We highly recommend Deeper Green. Michael is very knowledgeable and professional. We have worked with a lot of contractors and these guys are by FAR some of the best out there. They are worth the higher price tag. Deeper Green air sealed and re-insulated our attic, for the first time ever our house is comfortable. Michael went above and beyond and provided suggestions for additional measures we could take to air seal our home. His team member, Ivan, treated our home with respect and left it clean at the end of every day. Awesome job!

Matt and Michael oversaw upgrading the insulation of our ceiling, attic spaces, and crawl space. We are quite pleased with the overall results. They substantially reduced air leakage, and loss of heat through the roof, which has already reduced utility bills and ice dams. They and their workers were very thorough and professional. Things went a little slower than hoped in places, but we consider that to be a minor concern. We recommend Deeper Green.

Deeper Green conducted an energy audit of our townhome in Vail. They were timely, thorough, well informed and helpful. I re-contacted them about completing some energy efficiency improvements, including encapsulating a crawl space and re-insulating our basement. Despite some Covid related challenges, Michael Petzak kept with it, and got the project done to my complete satisfaction. Michael is one of those rare contractors who understands that communicating regularly with a client is how you develop trust, even if your local pandemic is making things difficult. DG also completed all the paperwork for energy rebates, which was greatly appreciated and successful.

Thanks for your time Mike and Tom. What I learned was my gas fire place that did not work was letting so much cold air into my house and that was why it always felt cold in that room. It was an easy fix, plug the chimney and the the intake vent and remove the 25 year old gas fire place insert and put a fun picture in front of the opening and now that room is warm like the rest of the house. Michael and Tom provided a comprehensive report with detailed suggestions after their audit, and were will to adjust to focus on the issues most important to us (heat tape). They were happy to spend the time explaining concepts that were not familiar to me. Overall a great experience.

This is a MUST for anyone who owns a mountain home. Lets face it, this environment is extreme with temperatures, wind, snow, and UV. Improving the efficiency of your home can save thousands.
