Due to corona I would highly recommend making reservations. We saw that note on the website and made a reservation so we got right in while others had to wait outside. The food was so good and not just the normal pub food. Everyone was very friendly and it was overall a great experience!

Waited an hour for our food, burger was overcooked, disintegrating taco shells, full of soggybread French onion soup and a whole table behind me ranting the blandness of various dishes. For all the talk up, my girlfriend and I were excited for a great meal from this highly recommended establishment to be so disappointed that from at a glimpse looked like a great composed looking line only to uphold such low standards. #deshutesbreweryneedsgordanramsey #getittogether #atleastthebeersgood

Great brews, with location specific tap choices (it's always nice to have something new from the ol' Deschutes Brewery!). In general, great food and service. Tourist season is wild, so be ready to wait for a table.

Good news for vegans: they have a pretty good variety of options. But look no further than the carrot quinoa burger. Best option I've seen. :)

Seriously Deschutes? A la carte French fries???!!! Burger on the menu is $13 (normal pub burger) tab comes and fries are an extra $4. Who orders a burger without French fries. Put it on the freaking menu! I understand a covid tax but im disappointed. Your food is on par with the rest of Bend but no longer head and shoulders above

Beer was awesome even though it was clear that there were soap bubbles still in the glass. That's saying something haha! There was a nice menu selection, but the elk burger I ordered was so overly dry, ordered it medium well, and it was slightly burnt on the outside. Recommend for the beer and hopefully I have a non soapy glass next time.

I honestly miss their old menu. The new options are very strange. For instance, they put cinnamon in the batter for the fried chicken sandwich, and pineapple and cilantro with the calamari. I get that they want to be more "artisan," but it's still a pub, and I feel like they should have more classic, pub food options.

The beer is still great though!

Alright so its wasnt good. But it wasnt terrible.

Fries were too salty. I have salt at the table. Common sense.

The double cheeseburger was bland, nothing that makes it "special". But the meat was a little off and they should check that out.

Steak sandwich. The steak and cheese? Great. The sauce and peppers on the sandwich? Great. Put together? No. The tastes dont mix. Its trippy. Not bad. But trippy.

If I knew how to properly eat the sausage plate too would've been nice. Its sloppy. Plus. Why only 1 sausage? For 11 dollars give me some more, man.

To be fair it's a 5/10. I just added 3 out of 5 as a gesture of kindness.

Beer is good.

Got in right before the crowd hit. Was surprised how good the food was. The pulled pork sandwich was pretty meh but the burger special was delicious! The patty was made of ground beef & ground bacon so of course it was going to be good. They had good tarter to dip my fries in, otherwise the fries were pretty dry. Good cold beer. Not sure I d come here again next I m in Bend, but I m glad I tried it out.

We stopped by Labor Day weekend so it was pretty busy, but went straight to the bar and got served quickly there. Beer was great, there are so many to choose from including my favorite Belgium style ales! Food came out really fast, it's pretty usual fare but tasty enough. We had a salads but the highlight was beer :-)

Been itching to come to Bend since falling in love with Deschutes brews six years ago. My wife and I stopped by in the afternoon on a Sunday and there was a decent crowd, it was great to try some beers that they don't can/bottle. Staff was very friendly and helpful with our questions, ended up going to the full scale brewery and tasting room for a tour the following day.

Great service in the bar area barkeep was on top of everything. Had the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. It lacks heat up front, but by the time you work your way through, it starts to hit you. Excellent other than missing some more heat, but that s my preference. I asked about hats and was told to hit up the main brewery spot less than a mile away. I did and got a super simple hat for $10. All around good stuff and great folks.

Girls night out was a blast as it started with awesome customer service, which often times make the quality of the food and overall dining restaurant. The waitress was alive, bubbly, friendly. She was happy to answer any and all questions regarding menu items. I ordered the Pollo Asado Salad. Chicken was cooked to perfection, the salad was seasoned just right with the avocado vinaigrette. I stole a fry from a friend's plate and was pleased with the flavor and consistency. I will definitely be back!

Great beers, good food although limited selection, friendly staff, nice atmosphere especially given we were there around 3pm on a Sunday summer afternoon. **Update: originally a 5 star review but after an awful late night/early morning on the toliet and my wife's innards churning and Deschutes was the only place we ate at that day we were served something bad. We had different beers and different food but each of us did have a side salad although with different dressing. I'll still buy their beers from a store but can not recommend their public house.

Went last night. It was my 3rd or 4th time at the public house. My experience last night was pretty poor from start to finish.
- when my girl and I arrived, we were happy to see open tables all around us. Turns out they had a 2-3 minute wait. Well that 2-3 min turned out to be 10. This would not have been a huge deal but my girl has a broken ankle and was on her knee scooter. Not once did they offer a chair or anything like that. Surely not required but it would have been courteous
- after being seated, the water was brought and about 10-15 minutes passed. A waiter walks by and says have you guys been helped . Nope we haven t. He took our order
- we got our beers and food. Burger was red inside (all the way through) and was supposed to be medium well, ordered ketchup with the meal, however we did not receive any. When I flagged he waiter and said we would like some ketchup, he brought a small container. I just handed it my lady and didn t bother
- halfway through the meal, both beer and water were gone. Not once did anyone stop to ask if we needed anything else. (My intent was have a couple more)
- the next waiter that checked on us was about 20 minutes after we were done eating. Just to bring the check. Never asked if we need anything else

All in all, the beer was good but the service was shotty. They were pretty well staffed too so their is no understaffed excuse. I will buy Deschutes beer but I will not be back there.

Nice brewery with typical offer.
When we arrived we would have to wait because there is a lot going on at the weekend. The atmosphere is great and fitting. However, it is a bit noisy.
The service was quick and attentive. A refill was only offered towards the end, only shortly before payment.
Otherwise the service was great!
The dishes were good and tasty.
It is good that a side salad can be ordered with the burger instead of fries.
With the Elke Burger, you can easily choose a higher cooking level (e.g.
Medium-Well instead of medium) because the meat's own taste is very intense.
This brewery was the best of the three visited. Bridgeport and Fat Head were similar, but somewhat after the Deschutes Brewery.
