We placed our order at noon for a 7:30 delivery. Even with that much time, the delivery was over an hour late. We called Dinosaur, and got the rudest person ever. Apparently, according to this rude person, "everyone in Syracuse is calling in orders" which you would think is a good thing for the business. She made us feel that it was OUR fault for ordering on a Saturday. We will *NOT* be supporting Dinosaur anymore. As stated above, the food was delicious (as usual), but to lose business because of service is a sin. Especially when people WANT to be supportive during hard times. We will choose L.L. from now on.

They have some of the good foods in town but hygiene is poor. They still use very old utensils and they really need to be changed honestly. Bbq ribs are great if you have them during afternoon but sometimes you get too hard to chew ribs in the nightly time. Overall good impression and I visit there when I am in Syracuse.

I've been to many Dinosaur BBQ throughout CT and NY and had some lipsmacking fingerpicking good BBQ. This one in particular was my least favorite. The waitress was great. The food was just okay. I think with the whole Covid thing the food has gone downhill at most food service establishments for whatever reason. But some places have done a great job at keeping things on the up and up. Unfortunately this place is not one of them. Sorry, but I will say that I may return here someday when all the bull$#!+ is in our rearview.

You know a restaurant is good when their sides are as delicious as their meat. All the sides tasted really fresh (cornbread not dry) and meat was very soft. Also really appreciate the option of just getting one large rib rack instead of multiple different meats in a couple's meal. Will definitely go again.

Excellent service, fusion menu, great location
Armory Square is the night entertainment destination in Syracuse. I bring out of town guests to Lemon Grass knowing the service will be gracious and friendly, the food interesting and tasty and the setting relaxed and comfortable. While the menu tilts heavily to thai fusion, you can also get a beautiful cut of meat simply prepared.

Reasonable restaurant, great ambience, fun decor. Unfortunately, my family found the food just alright for the price. While I enjoyed the ribs, my family found the chicken and the pulled pork just okay, and hardly ate anything. We had lots left from the combo platter, and didn't take the leftovers to go. We won't be returning.

This is a very popular BBQ restaurant in Syracuse. Almost everybody I spoke to before moving to Syracuse recommended that I come to Dinosaur BBQ. I have been to other dinosaur BBQ locations in the country. This one in Syracuse is by far the best. Service is fast and courteous. The bar has a good selection of beers. They do serve local beers at a very cheap price. This is a great place to come and hang out with friends. I noticed a lot of people wearing work clothes at this location - I suspect this is a popular place for lunch for nearby businesses. I've been here two times so far. The first time there was about a 15-minute wait. The second time I went on a weekday at about 5 p.m. and there was practically no wait.

Everything that you'd expect from a BBQ Restaurant. Tender and moist brisket...tasty mac and cheese and great greens. The 1/2 Chicken was great...but the breast portion was a little dry. Eaverything else was exceptional. Look forward to trying out their rub on mine next pork butt.

I d like to thank the staff, for their professionalism in accommodating a large group, minutes before the kitchen closed last night.

The person that served us, super patient and just an all around great person.

And the food was awesome!!! I will definitely go back. Next time with a smaller party
